So I have ADHD to the point it's gotten hard to read physical novels. My friend and I have been listening to the audiobook versions of Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica, and there isn't one for Dragons of Winter. As a result, we're going to record a chapter each, alternating as we go, and send the audio to each other. I bought the hardcover online and:

Mr. B. Tummeler is the father of Uncas and the grandfather of Fred, and he lives on Paralon. He is a renowned foodie, playwright and publisher. He also compiled the Library of Alexandria into one volume.

Can’t recall if Poe has been brought up in the Amelia Project (save his work being referenced) as a previous client and don’t know if he’ll be brought up later (nearly through season four)…but now imaging CotIG Hawthorne and Poe getting the Amelia Project (though I suppose this would be prior to that name) to fake Poe’s death. I wonder what the Interview thinks about Pistachios…

First impression

Henry: He was annoying for the first few episodes, but once I got used to him I grew attached.

Charles: I first read the books back in 2017, so I don't particularly remember what i first thought of him, tbh. Impression now

They're both my favourite characters from their respective series (although Henry is tied with August and Belle), so I don't think my opinions have changed at all. Favourite moment

Henry: I really like the ending of season four when he becomes the author, and all of his interactions with August in season one. (Obviously, I have to have a brand.)

Charles: These aren't favourites; more scenes that spring to mind when I think of Charles. So, I really like it when he returns at the end of book 4 (?), that's a good scene. Also the one where he gets the tattoo of the map (?), and when the satyrs break his toes with a box in book one.

Idea for a story

Henry: I'd like to see what Henry's life would be like post canon. How would he adjust to what happened with the realms being combined, and how would he finally get used to settling down with his wife and child? Also, I would really like Henry to learn magic (particularly if post canon he'd have to send people back to their original realms.)

Charles: n/a Unpopular opinion

I don't have any either for either of them, I don't think? Favourite relationship

Henry: First off, Emma and Henry as they're the core of the show. Then, his relationship with Ella and Lucy. Yeah, season seven wasn't the best, but they're definitely one of the best parts.

Charles: His one with Tummeller as well as his relationship John and Jack. Favourite headcanon

I'm not really one for headcanons, but I feel like Charles carries around blueberry muffins and Henry often can't sleep unless he has a notebook next to his bed.

(Or is the Charles muffin thing canon? I don't remember.)

I may be the one of the 5 people in the universe that read Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica as a child and well. The quote (idk how its in the original cuz I read them in my native lang) of [ “Here be dragons” on a map isn’t a word of warning or a threat, they’re a word of reassurement and comfort] has stuck with me for years. I remember as a 10 yo I could barely comprehend what was going on in books 3-5 but the vibes of this series.. maaaaan

In all fairness, if we're really discussing first lines, well – while I second all (or most) those well-beloved and famous ones, I do want to mention the first line of Here, There Be Dragons as an excellent line to start a series:
