This marvelous fic is the last one of the series (and the only to actually come out on elriel month! lol) but not the least important. To the lovely @danydragons21  my much appreciatate thank you for birthing TSTS, THIS IS MY JAAAAAM! I started this one on AO3 before even having an acount (not that my account added to much, because i’m a tumblr hoe now xD)  This is one of those fics that caught my attention because of the name, and boy let me tell you, its worth every second I have spent obsessing about it! I can’t get enough of this plot, and elriel, and training, and her growth! There are two scenes that live in my head rent free:

“If only you had a necklace to seduce me with this time,” she whispered. 

“It’s alright, Cassian. Az just always wants what he can’t have. But he’s used to that, isn’t he?”

I mean, you karate-chopped my heart out of my chest with this one, and I loved it!!!! Do I even have to say anything more? I think not! I love your writing ❤ Can’t wait to see where you take us next ❤ Let’s goooo!

ps: the elriel make out session left me with no choice but to let it pile up, i can only have my heart stepped on for a certain amount, i need to have an emotional-support-pile a my disposal, maybe 3 or 4 chapters to binge, help meeeeee 😩

Listen, if you want to know how good of a banger this is, just know that I had to stop and let it pile up because I simple COULDN'T TAKE THE CLIFF HANGERS!!! @rhysanoodle​ tried to killed me several times!!! I wanted to consume this fic entirely like an addicted storming through the last 100 pages of a good book at 4 a.m knowing damn well that she has to work in the morning! But have no doubt that you'll love to be torture by our precious rhysanoodles. She can wet your imaginary panties and spike your very real blood pressure, rest assured of that! Your Voice in Autumn (Not Everything Sounds Like Something)

I chose ACT II to express a little bit of my love to one of our amazing elriel writers, @thefangirlofhp. 

I have absolutely loved this fanfiction, and re-read a lot of times. The poetic undertones surrounding Elain’s journey through her new life and how she and Azriel became close during this ordeal is simple majestic. The utter care with displaying the soft sides, the suffering, the self-doubt, the struggle with depression, finding love in friends and family, finding a voice in music, finding your place in the word, everything is craft in a way that a little seed blooms in your heart. I cried, I laughed, I thought about life, I giggle with elriel being cute, I did it all. The stolen moment of comfort, late night in Elain’s room (and what happens afterwards) was one of my favorites, hence me putting one of my favorite quotes in here;

She wonders if this is how they will be; slipping into an intimacy there is no recovery from. Naturally, and without a word.

This sums up your Elriel version perfectly well, thank you for everything so far, it’s been a lovely ride, you’ve stunned me!!!

If we are talking about elriel fics, we are talking about the awesome @nikethestatue and her amazing works, amongst them, one of my all time favorites, Of Fawns and Shadows  (this set also includes the prequels) OFAS is the one to cure your tired eyes form reading bs about Az and Elain not being able to be/have a family. Guess what? They are, and they do! With every chapter we learn a little more about Az feelings and Elain’s life, her kids, her powers, her strenght, and fall in love with them all over again. I also love your little fix-it-yourself moments were you correct and add to the lore. All your fics are bangers, but this one has a especial place in my ❤
