Oil sealed rotary vane vacuum pump working principle
A rotary vane vacuum pump (referred to as a rotary vane pump) is an oil-sealed mechanical vacuum pump. Its working pressure range is 101325~1.33×10-2 (Pa), which belongs to the low vacuum pump. It can be used alone or as a backing pump for other high vacuum pumps or ultra-high vacuum pumps. It has been widely used in production and scientific research departments such as metallurgy, machinery, military industry, electronics, chemical industry, light industry, petroleum, and medicine.
The rotary vane pump can pump out the dry gas in the sealed container, and if it is equipped with a gas ballast device, it can also pump out a certain amount of condensable gas. But it is not suitable for pumping gas with high oxygen content, corrosive to metal, and chemical reactions to pump oil and dust particles.
The rotary vane pump is one of the most basic vacuum-obtaining equipment in vacuum technology. Rotary vane pumps are mostly small and medium-sized pumps. There are two types of rotary vane pumps: single-stage and two-stage. The so-called two-stage is to connect two single-stage pumps in a series structure. Generally, it is made into two stages to obtain a higher vacuum degree. The relationship between the pumping speed and the inlet pressure of the rotary vane pump is stipulated as follows: when the inlet pressure is 1333Pa, 1.33Pa, and 1.33×10-1 (Pa), the pumping speed value shall not be lower than 95%, 50% and 20%of the nominal pumping speed of the pump.

The rotary vane pump is mainly composed of the pump body, rotor, rotary vane, end cover, spring, and so on. A rotor is eccentrically installed in the cavity of the rotary vane pump, the outer circle of the rotor is tangent to the inner surface of the pump cavity (there is a small gap between the two), and two rotary vanes with springs are installed in the rotor slot. When rotating, relying on the centrifugal force and the tension of the spring to keep the top of the rotary vane in contact with the inner wall of the pump chamber, the rotation of the rotor drives the rotary vane to slide along the inner wall of the pump chamber.
The two rotating vanes divide the crescent-shaped space surrounded by the rotor, the pump chamber, and the two end covers into three parts A, B, and C, as shown in the figure. When the rotor rotates in the direction of the arrow, the volume of space A communicating with the suction port increases gradually, and it is in the process of suction. And the volume of space C communicating with the exhaust port is gradually reduced, just in the process of exhausting. The volume of space B in the middle is also gradually decreasing, which is in the process of compression. Since the volume of space A gradually increases (that is, expands), the gas pressure decreases, and the external gas pressure at the inlet of the pump is higher than the pressure in space A, so the gas is inhaled.
When space A is isolated from the suction port, it turns to the position of space B, the gas starts to be compressed, the volume gradually decreases, and finally communicates with the exhaust port. When the compressed gas exceeds the exhaust pressure, the exhaust valve is pushed open by the compressed gas, and the gas passes through the oil layer in the tank and is discharged into the atmosphere. The purpose of continuous pumping is achieved by the continuous operation of the pump.
One stage rotary vane vacuum pump working principle 
The single-stage rotary vane pump has only one working chamber, and the pump is mainly composed of a stator, a rotary vane, and a rotor. The rotor is installed eccentrically in the pump chamber, and two rotating vanes are installed in the rotor groove, which is close to the cylinder wall due to the elastic force of the spring (there is also a centrifugal force of the rotating vanes after rotation). The rotor and vanes divide the stator cavity into suction and discharge.

When the rotor rotates in the stator cavity, the volume on the side of the air inlet is gradually expanded periodically to inhale the gas, while the volume on the side of the exhaust port is gradually reduced to compress the inhaled gas and discharge it from the exhaust valve.
The vent valve is immersed in oil to prevent atmospheric air from entering the pump. The vacuum pump oil enters the pump chamber through the oil hole and the exhaust valve so that all the moving surfaces in the pump chamber are covered with oil, forming a seal between the suction chamber and the exhaust chamber.

In order to improve the ultimate vacuum of the pump, in addition to improving the machining accuracy of the pump body, rotor, and rotary vane, and minimizing the assembly gap and harmful space, the most effective way is to connect two single-stage pumps in series to form a two-stage pump.
The pump consists of two working chambers. The two chambers are connected in series and rotate in the same direction at the same speed. A chamber is the front stage of B chamber. A is the low vacuum stage and B is the high vacuum stage. The pumped gas enters the front stage through the high vacuum stage (B ), and is discharged out of the pump through the exhaust valve. The front stage (A) is the same as the single-stage pump, oil enters the pump chamber at any time, while the high vacuum stage (B) only has a small amount of oil when it starts to work, and no oil enters the pump chamber after working for a period of time. When the pump starts to work and the pressure of the inhaled gas is relatively high (such as starting to pump air from atmospheric pressure), the gas is compressed through the B chamber, and the pressure increases sharply, and a part of the compressed gas is directly discharged from the auxiliary exhaust valve (1) , and the other part is discharged through the front stage.

When the pump works for a period of time, when the pressure of the gas inhaled by the B chamber is low, even though it is compressed by the B chamber, the pressure cannot reach above one atmospheric pressure, and the auxiliary exhaust valve 1 cannot be discharged, and all the inhaled gas will enter The front-stage A room is discharged through the exhaust valve 3 through the continuous compression of the A room.

1 Stage vs. 2 Stage Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump
1 stage rotary vane pump consists of a single rotor with multiple vanes that rotates within a cylindrical chamber. As the rotor spins, centrifugal force pushes the vanes against the chamber wall, creating a seal and forming variable-volume chambers. The pumping action occurs through the expansion and compression of gas in these chambers, resulting in the generation of a vacuum.
Simplicity: 1-stage pumps have a straightforward design with fewer moving parts, making them compact, lightweight, and easy to operate and maintain.
Cost-Effective: These pumps are typically more affordable compared to 2-stage pumps, making them a cost-effective option for applications that do not require extremely low vacuum levels.
Suitable for Low to Medium Vacuum: 1-stage pumps are ideal for applications that require vacuum levels within the range of approximately 100 to 1,000 mbar (millibar).
Efficient for Low Gas Loads: They perform well when handling low gas loads, making them suitable for applications where gas flow rates are not excessive.
In a 2 stage rotary vane pump, the pumping process is divided into two sequential stages, each with its own set of vanes. The first stage, known as the high-vacuum stage, operates similarly to a 1 stage pump, creating an initial level of vacuum. The gas discharged from the first stage then flows into the second stage, where further compression occurs, resulting in even lower vacuum levels.
Higher Vacuum Levels: 2 stage pumps are capable of achieving significantly higher vacuum levels compared to 1 stage pumps. They can reach vacuum levels as low as 0.1 mbar or even lower.
Improved Gas Handling: These pumps are effective in handling higher gas loads and can efficiently evacuate larger volumes of gas.
Enhanced Backstreaming Resistance: The two-stage configuration provides better resistance to backstreaming, preventing oil or contaminants from reaching the vacuum chamber or system.

In the dream I was on a luxury cruise like the Titanic and I was getting ready for dinner. Putting on my facial creams and thinking about what to wear. AH was there with my family and getting ready in our suite. She was trying to brush her teeth in the bathroom and I think my brother was there. I could hear from my room that they were trying to fix something broken in there. Something in the bath/toilet. I came in trying to help. She said ‘oh yes maybe a pharmacist can help’. She had a cream coloured broken hand soap dispenser that goes in some some bath thing. The state of it was disgusting. She showed me how it wouldn’t go into it’s slot. We got to talking and she said it has something to do with the inflow and outflow of water and that’s why the bath looked filthy. I noticed a fish had come in through the water inlet. It was a beautiful fish, it looked like the The Rainbow Fish from the children’s book but real. I remember it’s reflective scales. It looked like a sad fish. (Wow, I just looked up the book ‘the book is best known for its message about self-denial’). We must have fished it out of the bath because I remember going into my closet and seeing it there on the floor in a make-shift pond made out of a plastic bag. It was swimming round in circles. I remember feeling so bad that it was stuck in a tiny area in my closet, and how the water in the bag must be awful. I remember the water in the bag was draining away very quickly. The fish was no longer swimming around but was tilting head first toward the centre. It was dying or perhaps already dead. I wanted to pick it up and toss it into the ocean, but I was scared to do it for some reason. I wanted my dad to do it. Interpretation: Vanity, pride as an outer mask. The true beauty you hold inside, that makes you unique and special is hidden away. You do not let others see, that you do not want to set free. It is a type of self-denial. To reject him is to reject yourself. Do not deny that there is something truly beautiful happening here. You are sweeping it under the rug. See how others rejected you today. As you reject him, who is just another version of you, see how the people in your outer reality will reflect this. If you continue to do this, you will be worse off for it.
I had a dream that I was at a train station and trying to get to work or school or something. I felt it was odd because I never take public transport anymore, I always drive. This scene was interwoven with another scene where I was telling my sister that is how I know this is a dream, because that part didn’t make sense. I felt so satisfied with myself that I had figured it out. It felt so real. I felt the dream become less real and more real depending on my focus. I tried to hug SM as we were standing at the undercover section of the station but he didn’t feel real. I felt no energy from him.  Interpretation: Everything is a dream you created, you created SM. He becomes more or less NPC depending on your focus and desire.
I got a message from SB that something was due, I hadn’t even started it. She said I don’t think it’s a deadline but I felt rude handing in more than two pages at a time to be marked. When I went to class and the teacher confirmed that it was due. I started to panic a bit because I hadn’t done it but then I remembered that this is just a dream and that there is no point to feel this way. I believed in this in totality, completely. And then the realness of the dream fell apart and dissolved as soon as I brazenly knew it to be so and then I think I woke up. Interpretation: Any time you feel fear, you are tricking yourself into believing that this is all real. It is not. Remain neutral, remain in the knowing that it is not real, and the fear will dissolve because it just a thought. The truth will present itself as long as you do not fear.

Operation process of vane pumps
The    Vane Pumps    is a positive displacement pump. Its working principle is to use rectangular blades to move back and forth in the groove to move the fluid. They are sometimes referred to as sliding vane pumps.
A simple vane pump includes a circular rotor that rotates in a larger circular cavity. The centers of the two circles are offset, causing eccentricity. The blades are allowed to slide in and out of the rotor and are sealed at all edges to form a blade chamber to complete the pumping work. On the intake side of the pump, the volume of the vane cavity is increasing. These increasing volume vane cavities are filled with fluid driven by inlet pressure. The inlet pressure is actually the pressure from the pumping system, usually just atmospheric pressure. On the discharge side of the pump, the volume of the vane cavity decreases, forcing fluid out of the pump. The function of the blade is to expel the same volume of fluid with each rotation.
Generally, the pump mechanism includes a cylindrical rotor rotating in an asymmetrically shaped housing or cavity. Cylindrical rotors usually have many rectangular slots extending linearly along the outside of the cylinder. As the rotor rotates, the centrifugal force moves the blade outward so that the outer edge of the blade maintains contact with the inner surface of the asymmetrically shaped shell. In some cases, the blade may be tensioned. The asymmetrical shape of the casing allows the blades to move in and out of the slot as the rotor rotates. When the vane moves through the suction port of the pump, a vacuum is created. Vacuum is the reason for drawing fluid into the pump chamber. The fluid then moves between the vanes and is eventually forced out of the pump's discharge port. Like many rotary pumps, the direction of fluid flow can be reversed by reversing the direction of rotation of the pump.

You have no doubt heard of these popular destinations in SE Alaska; Ketchikan, Juneau, Glacier Bay and Sitka? Perhaps you’ve heard of Tracy Arm as well? They are all amazing places and not to be missed when planning a cruise to SE Alaska. But have you heard of Tenakee Springs? Pelican? or Baranof Warm Springs?
We highly recommend you head off the beaten path and explore these unique communities. You can meet the colourful locals at Tenakee Springs and soak naked in the public hot springs; walk the boardwalk in Pelican and watch the sports fishermen haul in huge halibut; and anchor beside a waterfall in Baranof Warm springs and soak your sore muscles in a private tub overlooking the anchorage. In a series of three articles, I’ll take you to these three destinations off the beaten path in SE Alaska. This first article is about Tenakee Springs.
Tenakee Springs
Our friends, Cinda and Fred on Songline from Juneau, told us, “Don’t miss Tenakee Springs. It’s very funky!” Tenakee Springs is a community of about 60 people, who enjoy an alternative lifestyle. There is no cell reception and it is accessed only by ferry, float plane or boat. It lies on the north side of Tenakee Inlet, which is on the west side of Chatham Strait, about 70 nm SW of Juneau. When we left Juneau in mid July, we were headed west out Icy Strait for Sitka. But we decided to make the detour down to Tenakee Springs to check it out. We stopped at Pavlov Harbor in Freshwater Bay, a popular spot to observe bears catching salmon in the waterfall in August. We were lucky to see two bears on the beach as we raised the anchor, but it was too early for salmon in the stream.
We saw whale spouts in the distance as we headed south down Chatham Strait. As we rounded the point into Tenakee Inlet, we were treated to an hour or more of humpback whales bubble-net feeding. This behaviour of humpback whales is unique to Alaska. The whales gather together in a circle under the water, surround a school of fish and blow bubbles, causing the fish to flee. The fish are surrounded by the whales, which surface all together with their huge mouths open and gulp down the fish. It’s an amazing sight to see, often a dozen whales surfacing all together.
We spotted many colourful houses on stilts as we approached the Tenakee harbour. There is a small marina, so we tied up at the dock after contacting the harbour master on VHF 16. We learned from a local couple living on a boat in the harbour that payment is by the honour system. Simply put your money in an envelope and push it through the slot at the top of the dock. It was a short 10 minute walk into town. A dirt road runs behind the houses on stilts. Norm took photos of the eclectic homes as we walked the length of the road and back. Some were run down with a multitude of fishing floats adorning the porches and yards. Others were very upscale; modern recreational homes for people from Seattle. Many had beautiful vegetable gardens for sustenance living.
The ferry had just arrived, so there was a handful of people congregating by the bakery. A local woman asked us, “Did you just get off the ferry?” We replied that we were on our own boat moored in the harbour. “Watch out for the bears!” she cautioned. “There was one spotted by the harbour and one at the other end of the road this morning!” Great, we thought! Well, at least we had our bear spray with us!
The bakery had a sign in the window, “Pizza Night, Sat. Night”. It was Saturday so we thought we would treat ourselves to pizza. But first we needed to check out the public bath house. Tenakee Springs is best known for its hot springs. The spring flows into a concrete bath at 107 degrees F. The change rooms in the building have recently been renovated, and are a source of pride for the locals. Bath hours, separate for men and women, are posted. It’s free, but there is one condition: you must bathe naked! Norm took his turn during the men’s hour while I waited outside the museum, watching the locals drive to and from the store in the village on their ATV’s. One very large man had his dog on his lap on the ATV!
We enjoyed our pizza at the bakery and then it was my turn for a bath.
As I approached the bath house a woman said, “There’s a man still in there!” So I thought it would be prudent to wait. A local woman approached and asked why we were waiting. When she was informed about the man being in the bath house during women’s hours, she proceeded to storm in and give him what for! He came out with his tail between his legs, half dressed! I was then free to enjoy my bath with two other local women, who used the time as a social opportunity to gossip and catch up with each other. The hot water felt heavenly and the nakedness seemed perfectly normal in this situation.
On our way back to the boat, we passed a very cute little building that housed a free book exchange. I perused the titles but decided I had enough unread books on the boat. Luckily we didn’t meet any bears along the road, but we we did have quite a few encounters with interesting locals in this colourful community in SE Alaska!

♤: Taking a bath together
They’re too close to his old home. New Orleans had been his stomping grounds as a young man, before the war snatched him up and made him into something twisted and broken. 
He’s jittery at the proximity, even though they’re skirting the city itself. Vasquez has had too many close calls, they’re keeping to small towns and places without dedicated law men. 
The camp is quiet the way it only gets in the dark of night, Jack’s snores punctuating the silence of the open sky. It’s Billy’s watch, and that arched brow says more than a thousand words ever could. 
Goodnight cants his head to the south, the sound of the river’s inlet a quiet hush behind them. Billy’s expression doesn’t move at all, and after a terrible long moment, it’s a little nod. 
Distraction is a relief. 
He stands, moving across the camp on quiet feet to hook fingers in the collar of Faraday’s shirt and yank him awake. Vasquez cracks an eye and Goodnight mouths bath and the Irishman’s guard dog allows it, going back to sleep. 
They can’t wash their clothes tonight, they don’t have the sunshine to dry them out on the rocks. But they can at least dip in the river with the chunk of lye soap Goodnight keeps packed up neat in his saddle bag. 
And Lord knows Faraday needs it. 
He’s pliant in a sleepy way until he sees Goodnight peeling off his shirt, and going for his pants. Then those eyes are wide, glancing back towards the camp. Back towards where Billy is still sitting in front of the fire. 
“It’s a bath, son. It’s not a firing squad. Come on.”
He strips with purpose, the water a pleasant shock against the sweaty heat of the night. The air is heavy with wet heat around these parts, and there’s no escaping it, not even in the dead of night. 
Faraday mumbles something, presumably about not needing a bath, but he tosses his clothes in a pile beneath the nearest tree and pads into the water, unabashed at his nakedness, and hissing at the cold. 
It takes one hand against the back of his head to dunk him, and Faraday comes up sputtering, somewhere between a laugh and indignation, shaking the water out of his face. 
Goody’s descent beneath the water is smoother, more controlled. He stands, slicking the hair away from his face with both hands, and gets an eyeful of Faraday watching him.  
There’s a lick of heat in his belly that there’s no denying. 
“I thought maybe you could help me out. You being the world’s greatest lover and all.” He says it in such a way that it’s not a taunt, just an accepted fact. He’s always been good at politely skirting the truth. 
Faraday’s brows shoot up again, hands out in front of him and eyes darting back towards the camp. He’ll have to tell Billy just how much their young friend assumed he was going to wind up with a hairpin in his eye for a thought alone. 
“You’ve been with a man, haven’t you? I wouldn’t imagine someone could have the title of the world’s greatest without following all avenues of study.” Goodnight stalks forward as he speaks, Faraday like a deer in the headlights. 
It won’t last long. He’s whip smart and caught off guard, he’ll realize where this is going soon enough. Goody only needs the advantage until then. He can talk his way through the rest of it. 
“You haven’t? That’s a shame. It can be quite the experience, if you don’t mind me airing my dirty laundry.” His smile changes him, it takes a few years off of him. In the moonlight, his grey hairs look silver. 
Beneath the water, fingertips drag their way up along Faraday’s thigh, and he jerks backwards like a trout flopping in the water. Listen he says I don’t know what you think you’re doing, but-
“I’m offering a lesson in seduction, son. I’m not seducing you.” This smile is a little more affectionate. A little more honest. “We both know where my heart is. And this has nothing to do with that.”
Goodnight knows he can’t just speak his intentions. He can’t say you’re a good man, but you’re a foolish one, and you need some help if you’re going to win that Mexican over. 
“You don’t even have to look at me, if you’re uncomfortable. All you need to do is listen, and pay attention.” Faraday is watching him warily, but when Goodnight puts hands on his shoulders and turns him gently, slotting against his back, the other man doesn’t move.
“You see, it’s not like it is with women. Though you can use all of that charm of yours to your advantage. Teasing is less about light touches-” Fingers feathering their way along the hollow of Faraday’s hip. “-and more about lingering touches.” Those fingertips smooth out into a heavy palm that drags along that same hollow, building friction before he pulls away. 
That hitch of breath is all he needs. “You’ll have to forgive me. I’m just a man, after all.” And proof of that is nestled against Faraday’s lower back, and showing interest. 
“For a man like you, your greatest weapon is your words.” Beneath the rush of the river, his hand splays low on Faraday’s belly, low enough to be intrusive, to be intimate, but never quite touching where he’s wanted. 
Faraday’s huff of laughter is choked off at the end. “But it’s a matter of keeping your thoughts to yourself. I’d suppose you’d want to make jokes. Make light of it. Got to make sure no one knows you care, don’t you?”
Right as that argument builds on a clever tongue, Goodnight circles a hand around Faraday’s cock and squeezes, robbing him of every thought in his head. 
“A little misdirection does wonders, don’t you think?” His voice is gravel against the other man’s ear, his strokes leisurely. “You’re damned good at it. No reason you can’t put it to use when it comes to lovemaking.”
His hips rock just so, but Goodnight stills them by digging his toes into the silt and gravel of the riverbed. 
“And just between you and me...I’ve always enjoyed getting them real close to the edge. It makes you look like you’re a generous lover. But for me...” There’s a lilt to his voice, an edge to it that doesn’t see the light of day as much. “It’s about teasing myself more’n it’s about teasing them. The control. Having somebody in the palm of your hand. Literally.”
A long, slow stroke and his thumb skates across the head of his cock, over the slit and Faraday shivers like leaves in the breeze against him. It’s intoxicating. 
“Knowing that they’re so close that they can taste it, that they’re standing on their toes, thighs straining...” And Faraday is a model student, breathing hard and cursing, arching up into his touch with a greed that makes Goodnight’s blood boil in the best way. 
“They need you in that moment. Can’t live without you. And my, how they whimper when you remind them of that.”
His grip releases, and there’s that sound on cue. Goodnight steps around to face him, and sees that gaze skitter over him and settle over his shoulder. Faraday is flushed a very pretty pink, and trying admirably not to look him in the eye. 
That’s alright. 
“That’s all I’ve got to teach you, I suppose.” Faraday’s incredulous ‘what?’ is almost loud enough to carry back to the camp. 
Goodnight smiles, and it’s all teeth as he kneels in the river, sinking beneath the cold, rushing water to take the young man in his mouth, deep and hard and with all the suction he’s got, fingertips digging bruises into his buttocks. 
Above the water, he imagines there must be some kind of sound, but he can’t hear it. But that doesn’t mean he can’t feel the frantic jerk of hips and then salt spilling over his tongue and down his throat. 
Goody waits out the aftershocks, white spots behind his eyes and a tightness in his chest telling him to breath. He holds until Faraday is soft and shuddering in his mouth and then releases him, standing and pulling in a long breath, the back of his hand wiping his mouth clean. 
“You did good, son. You’re a quick study.”
A hand clamped on Faraday’s shoulder and then he’s clambering out of the river, and heading for his clothes without so much as a backwards glance.

The Imagineering story is that "as the tech industry began to emerge and the local fishing trade fell on hard times, entrepreneurs came together to reinvent the seaside canneries into a vibrant, multicultural district of neighborhood restaurants and small businesses where you’ll be able to eat and shop." Or Disney just wanted to shove more IP into DCA. Design and implementation of weighing control instrument for Raymond Mill feeder
The development of Raymond Mill in talc and other powder industries will be mainly in the direction of high reliability, energy saving, precision, automatic working condition monitoring and automatic control. It can adopt SCR power supply, AC frequency conversion speed regulation, grease centralized lubrication, shock absorption and other measures, and face mask machine has working condition monitoring and microcomputer automatic control of Raymond mill. In this paper, in order to ensure the quality of talcum mill and improve the production efficiency, an automatic feeding control system based on PID algorithm is designed. The product realizes the uniform supply of materials, so as to make the mill in the best load operation, prevent the blocking and idling phenomenon, reduce the mill failure and improve the quality of grinding powder This paper mainly introduces the working principle of Raymond mill and discusses the detailed design method in the automatic feeding control design process of Raymond mill and the matters needing attention in the actual design; the product development results have been put into use, and the operation is simple, the function is complete and the performance is  reliable, which has been widely praised by users.
The working principle of Raymond mill is composed of main engine, classifier, blower, bucket elevator, electromagnetic vibration feeder, storage hopper, jaw crusher, pipeline system and electric control cabinet. The working principle block diagram is shown in Figure 1.
The starting of Raymond mill must be carried out according to the following steps:
(1) start the hoist;
(2) start the crusher, and the material can be crushed after starting,(3) start the classifier and adjust it to the required speed according to the product fineness;
(4) start the blower and open the air inlet valve after starting;
(5) start the main engine, in order to make the grinding roller and ring wear less and avoid excessive vibration of the machine, the idling time of the main engine should not be too long, that is, no more than 2 minute. In order to avoid excessive loading of the main engine, excessive materials are not allowed in the main engine during starting;
(6) start the vibration feeder and adjust the amplitude as required;
the sequence of shutdown is to stop feeding, then stop the main engine, fan and finally stop the classifier. In order to ensure the normal operation of Raymond mill, reduce mill failure and improve the quality of grinding powder, Raymond mill must be started in accordance with the above sequence, and the mill load should be monitored at any time to prevent blocking and idling.
2. The design and implementation of automatic feeding control
2.1 design scheme
in order to realize automatic feeding of Raymond mill, the first work to be completed is to detect the working load of the mill in real time, and automatically increase or decrease the feeding according to the load through the microcomputer processing and analysis control. The main machine current or fan current of Raymond mill can be used to reflect the mill load. After practical investigation, the following conclusions can be obtained: 1) the range of main machine current conversion is very large, and the current jitter at the working point is very large, which can not accurately reflect the working load of the mill. ② The range of fan current conversion is also comparedHowever, at that time, the fan current was very sensitive when the main engine was loaded. Once the main engine was overloaded, the fan current would quickly drop (Note: the fan current changes in the opposite direction with the load). Therefore, in order to achieve more accurate automatic feeding, this design uses the fan current as the input signal, and uses the mature PID control algorithm to drive the feeder, forming a complete closed-loop system, as shown in Figure 2.
2.2 fan current sampling
the dynamic range of fan current of Raymond fan is 0-150a, and the change of fan indirectly reflects the load of main engine. In order to ensure accurate response to the load of the main engine, the sampling circuit should ensure that the current of 2A can be identified by the sampling circuit. Therefore, the fan current designed should not only ensure a large dynamic range of current, but also ensure a high detection sensitivity. In view of the above requirements, AC sampling method is adopted. The current (0-5A) of fan current secondary coil is taken, and then the current value is sampled by compact current transformer. In order to facilitate the acquisition of current by single chip microcomputer, the output bipolar AC signal of current transformer is added with a certain bias, and then it is collected by ad to the internal of single chip microcomputer. In order to detect the effective value of the current, this design realizes a software peak value protector in the MCU, collects the signal greater than one cycle, finds out the maximum value after a collection, converts the maximum value into the effective value, and finally converts it into the fan current value according to a certain proportion. front endThe acquisition circuit is shown in Figure 3. The acquisition scheme is tested and verified on the actual product, which can identify the current of 1a and meet the design requirements.
2.3 output execution unit design
(1) the principle of vibration feeder
the current of electromagnetic coil of feeder is rectified by single-phase half wave. When the coil is connected, there is a pulse electromagnetic force between the armature and the iron core, which attracts each other, and the tank moves backward, The main spring of the exciter deforms and stores a certain potential energy. There is no current passing through the negative half circle coil, and the electromagnetic force disappears. The main spring releases energy and makes the armature and iron core move forward from the slot body in the opposite direction. Therefore, the electromagnetic vibration feeder vibrates 3000 times per minute at the frequency of AC power supply, Because of the angle between the bottom plane of the tank and the action line of the exciting force, the material in the tank moves forward continuously along the trajectory of the parabola. The feeding quantity of electromagnetic vibration feeder can be controlled by adjusting the rectifier voltage. The feeder is powered by silicon controlled rectifier. The output voltage can be controlled by changing the conduction angle of thyristor. According to the use conditions, different signals can be used to control the size of the thyristor conduction angle to achieve the purpose of automatic quantitative feeding.
(2) Vibration feeder drive design
this part of the design is mainly to use SCM resources to achieve phase modulation function, so as to drive the unidirectional silicon controlled rectifier voltage to control the vibration feeder. In the design, the external part of a single chip is usedThe interrupt port captures the AC zero crossing point, and then turns on the phase-shifting timer. The initial value of the timer is converted into the phase-shifting angle of thyristor. Changing the initial value of the timer can realize the phase-shifting of any value. The output controller signal is isolated by optocoupler and added to the control pole of SCR.
(3) The design of controller software includes AD acquisition control, output control unit, display unit, user key control unit and PID control algorithm. The operation flow chart of the controller software is shown in Figure 4. After power on, the program detects whether the key is pressed. The user can set the working current value, and then collect the primary current value. When the PID control time is up, the PID algorithm is executed to update the output value. External interrupt service program is mainly used to detect AC zero crossing and realize phase modulation function.
3 conclusion
this paper analyzes the working principle of Raymond mill and vibration feeder, and elaborates the design scheme of weighing control instrument of feeder, as well as the key technology of controller. The automatic feeding controller designed in this paper has been put into production. Its operation is simple, its function is complete, and its performance is stable. It has been widely praised by users.

By Design: McLaren Speedtail Styling Analysis
The McLaren Speedtail is an astonishing accomplishment, a truly luxurious road car that could presumably be driven from Chicago to Bonneville, run on the salt, qualify for the 200-MPH Club, then motor on to San Francisco—all in the same state of tune and on the same Pirelli tires. That’s not just impressive. It’s almost miraculous—and entirely believable.
Of course, there is one critical thing that will prevent such an adventure from occurring: The Speedtail’s reasonable but unorthodox three-seat configuration precludes it from being sold here for anything but exhibition purposes. Still, Americans have already secured many of the 106 examples McLaren plans to build from 2020 onward, so perhaps we’ll see one someday. If you ever do, you’ll likely never forget the occasion. It’s a memorably spectacular car, with most of its forms inspired by human, animal, and piscine morphology. (Read more with McLaren’s design director, Rob Melville.)
At the same time, this is a highly technical vehicle, featuring complex internal ducting for various streams of air flowing into and through the body. One of the cleverest aerodynamic tricks is covering the exposed front wheels so that air is not ejected sideways but is instead captured and directed along the body—inside and out. I find the visual contrast between the covered front wheels and the bare casting of the rear ones slightly shocking. The effect is a bit like seeing a badly maintained beater with one of its plastic wheel covers off. If I were to suddenly have funding for a Speedtail (and were one available), I’d attach a plain, thin disc to the rear wheel rim, rotating with the wheel—no ducting as there is in front, just a fairing.
But that’s the only thing I might want to change, given that the total composition is so well balanced and cohesive. McLaren published no drag coefficient figures, but the number must be quite low for the car to be able to attain the Speedtail’s anticipated 250-mph top speed. The key to that capability lies in the extended rear body with its long overhang. Forty-six years ago, I worked on a little city car in a wind tunnel. As an exercise, I appended a smoothly tapered 6-foot tail on the specified 11-foot body and ran a series of tests, chopping off 6 inches or so for each successive run. With that ridiculous appendage, the Cd was around 0.16. With each cut, the coefficient rose, and when I got back to the specified length, I’d managed to achieve a 0.203 Cd, exceptional for so small a car. So body length really matters a lot, aesthetically and technically.
1.  What you can’t see here, because it’s fitted so tightly, is the left-hand aileron that has no turbulence-inducing, leading-edge surface break. It and the symmetrically opposite aileron only shed vortices at their outer corners.
2. A dramatic rib with concave surfaces on both sides rises from the roof bubble’s sill line at the back of the door.
3. Induction air for the engine comes from this flush duct on the back of the roof, split by the long, elegant CHMSL.
4. The longest single line on the Speedtail, this curve defines the character of the total form.
5. The upper bubble flattens a bit and allows the door glass to be more vertical than it would be in a true raindrop shape.
6. Air is channeled into the main radiators just behind the doors in the body flanks.
7. The aperture at the base of the windshield insulates the wiper and mechanism from the oncoming airflow. It’s not a new idea, but it’s always an excellent one.
8. The front fender form is hard toward the rear and softer, flatter, and wider toward the front.
9. Rear-vision cameras are mounted far forward in the doors, protrude when the engine is running, and retract when the car is in Velocity mode, when the body lowers by 1.4 inches on the suspension.
10. Air from the low-temperature radiators in the front is extracted through these vents in the doors.
11. The car pinches inward at about half the wheelbase, but a strong, crisp horizontal line runs the entire length between front and rear wheelhouses
12. A fine piece of surface work, this hard line disappears into the surface just before the wheel opening but links visually with the disappearing line from the upper edge of the side air outlet.
13. There’s a huge mass of extremely hot air behind the passenger compartment. Most of it is extracted at the rear, and these tall finlike panels direct it slightly inward to reduce the wake signature.
14. A carbon-fiber diffuser molding at the bottom of the rear body provides downforce, which is modulated as required for stability in fast running and under braking.
15. For once on a supercar, a sensible license plate mounting area is provided without it being an eyesore, thankfully.
1. Flowing outward and upward from the center of the nose, the surface folds over to establish a muscular front fender profile.
2. The tail of the lower front fin sweeps around the corner with a sharply defined horizontal break line.
3. The carbon-fiber baseplate emphasizes the horizontality of the lower part of the Speedtail.
4. I particularly like this little triangular inset section between the hard line along the sill and the disappearing edge of the frontal air outlet, all beautifully modeled.
5. The retracted rearview camera lens cover is shaped to repeat the whole body side profile and serves to initiate the superb sweeping rear fender profile line.
1. It’s very subtle, but the last part of the upper tail turns up just a bit from the downward-sloping surface of the rear body.
2. This curve, starting at the aperture for the retracting rear-view camera, is a splendid gestural sweep that evokes long, muscular shapes in felines or humans.
3. The upper part of the windshield is electrochromic glass that can darken electronically, thereby eliminating the clumsiness (and weight) of sun visors.
4. The near half-round curve of the windshield baseline in plan view is even more extreme than that of the Lancia Stratos, thanks to the central positioning of the Speedtail driver.
5. Slim headlamps are tucked under the upper lip of the front corner inlets, considerably smaller than those of McLaren’s 570S, just vertical slots at the outer edges.
6. Yes, there is a front lid for access to one of the luggage spaces.
7. Very slightly pointed, the nose is almost exactly a half circle in plan view so the whole front end mimics a modulated drop of water, with only a little more fluid dynamic resistance than that ideal shape.
8. The carbon-fiber baseplate has a slight plan-view joggle where fins below the side air inlets move outward from the base circle.
9. A vertical splitter fin joins the baseplate and the painted body section, diverting incoming air toward the lower outer brake cooling inlets.
10. This anhedral fin gives some side-view substance to the painted part of the body and directs air toward the static surface of the front wheels …
11. … which clash visually with the uncovered 21-inch, 10-spoke forged rear wheels, handsome as they are. And a few ounces are saved.
12. From its thinnest depth at about the middle of the doors, the painted skin swells downward to fair the rear tires.
1. The left-hand rearview screen is directed to the driver’s eye point.
