Cellbit: Yeah, [Bobby is] our son.
Roier: What?
Cellbit: He's our son, no? Or not? Am I not?
Roier: I mean… he's already dead. [...] By the time we got married, he was no longer around. So in theory, in theory-
Cellbit: But in my heart, he is my son.
Roier: Oh, that's fine, in your heart, yes. In your heart, yes. But actually-
Cellbit: He could have been my son, he could have been.
Roier: But actually, he is my son and Jaiden’s.
Cellbit: Yes yes, definitely, of course.
Roier: [Smacks him] Exactly. Well, you're the step-father, you know?
[ Full Transcript ↓ ]
Cellbit: Hey Tina, have you met Bobby? I don't think you did, right?
Tina: I met him a little bit earlier, he's so cute!
Roier: Aww
Tina: I told him I like StarBobby.
Cellbit: Yeah, it's our son.
Roier: What? But-
Cellbit: He's our son, no? Or not? Am I not?
Roier: I mean... he's already dead.
Cellbit: That's true, that's true.
Roier: By the time we got married, he was no longer around.
Cellbit: That's true, true.
Roier: So in theory, in theory-
Cellbit: But in my heart, he is my son.
Roier: Oh, that's fine, in your heart, yes. In your heart, yes. But actually-
Bagi: Am I the auntie?
Cellbit: He could have been my son, he could have been.
Roier: But actually, he is my son and Jaiden’s.
Cellbit: Yes yes, definitely, of course.
Roier: [Smacks him] Exactly. Well, you're the step-father, you know?
Bagi: So I don't think I'm your auntie, sorry. Unless you want to!
Cellbit: Yes, fake dad, fake dad. Fake father.
Roier: But it's ok. It's ok.
Cellbit: It's ok, it's ok.
Roier: It's this dumbass' fault he died anyways.

Hey you, QSMP fan. We need to talk about something. One fan to another. You ready??
CAN WE STOP EXCLUDING Q!JAIDEN OUT OF STUFF???
Seriously! Some people on Twitter have pointed out how she's constantly excluded from theories, fanart, the Familoier and other fan related stuff.
Excluding her from the "Can you hear it?" event fanart, edits and theories, even though she was the one who started said event.
How she's constantly excluded from Roier's family, despite being the mother of his son and his platonic partner.
She constantly gets pushed aside solely because she can't nor wants to be shipped with anyone... or because she gets in the way of ships.
Before Cellbit came along and SpiderBear (Roier X Spreen) was the #1 Roier ship, some people have gone so far as to say that Jaiden isn't actually Bobby's mother, just so she could be replaced with Spreen as Bobby's second parent. And some fans still do this, but with Cellbit now.
Cellbit can also be Bobby's father, but that doesn't mean Jaiden stops being his mom.
It doesn't matter who q!Roier loves or is with romantically. q!Jaiden is, and will always be, Bobby's mother. PERIOD.
She's part of the family. Foolish and Cellbit have been very vocal about her being family, and Roier has, on multiple occasions, called her Bobby's mom.
Not to mention Cucurucho. People discuss how Foolish or Philza are his favorites when it's clearly Jaiden. Since day one, Jaiden has been Cucurucho's favorite. She was the first one to encounter him, the first one to receive a gift from, she's the only one whom he allows to pet him, and she's the only one he ever apologizes to.
Philza's and Cucurucho interactions are mostly based on 4th wall breaks, so they shouldn't really be considered cannon. While Foolish's relationship with him is very one sideded (Even Foolish himself has asked Cucurucho why does he prefer Jaiden over him)
Things are bad enough due to the fans' poor treatment of Baghera. It seems that women always get the short end of the stick when it comes to SMP fandoms.
So please. Let's include her a little more shall we? :)
(BTW if you're one of the few who does recognize how important she is to the lore and her friends and treat her as such, I love you) *Explodes*

Anyway, this is all to say that q!Roier is such a fascinating character, but he’s very watered down in the fandom because he himself has watered himself down in character. He’s very happy to just ignore his tragic past and his own literal murderous impulses in favor of building his dead son a city and hanging out with his sexy cool hot smart husband. He’s a very good actor (both cubito and creator)- q!Spreen and q!Quackity never even realized he was mad at them. Nobody left on the island except for q!Jaiden even remotely knows what went down because Roier just… doesn’t acknowledge it.
And he still isn’t acknowledging it, probably partially because cc!Roier is very close with cc!Spreen and he knows that Spreen doesn’t really wanna be connected with lore at all, but in rp that could literally just be q!Roier just internalizing it and pretending it didn’t happen and that it didn’t leave him a mess that still hasn’t been cleaned up. Because Roier is still traumatized, he just won’t do anything about it because he’s convinced himself that he’s just kinda just over it. He’s moved on! He’s happy again! He has a new family (who won’t betray him) and a new romantic interest (who won’t literally stab him in the back) and he’s happy.
Happy Roier is the way he’s constantly presenting himself, so it makes sense that that’s the way the fandom sees him. His old lore hasn’t been brought up in months… on the surface. But if you read into his character, you can still see his trauma even now that he’s wearing his Happy Outfit again.
His taqueria is a perfect example of that: he didn’t even touch a taco ingredient after he was betrayed over taco ingredients. But once he started building Bobby’s City after he started getting close with people again, he started the taqueria he had always dreamed of building. And he finished it for his fiancé so they could have their first date there, just like how he had planned to take all his friends (and his crush q!Spreen) to his taqueria back in March/April before they crushed his dreams and sent him into a depression spiral. Even now, he just doesn’t really ever touch tacos. He lets Leo take care of all of that, and he doesn’t really make them at home. He’s probably remembering q!Missa’s words: “You care more about tacos than your own friends.”
Oh, and there’s how q!Cellbit told Roier that he used to kill people and how Roier’s only concern with that was whether or not Cellbit would kill him. Because Roier is not a very sympathetic person, he only became a therapist for the gossip, and he blows people up with mines for fun and he asks his husband to kill for him when he’s even slightly annoyed. But he remembers how the person he cared about most took a sword and stabbed it through his back and killed his dog in front of him (notice how Roier hasn’t had his own pet since then, only the people he’s lived with have them.) And he’s terrified of that happening again.
And then there’s his reaction to q!Foolish seemingly getting stuck in the Nether. Because while everybody was joking about having a funeral, Roier was silent. (And he’s only silent when he’s doing rp.) He doesn’t have a lot of family, and it’s implied that he just didn’t have any besides his freaky abuelo before the island, so losing someone else he cares about kinda just… hurt. He got Cellbit to stop with the funeral stuff and he jumped in front of a literal (bubble) gun to protect Foolish when he came back because he’s tired of his family getting hurt!
Everyone Roier loves either leaves him or gets hurt, and so he’s obviously limited himself. He only ever really interacts with Cellbit, who he trusts not to willingly leave him, Richarlyson, who he will make sure will never get hurt because all the eggs get hurt when he watches them and they die and-, and Jaiden, who he knows would never hurt him or leave him.
But despite all of this, he’s still just a Little Guy. He presents himself as such constantly. It’s a coping mechanism. It’s him pretending nothing’s wrong and everything’s fine and he’s just a Little Guy!!! And that’s why the fandom probably gets him wrong so much, because the character gets himself wrong, and that’s absolutely fascinating from a meta perspective

I have no brain for prose at the moment, because I don't think I've watched enough Cellbit to really get his mannerisms right but just a concept in my head at the moment like
Cellbit has had the urge to relapse back to what felt natural, to resort of violence, to killing. Now not in service of himself, but for the people he cares about.
His hold over those urges was admirable, but it was always bound to snap.
It started with Felps. His friend. Lost to the Federation's grasp. I'd imagine ignoring the urge was...easy then, at least with the initial idea. He had a plan, he directed his focus to infiltrating, to misleading and convincing Cucurucho that he could be trusted. It was hard. Here on the island, he had found a family, friends, people he knew and grown to care about. To push them away, and mislead them must have felt awful. Back in the war, things weren't as complicated but he wanted to do something different. He can be different.
I imagine when it failed, when he was taken back and captured, maybe there was that voice at the back of his mind. "This would have been easier if..."
But it was a constant companion for many years, and he's had practice pushing it down and refocusing his energy to other things.
Like his family, his son, the Eggs, his friends, the Order, Roier, their wedding, the campaign for the presidency. There was a lot to do, so much that needed his attention it would have been easy to just focus on the next thing and pretend that those darker thoughts wasn't there.
Then the Eggs disappeared. His son was gone, the other Eggs were gone, and no one knew what had happened. Everyone was searching for answers and they barely had the pieces to put things together. But the Federation must have been behind it, they took the Eggs last time, it was the only answer.
Then Forever was forced to take the risus potion, forced to become a twisted parody of himself that Cellbit couldn't get through to. Forced to pretend everything was okay.
And Pac...Pac whom Cellbit had seen sink to despair since Mike was lost and now pushed even further now that Richas was missing. Pac was still determined, still so willing to sacrifice himself for the smallest chance to figure out what was affecting their friend, their family and find a way to cure him.
How Cellbit must have felt the strongest urge to tear the entire Federation down to the ground, when he found himself between Forever and Pac on that bench. How difficult that must have been to ignore and push past, because he couldn't indulge in it. He had to hold strong, he had to bring them back to reality, to come back to him.
But seeing Pac whimpering, huddled and trapped and so small, so afraid in that cage...then listening to Forever's screams, directed at the memory of Cucurucho in Cellbit's place, a play by play of what led him to be drugged in the first place, how those darker urges must have reared it's head up. Did Cellbit wish he did what Forever did? Even knowing where it led? That urge to let loose, to direct his anger at something, at someone who must have knew all the answers, who were obviously playing them for fools again, who was hurting his family so deeply once more, forcing those he cared about to this state.
It must have led to sleepless nights. Frustration and anger. He must have been so tired.
An exhaustion that everyone on the island felt, but especially...Roier. His huband.
Cellbit would have never forgotten the way the Federation played with Roier and Jaiden's hopes with Bobby's life. Dashing them when they were only granted 10 minutes with their child instead of giving him back.
And now the Eggs have been ripped away again. Roier's sister was taken. Roier's son in law was gone, and for someone that already lost someone he felt responsible for, Cellbit must have seen the heavy toll it took on Roier. The dark eye bags, the way he tries to busy himself, the way that he accepted the Eggs must be dead because he can't take another heartbreak. He can't handle to have that hope they're alive dashed again. Again. Again.
Then...Bagi. That was the last straw. The one that broke the camel's back. The revelation he had a peaceful life before. He was loved, he was safe, he had a family, he had a sister...He had a past before the war, he had come from somewhere, and he was ripped away from it, those memories lost, drowned with the memory of blood and violence and survival.
Cellbit had spent so long treading water, keeping his head up, but no more. No longer. He can't afford to. He had tried playing by the bear's rules, he had tried going about it another way, but clearly it wasn't working.
It was time for a change of tactic.
...
Did killing that first worker feel like relief? Did he surprise himself with how easy it was to slip back into those old habits he had spent so long to ignore? How easy to must have been to watch, to stalk, to wait...before going for the kill?
But maybe he can tell there's a difference here now. Just a little.
These skills were ones he learned to survive. Taught by a dear, old friend. And it served him well, but now he's stepping back into the shoes of the monster, not for himself no. But for the people he loves. The people he knows have been hurt. He's doing it for them.
He will burn down the Federation even if he has to use his own body for the kindling.

q!parrotduo (q!Jaiden and q!Roier from the QSMP) Propaganda:
They raised a kid together and he was the best dragon ever, they've been there for the other at their lowest and even when no one else believed them, they have been through grief and healing together, they would go through Hell for the other.
They are canonically platonic partners, Jaiden is Aroace and Roier has a husband (outside of the QPR) and had a wonderful son (egg), Bobby. Even when they were lawyers on opposing sides of a court case, afterwards they complimented each other on how they did during the case. On top of that, Jaiden threatened Roier's husband Cellbit before their marriage, telling him that if he hurt Roier she would hunt him down, and telling him to be honest to Roier. They are the greatest <3
they had a kid together and lived together and even after bobby died they’ve stayed the bestest of friends ☹️ roier even got married but jaiden is still so important to him and they both care for each other so much and roier’s husband sees her as equally part of their family too
they adopted a kid together because of an event and they didnt have to go hard as they did. after the kid died, they STILL were together. then roier married another guy BUT all jaiden did was threaten him bc all she wants is for roier to be happy.
i dont even go here but this qpr is literally canon. jaiden is an aroace queen and also these two raised a son together like come on bro
Q! and cc!Jaiden is aroace and q!roier is queer. They were selected to be a pair to raise a child who they named Bobby. Jaiden moved into roier's home, had their beds next to each other, they raised bobby together, went on adventures together. Jaiden and roier loved each other and called each other family. When people asked if they were together they both said no but they were partners. Jaiden was extremely supportive of roier's cross dressing and him working at a strip club. Roier helped her practice her fighting skills. When roier became romantically interested in another character nothing between them changed and Jaiden threatened the other character to never hurt roier. Bobby died and they mourned and Jaiden moved away but they were still very close and visit each other often and roier keeps an eye on her interactions with a federation worker called cucurucho to make sure it doesn't hurt her. They are literally the perfect example of a qpr; living together, expressing their love for each other, raising a child together but never being romantically involved and being such a unit together and everyone on the island knows it and loves them too.
its like halfway canon that theyre in a QPR, they raise a child together and sleep next to each other and are basically life partners. jaiden supports roiers other relationships, and they actually support and communicate with each other and its great
They raised a child together, Roier's in game romantic husband loves Jaiden almost as much Roier does
you don't understand your honor they're everything to me. they're basically canon. they raised a kid together, lived in the same house, slept in the same bed, and trusted each other with everything. Someone once asked if they were together romantically and their answers were 'family' and 'partners' and often times they're just called 'platonic life partners'. They trust each other first no matter what they are RIDE or DIE qpp bitrans and aroace
oh my gdodddd dude oh my goddddd oh my godddddd oh my lord oh my LORRRDDDDDD they got randomly paired together to raise a child and had hardly interacted before that and immediatley became besties and there is so much respect and patience and trust in their relationship even after the loss of their child they are eachothers confidants they always want the best for eachother they are everything to me im craszy ANIMATIONS FAMILY 4EVER
they raised a child together they live together Jaiden's aroace and supports her partner's drag stripping career she was at his wedding
they raised a child together. jaiden is aroace and roier was kinda a whore before he got married (not to jaiden though) but they are besties and they care for each other very much. when their son bobby died they were each other's rock. i barely watch the livestreams but i see the liveblogging and its just so so obvious they care for each other and are ride or die PLEASE LET THEM IN AND WIN
they were the best parents to their little egg, Bobby, and are just so silly goofy together. They hype each other up SO MUCH.
Just these two lol not much for me to say but lots of platonic love to give
roier is gay and married to a man and jaiden's aroace but they are still partners!!! they're family they're a couple but they're not dating or romantically interested in each other. everyone in-canon acknowledges their relationship as equally as important as a romantic one, even roier's husband.
They LITERALLY lived together and slept in the same bed and raised a child together and one of them is played by an aroace person! The ccs never implied or explicitly said there was anything romantic between their characters, but the characters are still incredibly close with one another, even when Roier had his own romantic arc with another character!
They raised a son together platonically, Roier is married and he and Jaiden’s relationship is treated with the same amount of gravitas and weight as Roier’s relationship with his husband. They’re mutually supportive and care about each other so deeply. They’ve been through the loss of their son together and have continued to wholeheartedly mutually support and protect each other.
BOBBY THEIR LITTLE EGG THEY
canonically a family unit but not in the nuclear way (they both parent a child, but they are not in a romantic relationship nor a couple, nor did either of them create this child). this platonic relationship is treated equally to one of the character's romantic relationships and is not seen as 'less' than the romantic one. it is expressed multiple times throughout the series how important this platonic relationship is.
They co-parented their adopted kid together for a while and were acknowledged by pretty much everyone as the best parents, and now that Roier is married, his husband treats him and jaiden with just as much respect as she does their marriage,,,, which means a lot to me personally <3
roier literally considers his relationship with jaiden (who is aroace) to be equal to that of his relationship with his husband. his husband also treats jaiden n roiers relationship as equal to his and roiers!! plus jaiden and roier raised a son together and slept next to each other and were often mistaken for being husband and wife bc of how affectionate they were but its completely platonic! also when roiers husband, cellbit, was being an asshole pre engagement, jaiden talked with roier about how she thinks he deserves better and threatened cellbit if he hurt roier. i have many feelings about them but most of them are like just stick figure gore images
qpr of all time. i dont even watch qsmp but theyre so sillies. they raised a kid (egg) together. jaiden is acearo
Roier is a very gay hypersexual man and Jaiden is AceAro!! They refer to eachother as partners and raised an (egg)child together. Theyre besties theyre ride or die they trust eachother above anyone else etc etc
Q!JAIDEN CALLED Q!ROIER HER PARTNER SEVERAL TIMES!!! SHES AROACE AND HES MARRIED AND ALSO THEY RAISED A CHILD TOGETHER AND LIVED TOGETHER (<- i am feral)
They have said they love each other and it wasn’t romantic. One of them is played by and aroace person, one of them isn’t and the character still has a relationship outside of the romantic/platonic binary while still having both romantic and platonic relationships.
They have directly referred themselves as platonic partners multiple time throughout their time together. Despite the fact that Q!Roier is married to another character, his relationship with Q!Jaiden is never dismissed and is held at the same importance as his romantic relationship.
Literally call each other partner and family. Raised a egg son for a while (rip Bobby) Jaiden helped set him up with Cellbit! (They’re married now)

About Q!Roier and the eggs missing
Roier said his goodbyes to Cellbit and teleported home before letting out a long sigh and slowly sinking to the floor.
Tiredness came from running, exercising, a long trip to the caves or fighting overpowered mobs. It also came from making sure everyone smiled around you even when the air weighted enough to make your lungs shut tight.
After the sight of an empty bed left the Island tumbling, blindly looking for a way to react, Roier was as tired as if he'd run miles and fought thousand mobs.
He stared down at the cold, cobbled floor and touched it, wondering if the earth underneath it had any answers he didn't.
There's not a lot you can do if you're stuck playing the part of the clown. He'd learned that with time, and he's gotten better at feeling, he really has. It's just easier to make fun of a wound than bleeding out.
At the very least, he knew Cellbit understood. Jokes can only get you so far, and he'd always been better at understanding Roier's mindset than others, if you're not counting Jaiden. Before he even tried to explain his humor, which can sometimes cross lines out of clumsiness, Cellbit understood where it was all coming from, and that was more than he could ask for.
Still, Roier had to stand up and prepare for bed without having the chance to talk to Richarlyson about how the day went. He had to go to sleep without telling him a dumb story about his uncle coming back to eat him if he didn't shower, or singing to him the latest song he had stuck on his mind, or kissing his forehead goodnight.
It was muscle memory. Long term memory, because he doesn't frequent this place, but he found himself opening the door to an empty house and an empty bed with a warm kitchen, the stove on waiting for no one.
He smiled when he saw the pan, the memory of Leonarda putting a fried egg in it just to indulge his stories still fresh. He laid on the bed beside it and closed his eyes.
They'd be back. They came back once, they'd do it again. It was just this Island's commitment to breaking every spirit anyone had left. Roier's had been squished some time ago, so he could play his part until the others found peace.
It was no one's bussiness if he cared, if he cried because he missed his sister, or his son, or every kid that deserved better. It was no one's business if he cried for Bobby because empty beds were getting too familiar. Absolutely nobody's business, because no one deserve to know of his love and pain. That was for him to deal with.
Maybe he never fell asleep, but he remembers night turning to day and practicing the smile he would display in the morning. He would not let this Island win, he would not let anyone see him cry. And when the eggs came back, he would tease them until they smiled too.

Pepito is such a tragic egg
Pepito arrived on Quesadilla Island, watched as the other two eggs were excitedly whisked away into the waiting arms of eager family while Pepito waited for someone who didn't show up. Eventually this changes, and Pepito meets one of Pepito's parents, Roier!
Pepito only knows Roier in dark clothes, a permanent frown on his face, eyebags and eyeliner merging together to make dark blotches and obvious tear tracks. Roier tries his best. Pepito wants to believe that Roier tries his best.
Pepito never meets Pepito's other parents, though Roier talks plenty about them. Pepito has heard of Carre, Quackity, Mariana, and Rivers. Pepito knows mom Rivers lives to the west from Roier's castle. Pepito wanders Roier's castle sometimes. It's too empty, too quiet. The paintings and portraits lining the walls are happy, but Pepito has never met Jaiden, and the way Roier's eyes unfocus when he tries to look at the little egg in the images, it saddens Pepito. Pepito only went into Bobby's tomb once, but Pepito knows that Roier is capable of love, because the castle that Pepito has been calling home won't let Pepito forget it.
Pepito wonders if there's just no more room in Roier's heart for love.
Roier talks about his husband and stepson on occasion. Pepito thinks there is a smile to be found on Roier's face when he gets deep enough into a story about some adventure the trio had been on to forget that Pepito has never met either of them. But there always comes a moment when Roier trips over his tongue and pauses midway through a word, as if he'd suddenly caught sight of something in the distance. Then he turns to Pepito, loudly declaring that the story doesn't matter because everyone he'd loved is dead, very dead. And he brandishes his chancla for emphasis and ignores Pepito's involuntary flinch and continues on, a bit quieter than before.
Pepito wants Roier to be loved. Pepito wants to love Roier. Pepito wants to be loved.
Eventually Pepito meets Roier's stepson, and this is the last day Pepito sees Roier. Richas and Pepito learn to get along, and the island babysitting system works well enough for some time! But not enough.
Roier is missing. Pepito never really got to know Roier, not that Pepito knows that. Pepito never got to meet Pepito's other parents, never got to see Cellbit together with Richas and Roier. Pepito never got the real parent's love Pepito desired so much.
The little egg doesn't know it, but months back Roier once received an anonymous message in handwriting too distinctive to be disguised. A message that said "You deserve better than everything that has happened to you on this island." Like father like son.
Pepito is such a tragic egg

Hey, take what I say with a grain of salt
It's not an analysis, it's more like my point of view, you may not agree with everything and that's perfectly fine :D ♡ [feel free to give your opinion in this post].
qRoier has been through so much [pain, loss, betrayal] and the emotional scars continue to accumulate.
He lost his son [Bobby died in his care], he lost Tilin and Juanaflipa too, also during purgatory he had to do horrible things like kill and hurt people who were important to him, all this in the hope of being able to save the eggs or at least some of them.
But in the end, he lost everyone who had cared about him [qFoolish, qJaiden, qCellbit... to mention a few but qCellbit being one of the "losses" that have the most weight in the current state of qRoier] and they could only save a single egg, it couldn't even have been one chosen by the winning team, it was a random choice by a roulette wheel making the whole purgatory thing feel even more pointless.
He left purgatory feeling alone and also with the feeling of having been used just for entertainment by the eye guy.
qRoier lost everything without gaining anything and that's the worst...
No, scratch that, one of the worst things for him may be that with the return of the eggs he's not even sure if he really lost these people, he doesn't know if they are alive, he doesn't know if they are well or if they are dying in some hole and seeing eggs in a coma is [maybe] a reminder of that possibility.
So it's no surprise to me that he tries to convince himself that those in the hospital are fake eggs or something like that.
It is easier to try to accept that they are no longer with him and that there is nothing that can be done than to think day and night how much they are probably suffering and that HE cannot do anything for them, it is easier than hoping they'll return only to have that hope mercilessly taken away from him.
Now, why do I think the possible loss of qCellbit has relevance to the current state of qRoier?
When they got married it was like making a pact to be there for each other through thick and thin [which Roier was willing to do] and they always trusted each other. Just before purgatory qCellbit confessed to qRoier that he had been killing the federation workers and asked him if he was willing to help him and accompany him down that dark path [obviously qRoier accepted], they went through a lot together during the purgatory [they even they decided to blow up together when the meteor didn't crush them] so I think qRoier was confident that if they didn't leave purgatory together, they would both die in it TOGETHER.
But that didn't happen, instead qRoier managed to get on the boat in the hope of finding qCellbit there and a few seconds before the whole egg island went to hell he only received one last goodbye and one last "i love you".
qCellbit decided to stay on Egg Island with Richarlyson but wanted his husband to be well.
He wanted him to be well and to live, to be safe back on Quesadilla Island, it was probably fine for qCellbit to leave like that, after all he no longer had many things tying him to Quesadilla Island and surely qCellbit didn't want qRoier to get hurt because of his own selfish decision.
Buuut, for qRoier that was the most selfish decision qCellbit could have made, it was like he had left him out of his plans, it's no wonder he feels abandoned, qCellbit He broke that pact they had and broke qRoier's trust [in a certain way] by not telling him that he didn't really want to go back to Quesadilla knowing that qRoier was willing to follow him wherever he went, knowing that qRoier was willing to stay with him, together.
And then there's Pepito... Oh Pepito.
I think qRoier has mixed feelings about Pepito, on the one hand he doesn't trust the federation at all [or anyone in general, but mainly the federation after everything they've done and what they did to him and Jaiden when Bobby died, not to mention that Roier probably believes that the federation was also responsible for purgatory [I'm not sure either if the eye guy is from the federation or not xd]] reason why I think it is understandable that he does not accept Pepito in the first instance, another thing that is not in Pepito's favor are qRoier's emotional scars [We already know, Bobby died and he doesn't want to replace him, he just lost a lot in purgatory [a very recent scar], his possible fear of forming bonds with other people or eggs, the fact that Richarlyson and Leo are in a coma and there is nothing he can do..] Pepito's arrival simply couldn't have been at a worse time.
I also feel that a part of qRoier knows that Pepito is not to blame for anything [or at least that's what part of him wants to believe] and deep down he cares about Pepito. Maybe seeing Pepito so happy and innocent, makes him think it's best to treat Pepito so roughly, not only to avoid getting too attached to Pepito [due to trauma, because it would be painful if Pepito died and also because the federation gave Pepito to him out of nowhere without prior notice] but also because he knows how much that island [and the federation] can break you and how much it can take from you, it is better to take away that innocence little by little himself than for the island to do it all at once, right?. [All those times qRoier has said that Pepito reminds him of him, makes me believe that qRoier sees in Pepito reflected the same innocence that he had in his first days on the island, excited to make friends and meet new people but what did all of that lead him to? To loneliness and pain, a lot of pain in fact].
He could very well walk away from Pepito completely but instead he keeps him [kind of] close because he knows that HE is the only thing Pepito has and maybe the closest thing to a family Pepito can ever have on that island.
At this point I think qRoier is afraid of loneliness, but he is even more afraid of being abandoned. He is isolating himself from everyone on the island, limiting his relationships so he doesn't have to have to go through that feeling of abandonment again.
Or rather, Quesadilla Island has taught him how dangerous and painful trust and the bonds one form with others can be.
And he doesn't want to feel any more pain so he is being even more careful about those things.
And today's stream highlights qRoier's trust issues for me.
They are a lot of thoughts thrown together in one post. I hope it makes sense ಥ‿ಥ.

new file added to au’s I will probably never write but are fun to rotate in the brain microwave:
qsmp pacific rim au
instead of kaiju, you have alien creatures that shift and warp their giant forms and sometimes look like literal binary code to people although no one can agree quite on what one looks like. they just know it when they see it. and you also have the federation running the jaeger program with our good ol friend cucurucho overseeing it all
ft. pilot pairings like
Jaiden and Roier who have always been a great duo until the son they've been coparenting was critically injured in a recent attack
Forever struggling to find someone he’s drift compatible with until a French pilot named Baghera gets transferred to the base
Charlie and Mariana who were a great pilot team until their daughter Juanaflippa was killed in a binary entity attack on the base itself, and the two both went off the rails the next time they tried piloting. long story short they both freaked out and accidentally took out a support beam, killing Tilin and a few other workers. it was deemed to be partly a glitch through the drift system and not entirely their fault, but they were both banned from piloting for the forseeable future
Quackity and Luzu were supposed to be a pilot duo, but Luzu went missing before they could ever get in the jaeger and hasn't been seen in months. Then Quackity's child Tílin was killed unintentionally by Charlie and Mariana's breakdown, and since then he's been deemed too unstable to pilot. Somehow Wilbur, a random computer tech who isn't trained to be a pilot, is the only person they've found that's also drift compatible with Quackity. But again, Quackity isn't allowed to pilot atm, and Wilbur has no interest in getting in the giant robot death machine. He has a daughter to take care of after all.
Phil has been a pilot longer than most and at the moment is piloting with Missa, who is much newer to piloting
Tazercraft are a very well-renowned pilot duo worldwide largely because of how high their drift compatibility is
but there's not just pilots! (also this is getting long so gonna put this under the cut)
cellbit is a biologist that studies the entities, but after he gets transferred to the base he starts getting suspicious of what's going on 'upstairs' with the federation itself
baghera is the only pilot in the french group. the rest of the guys are the engineers for her jaeger
felps, who was a biologist alongside cellbit, also went missing shortly after arriving on the base. people think both he and luzu are deserters but cellbit keeps insisting felps wouldn't just leave like that
maxo is a software engineer who is supposed to focus on the jaeger drift system but he also keeps dabbling with an AI he built himself in secret
bad is kind of like HR/social services for the base, and therefore it's kind of his job to babysit everyone's kids if they're busy with other stuff and will also usher them to a safe room during any attacks
foolish and vegetta are both jaeger engineers who met on the base and very quickly fell for each other. they're like the romcom portion of the whole thing
fit is a geologist trying to figure out where the fuck the entities are coming from
and of course there's the kids
there were a lot of kids made orphans by the initial attacks on major cities. there's an 'educational' program the federation has set up to allow a few kids orphaned through these attacks to live at the shatterdome and learn the ins and outs of jaegers when they're young as unofficial prep for the jaeger academy
because of this many people on the base did not intend to adopt kids they just kind of. bonded and eventually took them in.
for bobby, jaiden and roier were already copilots so when jaiden started bonding with this kid she met in the shatterdome roier soon followed thanks to the drift sharing
juanaflippa thought charlie and mariana were the coolest pilot team around and she just kept following them until charlie was like "is it unethical to teach a child how to shoot a gun? Idc I'm gonna do it anyway" and that sealed the bond
juanaflippa and trump both died in the same entity attack on the shatterdome
phil had wilbur long before the first entity attacks ever started, but during his time at the shatterdome phil quickly took a liking to chayanne and put in a request to adopt him. once he and missa start piloting together, missa gets parental feelings for chayanne seeing him through phil's memories and the two just unintentionally become coparents
part of why wilbur refuses to be a pilot is because he grew up with his dad as a pilot and knows how terrifying it is as a kid. he also never intended on having a kid at least until the entities were defeated because who would want to bring a kid into a world like that, but then he met a shy orphan girl at the shatterdome named tallulah and he was a goner.
people are very surprised when they learn bad and dapper are not biologically related. the two act exactly alike but no, dapper was an orphan bad ended up getting really really close to
when the shatterdome was still trying to find luzu quackity felt very listless since he didn't have a copilot and couldn't do anything. he ended up spending time with tilin, although he was always hesitant to label himself as a father. when tilin died though he was heartbroken
baghera is a more recent transfer to the shatterdome and stumbles across pomme on her first day. the little girl says one thing in french and baghera is like "oh my god she's mine" while the rest of her engineering crew are like "who is this random child why are you carrying her" (but they all end up warming up to her pretty quickly)
okay this ended up being way longer than I meant it to be god why is pacific rim so fun to rotate in the brain microwave

My understanding is that roier was just doing a bit as a pedantic lore nerd and ☝️🤓 actually'ing cellbit's ass about the timeline??? Like "sorry you can't be bobby's dad he was dead very much dead when we married 😔 stick to the timeline".
It's very usual for roier to conceal his feelings with a silly act, and as I was not watching from his pov it's harder to tell how much he meant by that comment, but the moment felt so silly to me I don't know why my dash is like this kk
yes lol everyone is taking it way more seriously than it needs to be which is what always happens
yeah i just rewatched the clip and like. my guy is not that pressed i think he does just view it as a matter of timeline and the fact that cellbit didn't have the chance to be bobby's dad, if that's how bobby and cellbit felt about each other. so no one knows, and no one can know, if that would've been their relationship. and also roier has called richas his son before plenty of times so, again, it's really just more a matter of the timeline for him and also making it clear that jaiden will always be bobby's other parent and was there the whole time with him.
also the fact that bc bobby is dead, he can't really decide for himself what that relationship is, so roier is speaking for him in this case and saying that's not something cellbit gets to determine. which he's right about! cellbit can consider bobby his son in that way, because to him, regardless of bobby's death, he means a lot to him and being married to his dad makes him his kid. but that doesn't mean bobby would have felt that way, so roier wants to make sure that decision wouldve stayed with bobby.
idk i think some people are being like "bobby's ORIGINAL two parents were jaiden and roier, so cellbit wasn't a part of that dynamic" and it's like. families are not all little math problems and stepparents and extended families and shit exist. like i think people get way too nuclear about it, but that's maybe just my opinion and how it works in my family. roier seemed, imo, to be talking about the timing. he literally says it's because bobby died before they got married, and cellbit didn't know him long enough for that to be their relationship. its not about the actual logistics of their relationship had bobby lived. i do not think he would've had an issue with cellbit saying that at all had bobby lived; again, he has called richas son many times. but since bobby's dead, that's not really on the table to him, and i think that's fair. people making it about anything beyond that are kind of being stupid, i think, and i think anyone saying he was mean or whatever to say that to cellbit are also stupid. yes, cellbit was probably hurt by it, but he's a grown ass man and he knows how to take a boundary and stick to it. he'll live. it was not even an argument, and he understands why roier feels that way.
idk it's not worth talking about anymore beyond this i think everyone is blowing it out of proportion and it's just making me tired

I'm the fellow anon who was asking about the ordem become human au, first thing, this is great, this is really great I know nothing about Detroit become human but I am extremely interested on what you have planned
I'm really curious about TazerCraft now, but you know what? Why not go with Roier before?
*cracks knuckles*
Fair warning, this AU is fairly light on the DBH and much more heavy on the Ordem (which is hysterical because I haven't even finished O Segredo na Floresta and have played the entirety of DBH multiple times—but who am I to argue with the plot?), but there are still elements—and they're actually strongest with Roier! >:3
So, the au is written from Roier's POV—which is actually turning into a tiny bit of a nightmare; A) because I understand Cellbit better than Roier, but I can get over that. B) because writing an android is fucking hard????
But I digress.
Roier is an android. He used to have the job of an RK200: essentially a domestic assistant/companion type 'droid. (To those of you that are DBH stans, I know Markus was a prototype, but hear me out.) Housesitting, watching the kids—you know. Typical stuff.
He lived in this household with a mother and her son. Somehow, there was an accident: Bobby got out late at night, and was found dead on the shore the next morning. Official police reports say he drowned. (Roier thinks there's more to it than that.) After Bobby's death, Roier was considered to have failed in his duties, and they were initially going to decommission him. But Jaiden, Bobby's mother, lobbied for them to keep him around, and instead, they simply reworked his memory card and assigned him to be an investigative assistant at the police station in the city.
Ever since meeting the quiet, sort-of-asshole-y new investigator at the station, there's been something itching at the back of Roier's brain; like a memory he can't quite place. Intellectually, he knows that his memory chip was wiped when they altered his purpose, so he has always simply assumed something didn't go quite right during the process.
Since he's met this investigator, however, he keeps getting...flashes of things. Memories, seemingly rewiring themselves into his synthetic mind. A kid, a young boy. His mother, and...well. Roier himself. The three of them.
He doesn't put it together until he takes a step back, staring at the graffiti in the old, abandoned laboratory. The small images, the detailed linework of the paintings blurs, combining to form a bigger picture, a face. Not a face...a memory.
The overwriting of his memory chip didn't take. Not fully. And all he needed to do to trigger it was to see the bigger picture.

Soul Eater Au.... TWO!!!!!
Part One Here
Last post was how members present themselves to each other, but not everyone is telling the whole truth. Here's some more of it.
Did any of y'all pick up on how almost all of the Hispanics are trained as meisters, including most of the weapons? That's no accident.
Centuries ago, the great witch Vegetta created the first weapon, granting an otherworldly being called Rubius the ability to shapeshift into any weapon at will. Their relationship... was fraught. You can ask any of the Hispanics and they'll give you a slightly different version of events, but everyone agrees that Vegetta and Rubius went through several breakups, during which time Vegetta started converting human and near-human lineages to weaponhood. Once humans started learning to wield those weapons to fight witches, Vegetta decided that he was curious to see where it would go and founded a school for meisters and their weapons. However, he's still bitter about his on and off again relationship with Rubius that's currently on a dry spell and so he emphasizes that teamwork is important, but you should never rely on anyone except yourself.
At this point, Vegetta considers himself retired. He has a paper agreement with his students that he can live in peace as long as he doesn't use his witch powers which he so far seems happy to abide by, but no one is quite willing to talk about what would have to be done if he broke his side of the deal. He genuinely isn't planning to though. Diamond swords are enough to deal with mobs and getting into a fight might wreck his lovely house.
Speaking of weapons with meister experience, Roier has learned more than a trick or two. He doesn't like to show off, but when Bobby was in genuine mortal peril on an airship, he wielded Jaiden for the first time and wiped the airship out with stunning precision and speed. Jaiden's memories of that day are mostly a blur, but she does think she remembers Roier even managing to wield himself and her at the same time – something that weapons rarely even attempt outside of showing off specific skills in tournament type situations.
Quackity is the only Hispanic who wasn't actually trained at Vegetta's academy. Probably. Pending learning more about ElQuackity. Either way, Cellbit isn't entirely comfortable around him after the whole Cucurucho chainsaw incident, but he can recognize that Quackity's weapon form isn't quite identical to the one Cucurucho used to torture him. There's something ever so slightly off about it. Kinda like how ElQuackity is from Quackity...
Anyway, there is another witch on Quesadilla Island. Witches have long been in hiding with meisters hunting them alongside more mundane mobs and young witches rarely last long. Old witches that have learned to hide their magic though, they can keep surviving for quite some time. Philza is an expert on surviving. The only living soul who knows he's a witch is his son Wilbur. He's even managed to keep the truth of his nature hidden from Missa.
That being said, Fit has his suspicions. It's impossible for a meister and a weapon to keep themselves on the same wavelength to work together without sharing something of their souls with each other and Fit has a lot of experience with people keeping secrets and a lot of experience getting them out of people. That being said, he hasn't lived this long without knowing when to stop prying.
Back when they were both getting used to the single parent life, Phil had a daily quest to take Chayanne and Tallulah caving. Chayanne got attacked by mobs and Phil had to decide between going down to help him and protecting Tallulah. In the moment of panic, he wielded Chayanne to kill the mobs and get both of them out of danger. Since then, Chayanne has been desperate to learn how to be a proper weapon while Phil flat out refuses to wield him again. Chayanne argues that the rules are that weapons must always protect their meisters and Phil argues that fuck the rules he will always protect his son.
With Missa not around, Phil enlisted Fit to teach Chayanne enough about being a weapon to keep himself alive and also to be available for Phil to wield in an emergency. The setup also gives Ramón more playmates and another fiercely protective bodyguard, so Fit has no objections and no desire to jeopardize it by prying into history Phil isn't interested in sharing. Well, he has no objections but he'd be lying if he said he didn't have some concerns about the way his recoil directly impacts Phil's wing, but, in Phil's words, "I'm not getting any more grounded."

I am a little confused about the discourse and insistence on it being major cultural difference. Because didn't q!Forever go to Bobby Fields without q!Jaiden's consent and spy on her? Which was a lore moment which a lot of people got upset about and seemed to view as invasive. Didn't q!Pac and q!Cellbit (I think it was those two, definitely Cellbit) explore q!Slime's house without an invite (it hadn't even been shown on Slimecicle's stream yet)? I don't think it was bad they did that. Slimecicle tried to share coords with Bad because Bad didn't know where his base was and put them in chat where everyone could see it and Cellbit in canonically nosy.
What is the difference between the way Brazilian's enter property without consent and the way other players do it? I don't mean it in negative way, I mean what is the line people are crossing? Because most people are just saying it is a big cultural difference about entering a home without consent. But I think a lot of people have done that.
hm
i think the difference is that other players break blocks/use any mechanics to break in player houses/bases! like bad has done with roier's place which has been something that always upset him to the point of complaining about it on streams many times (of course it wasn't in a serious way but here it shows the game etiquette) also vegetta was surprised that bad always found a way to get in his super base that is very protected!
when it's like a player sneaking in or following the coordinates of someone that publicly sent on chat then i think it is a bit different, still can be seen as invasive though! the forever situation with bobby fields was sad to me, since others thought jaiden was a bit... weird for grieving like this over her son y'know! bobby fields is important and private for her since, as i see it, it's a piece of jaiden's mind so it makes sense people get upset..? seeing her reaction when finding the waystone was sad
it may make no sense the cultural thing but, as someone who is chilean and has seen other hispanics talk about it, then it's because it is a thing that exists. not sure about how it is for brazilians (their etiquette) since, well, i'm not from there and i didn't know about the cc's until they were added to qsmp
also a great example of cultural differences is the opinion on mines, hispanic love them and the rest want them gone jsjdkdk

I want more people to talk about how Roier and Jaiden are not besties anymore. If they ever truly were. Everyone’s like “oh familoier, Jaiden Roier and cellbit are such an iconic trio. You got a man his husband and his partner!” But like Roier and Jaiden do not have that connection anymore. I’m unsure if they would even think about sharing to each other about their deepest secrets like they did back then. Plus the whole lack of trust between Jaiden and cellbit that goes both ways. I think the fandom wants him to care so much about her Bc of Roier but like. She’s not even that high on his list anymore and I think cellbit can tell.
To be clear. I would love them to all get along. I would love family dinners. And visits to Bobby’s grave together. And Jaiden helping Melissa with her makeup. I would’ve loved for cellbit to offer her a room in the castle like he did to mouse but like. Even mouse was a stranger when cellbit offered it to her. Their connection is more estranged than a strangers.
I can’t even think of anything that would bring Roier and jaidens friendship back to the bond it was.
And it's absolutely heartbreaking because Jaiden was Roier's best friend for so fucking long. But then Bobby died, and she didn't see room for herself in Roier's life anymore.
She's always had problem with her self-esteem and self-worth. She never really seemed to include herself in Roier's life. She was Bobby's mother, and she legitimately didn't see a purpose for herself after Bobby died. She looked at Roier and saw all those friends of his, friends he quite literally didn't consider his friends outside of Cellbit, and she went. Well. He doesn't need me anymore.
He was the first person she showed Bobby Fields to, and he followed her around all that night trying to protect her from Cucurucho.
But after the wedding, they really haven't talked much. She thinks he's happy now that he has Cellbit, so she's been hanging out with other people. He doesn't need her anymore.
But he and Cellbit were the first to finally notice her missing, and Roier's immediate response was "We need to save her".
But, weirdly enough, the last time they really have had any sort of conversation was at the election dinner in I think August. This was after he spent the debates cheering her on as she moderated, but it was before she really properly started getting manipulated by the Federation via the :) Units (aka the Cucuruchos.)
They saw the Code Bobby and Jaiden stayed by him while Roier immediately realized it wasn't his son and left to get his items from his corpse from earlier. They haven't talked about it since.
They haven't really spoken at all since then. It's gotten to the point where, when thinking of people Roier knew he could count on, it was "Me and Cellbit against the world" where, even just a few months ago before the elections, Roier would've counted her as one of the people he 100% had in his corner.
He says hi when she logs in, and she says hi back, but I don't know if she's seen every building in Bobby's City, or if she's visited Bobby's grave, and I don't think Roier has seen Jaiden's new house or even her new wings.
And it's sad because they were so close when Bobby was alive. Jaiden is currently the only person on that island who knows about his betrayal. They shared a house. I think they even shared a bed on the first floor. She's one of the few people to know about his basement storage system. He was the first person to get to see Bobby Fields, and he remains as one of only four or so people she's ever actually invited to see it.
But the thing is... Jaiden hasn't really ever believed herself worthy of being his best friend the way he considered her his best friend. First, she felt bad about using all his extra gear and living in his house and eating his food. Then, she saw all these people showing up to "save Bobby" and she thought they were there for him and not for her despite them being there for the both of them. She saw Cellbit and thought, well, Roier doesn't need me anymore. And now that he's married to Cellbit and she's being manipulated by the Cucuruchos (and she knows that she's being manipulated, thank you), she probably thinks and knows that she can't trust him with the fact that she's friends with the Cucuruchos because he'll just tell Cellbit about it. She can't trust him anymore, and it's been so long since he's seen her that he might not trust her, either.
