I was playing around with Claire's design for my OCgram thing.

Ultimately, the only thing I added was a pair of straps that wrap around the hips and emulate princess gowns. I tried to make the X look more like a shawl on a baro't saya (more about that below), but it ended up looking pretty much the same except that it goes higher on the arms.

Free her! She didn't do anything illegal (yet)!

I mean, she's my second-favorite punching bag, and she absolutely does illegal stuff later in life, but she didn't do anything illegal at 14!

Here are some other designs I played with.

Princess - Meant to emulate Princess Peach and Daisy, but I couldn't make the sleeves poofy. The center of the X is closer to the chest to emulate the gem. I ended up keeping the straps near the hips. Baro't saya - Since people compared Yuno's outfit to a kimono and Claire is visually similar to Yuno, I tried to emulate a traditional Filipino garment. At first I was thinking "the one with the poofy sleeves". Then I did an image search and found three types of baro't saya (because it literally means blouse and skirt). So that's an amalgamation of them. I did not like the poofy sleeves. Too top-heavy. I briefly considered the angled strap on the skirt, but nah. Hanbok - I am not Korean. Claire is... well, at least the fictional world counterpart. So I tried emulating the hanbok and... it looks almost the same as her original design except the waist is higher.

The last design I drew before I linked it was almost the same as the first, except the tag hangs off the hip strap rather than the waist.
