I've stumbled onto many manwha with-FL or some other MC- and also thr Time Loop Theory for Twst and it got me thinking...

What If?

MC was in the time loop with the Cast of Twst who were genuinely apathetic towards them, and everytime the OverBlots happened, they died in them. And that trauma is a memory that they keep with them.

On top of that, they are trying to break it, but their hope dims for their future as they just want the others to live. They still push through succeeding in ending the vicious cycle...

Completely oblivious to the fact that the NRC 22 and Crowley are well aware of the events as well, and are as desperate for MC to live as well

"I figured the thought would make him stop beating around the bush since in the past it was true." Nowadays is a different matter entirely. "That said getting Tsukuyomi to stay up here? Considering he wants to avoid having any chance of running into our father, that seems very hard to make accomplish."

Which is why Susanoo had his own bet. "So since he visits her all the time, she should go visit him. That guy has expanded where he lives to keep a completely hidden section for where he makes things he sends to mom. So now others can visit without him worrying since its no slouch compared to here or where I live. Yet there's clearly an area for where kids can go play thanks to Chibi visiting him often."

"And from there, she can stay over at his place. After all, you can watch over Noboru just fine or she can just take Noboru with her. There's no ulterior motives on our parts for watching over her son and Tsukuyomi practically Noboru's dad if she does take him with her. Hm, I'll go visit Celeste myself and suggest it. Not like she has any idea I'm aware of things."

So he quickly left to go do so.

"So question." Yami appears out of darkness. "Besides the fact I know Susanoo got hit by a beam of moonlight the second there was no risk of hitting your place. Why does it feel like you're out to test your brothers patience?"

"And yet, he's rarely home again, these days... Izanami's the last of our parents I've seen," the goddess mused, baffled...but understanding. Izanagi hasn't exactly been doing well to not end up on people's shit lists... Again. Suppose the family talents for troublemaking had to come from someone, and if it wasn't Izanami... It would be Izanagi.

However, that then prompts the next fair, yet equally tricky part to Susano'o's ramblings... Getting her to visit Tsukuyomi, then. Hearing that he's established a comfortable home for himself is all well and good. In fact, it's fantastic! He's been needing somewhere more permanent to roost...

But would such a thing be enough to pull Celeste from her home? If anything, this feels like they need to set up a cliched romance novel's plot: heavy rains out of nowhere, to ensure that she'd stay over and not simply scurry home with only a pounding heart...

"It's possible, but not easy," Amaterasu muttered, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. This really could be the time, but the master act they'd have to pull is- "W-Wait!! Susano'o, you're not really-?!?"

...By the kami, the madman ran off. Faint memories of Susano flit through her head; a brother never changes, truly.

By this point, Yami is a welcomed addition.

"Ah, Yami..." She blinked up at him a moment, before slowly sitting down again. "Well... I just wanted to join in the teasing. Scheming is all well and good, but for Susano'o to run off like that..." Ammy sighed, arms crossing as her head tilted in thought. Not quite able to stop the tilt of her head, though. Or the way her brain eventually processed what Yami said.

"Ah, Tsukuyomi stopped him?! For once, his timing is perfect... Celeste is most certainly not equipped to handle Susano'o at his most stubborn." Despite herself, she sighed in relief. "All of this before I can even get halfway through my dinner... The Celestial Plain is bustling to the edges once more."

Just a peek

When one thought of a diary, especially one owned by a shy girl like Steph, one would think of a discreetly hidden notebook, but that was the opposite of Stephanie’s diary. The pink fluffy book was just lying on her nightstand in plain sight, its bright colour and cute embroidered flowers pulling all eyes towards it. At first glance, one wouldn’t be able to tell its a diary, but the garishly girly book looked too interesting to just leave it be there.

The entire thing was very neat and aesthetically pleasing with precise hand-writing and cute little chibi drawings on some of the pages accompanied by little flower stickers. It was clear Stephanie spent a lot of time on all her entries, trying to frame even the saddest of weeks in a cute positive light. Every single entry was writen as if Stephanie was talking to the diary, treating it like a friend, starting off each entry by asking how the diary has been doing.

Flipping through the pages, one entry stood out, the very last one. The entire page was coloured in with pink in marker and adorned with a lot more stickers than usual, it was simply too irresistable to not read.

May 3rd 2021   Dear diary <3 ,

  how have you been since my last entry? Well, I hope! ^_^ I come once more to share my thoughts with you, since there’s no one at the base to listen to my silly little rambles :(  Hope you don’t mind!

It’s been awfully quiet, but that’s nothing new. You already know how much time the new recruits spend outside the base. They’re hard-working for sure! It’s admirable, it just leaves the entire building quiet and rather cold, and with my sisters always out on “ missions“, it leaves me with no one to chat with. I haven’t talked with or even seen Ember for a month now. I miss her... I wish she’d spend more time with me.  (╥﹏╥)

But that’s not what I wanted to talk about! I’m very excited for this month! You know why? IT’S THE MONTH OF LOOOOOVE~ <3 <3 <3 The best time of the year, if you ask me! I’ve already decorated everything I could with healing runes, secured an acceptable amount of chocolate, and prepared a reading list of all my favourite romantic novels -w-

 It’s not all old stories, though! I got a new exciting one to look forward to! The actual tale of how the demigoddess of healing ascended to the Celestial realm! I NEVER KNEW IT WAS A LOVE STORY! AAAAAAA I CAN’T WAIT TO GET INTO IT!  ❤（っ＾▿＾）

Maybe this time I could get someone to celebrate it with me! What’s the point of a celebration of love and friendship when there’s no one to enjoy it with? I’ve spent almost all of these by myself... Still... Even if I find someone, I can’t help but wish I could celebrate it with...well... a romantic partner >///w///<. I know I should lay off the romantic stories, but they’re just so sweet and beautiful! I wanna have something like that myself <3 <3 <3 -////-

It’s all silly fantasies, it would be selfish of me to bring someone into my world (not like someone would want a smurf elf girl anyway) but a girl can dream! Anyway, I still need to check on the new flowers, make sure they’re holding up just fine, so I gotta cut this short! Lots of kisses till next week  (>‿◠)✌

Ok so last night, I told y'all about the other brain worm which was the Shugo Chara x Twisted Wonderland in my brain!

Well the train is still running for this idea!

So picture this:

The NRC 22 have Would Be selves, but a few of them haven't awoken to them. Or for some them, they did, but they broke when they were younger(tho they are reborn thanks to a certain someone heals them and they return to the boys that lost them).

Amu(with her four trusty would be selves) get yeeted to NRC. Typical story shenanigans but with a bit of angst. The concept of the would be selves technically are not a thing in Twisted Wonderland, but I wanted them to be a fun lil thing thay happens after the boys heal/ encounter Amu.

I have a bunch of sketches for many of the ideal Would Be selves for some of the guys.

Tho I might thinking of redesigning some of them. Below are Azul and Leona's Would Be Selves: Caspian and Kion!

I still need to iron out whether to make it a one-shot or just a Creative What If post like the last ;-;

But I'm happy to get some of the idea out! I'm not dropping Twisted Tonelico anytime soon so don't worry! This was another idea i want to share! :)

Mini Edit: I almost forgot!!!! I do know some of the roles for the boys to play more on the Shugo Chara side of things!

Riddle would kinda be like Tadase in terms of having a better amicable relationship to Amu. Still his Rose Tyrant self, but suffers the puppy love crushes of youth XD

For the "Ikuto" role, I was torn between Leona and Malleus cause they both sort of fit it(Leona with the feline thing cause he's a beastmen and Malleus because dude literally likes his anonymity). I'm leaning more on dragon boy but that *might* be subject to change.

Utau is either gonna be an OC role or Sebek. Boy's high praises of his Prince are almost as bad as hers XD

Everyone else is up there as normal as they are in canon atm.

Ok.... I think I've procrastinated enough on this......

I've been think of how to share this, and now is the time. I've been workshopping a fun lil AU for Twisted Wonderland, but with a crossover touch!

This involves my Prefect being from the world of Ar Tonelico, and they are a Reyvateil. A Reyvateil is, as best as I can describe, an artificially made Singer that uses a special type of magic with songs. These songs are sung in a dialect call Hymmnos, and Hymmnos doesn't really exist in the Villain's world. This works well for the Prefect as they can defend themselves(kinda), but they need total concentration with their magic.

Since their magic relies on them singing, Prefect ends becoming a prime target in fights(especially in Overblot situations!) But at least there are those they're friends willing to lend them a hand!

And not only that but there also a few things I want to try for this AU.

How they would try to sustain their lifespan while being in another world?

How is their magic different from the boys magic?

Before I begin on ironing out the leftover kinks of Book 01 for Twisted Tonelico, I'm gonna drop another TfYTU drabble regarding poor little Yumei. At least you have it easy compared to Meryu, buddy/ js

Tho before that drab hits, here's a general basis for what Yumei looks like thanks to this Picrew!

Like I mentioned in the first TfYTU, he's a Third Generation Reyvateil from Sol Ciel. Generally a mellow fellow, his songs may not be as strong as, say Meryu’s, but they do pack a punch. He doesn't have a role in the Twst Tone AU, but I wanted to play with writing a male Reyvateil. And thus, Yumei was born!

Warning Ahead: Spoilers for Ar Tonelico, semi fan servicey designs

As I'm work shopping the Twisted Tonelico AU, I jsu realised I never y'all a chance to know what most Reyvateil would look like design wise... whoops!

While they are quite bizzare and don't sort of fit for a 'Song Maiden' in a fantasy setting, the series is a Science Fiction world. That said, I've been trying to stick close to these, but wound leaning more towards Maiden(Royal like) designs. However, with them being artificial beings, I've been trying to also hopefully incorporate that Sci Fi feel to Prefect's ideal design(or at least one for the AU....)

Next Topic: Song Magic and how it affects the world!!!

As the name implies:

Songs are the main source of Magic in Ar Tonelico. These are used in a more Sci-Fi type of way than the traditional means in Twisted Wonderland.

Songs are made through the Process of a code/ command. These commands allow the Reyvateil to perform their songs in any type of situation they are in. These commands are sung in a unique language know as Hymmnos.

As shown here, THIS is the alphabet language of Hymmnos! It's complicated (trust me, I know), but through trial and error, the people of Ar Tonelico made it work! The Reyvateil in the main trilogy use this as a way to cast their spells, with a bit of a drawback. Most of them lack combat experience, and require a lot of concentration to perform Song Magic. Thus, they need Contractors, people who will fight/ defend them in any circumstance, to act as their shield while they prepare to deal damage to their enemies!

BUT!

Song Magic isn't just used for fighting! These songs can be used in other commands from sealing away rampaging Viruses or other dangerous Reyvateil:

Or creating a new continent with through the wishes of the world:

Some songs can used to placate to the Planet itself, praying for salvation or not to end all life.

However, there IS an even bigger drawback to using Song Magic of the latter caliber. Should the Reyvateil sing it in full, they will basically d!e due to the Song consuming their life-force.

The boys of NRC may scratch their heads at the workings of Song Magic, but I DO wonder how they'll feel if Prefect had to be someone who might share this exact fate? 👀
