Summary: The three friends sneaking into Foxfire after hours together. They find out about the og 5’s banishment while doing so. We get to see their personas and a little insight into their lives:

"It's not that dangerous." Dawn whispers to her worried friend. "Stop bitting your nails, Charri." Dawn pulls her friend's hand back.

"How do you feel about breaking the rules. What if the council finds out?" Charri turns to start pacing but the brunette boy beside her stops her.

"Charri, just breath." Adalin grabs her shoulders.

"Like you know anything about being like me, Adalin Bellara! Your a perfect telepath with the best ability. I'm just some guster girl!" Charri pushes him back.

“Your not just some girl!” Adalin argues back, clear on his face that he doesn’t want Charri talking bad about herself.

"Let's just go." Dawn grabs their arms as she drags them towards the building. Problem is, Charri is the only one that knows how to pick a lock and get in.

"At least check the place for thoughts." Charri twists her ginger hair around her finger.

"Was going to anyways!" Adalin argues.

"Both of you shut up or we will get caught." Dawn whisper shouts.

Silence surrounds the friends as Charri pulls out her hair pin. Starting on the lock as Dawn flashes light to help her see.

*Thanks." Charri whispers as she jams the hairpin in the lock. Slamming her body against the door.

The door swings open to the Foxfire amphitheater. Posters everywhere for clubs and important news.

"Let's go!" Adalin pounds his fist in the air as the three friends walk in. The high ceilings above them. Dawn quickly turns to close the door, lowering suspicion.

"Wanna look at the news." Charri says as she makes her way over to the pin up board. "Light." She snaps her fingers in Dawn's face.

"Right." Dawn lights up the pin up board as the three surround it. Curious faces.

Sophie Foster, Fitz Vacker, Biana Vacker, Keefe Sencen and Dex Dizznne banished from the lost cities.

The actions that caused this are disclosed for family safety and their own. Their actions are irreversible.

“That can’t be right, Dex and Sophie are Dawn’s cousin’s best friends.” Adalin mutters, snapping Charri and Dawn out if their trances.

“Marella surly wouldn’t become friends with these horrible people.” Dawn stars to ball her hands into fists.

“Dawn, keep calm.” Charri pulls her best friend into a hug, wrapping her wraps around her. Dawn’s tears running down her face, into Charri’s tunic. Dawn twists her fingers into a not in the back of Charri’s tunic.

The light goes out as Adalin keeps squinting at the posters. Mumbled cried coming from Dawn and small whispers of encouragement from Charri.

“Let’s just keep exploring.” Dawn pulls back from Charri. Her blonde hair tumbling down her shoulders. Tears streaked in Charri’s ginger hair.

“Agreed.” Charri and Adalin say at the same time.

“Time to go have some fun!” Dawn garbs their wrists as she starts to drag them down the hall. The three ready for an adventure.

I walk into ability detecting with my new friend Charri. She wraps her arms around her book bag. Knowing she will be gone my elite levels.

“I hate this.” Charri mutters.

“Don’t we all.” I sigh as other students flood in behind us. It seems to be set up to see if we are gusters.

“This is pointless, why did my family even push for me to be in Foxfire.” Charri complains as we walk up the stairs to our usual seats.

“Have some faith.” I smile as we sit down with our legs crossed. A boy sitting on the other side of Charri. Brown hair and dark piercing eyes.

“Yeah, have some faith in yourself.” The boy chimes in.

“Who are you.” Charri rolls her eyes as she squashes her bag between her and the boy.

“I’m Adalin.” He stretches out his hand for a hand shake.

“Dawn, that is Charri.” I speak for her, knowing she isn’t going to speak. Also leaning around to shake his hand.

“Dawn, shut up.” Charri glares at me. She has this death glare and it’s honestly scary.

“I’ll start the wave of wind for testing if any of us are Gusters.” The mentor speaks up. A switch flicked as the wind starts. “The wind will be blowing in one direction so we will know if the wind changes.”

I watch as Charri starts to wrap her cape around herself. “Dawn.” She fans out one side so we can share the cape, using each other’s body heat.

“Thanks.” I lean into her as I grab the side of the cape, wrapping it around my side.

“What are they lesbians?” “Couldn’t dare to share my cape.” “Ha losers those two girls.” “The ginger is blushing.” I start to hear whispers from other students. It feels as if all eyes on are on.

“And you guys aren’t cold? Couldn’t be me.” Adalin speaks up for us.

“Thank you.” I take a guess that I said it. But it doesn’t sound my my voice. Turning my head to see Charri smiling at him.

“Your welcome, Charri.” Her name slips off his tongue.

“It it getting like really cold for anyone else? Like a sorta eerie cold?” Charri questions both of us.

“Nope.” I shrug. “Not for me.” Adalin says at the same time as me.

“This is weird.” Charri mutters. I reach down to my bag that is sitting on the floor in front of me.

“Where are my prattles.” I whisper under my breath. A few moments later pulling out a box. I snap it open as I take out one.

“Dawn Redek, no food!” The mentor shouts at me.

“Fine!” I argue back dropping the box back into my bag.

“Anyone feel as if the wind is like circulating?” Charri asks as she swats her hand through the wind.

“No.” I say. “Oh it so getting stronger.” I tuck my knees into my chest.

The wind starts to go around, clearly a guster is somewhere. I look to Charri, the wind circulating around her.

“Charri, I think your a guster.” I point out as I garb her hands. The wild wind spinning around us.

“Someone, stop it!” Charri shouts as her body half fades into the wind as I have seen gusters do.

“Are you okay?” Adalin asks, everyone’s heads turning towards us.

“I feel dizzy.” Charri mutters as she starts to fall back away from me. Leaning back towards Adalin without realising it. I can see her eyes fog up as the wind slows down around us. The mentor turning it off.

“You got this Charri, just stay strong.” I whisper to myself as she falls back into Adalin’s arms, blacking out. “Healing centre.” I say to him.

“Yep.” He stands up, picking Charri up bridal style as we sprint out the room, not caring about the mentor.

We sprint down the halls, time feeling as if it is stopping. Sure this won’t be the last time we sprint down these halls together. I just have a good feeling we are going to be stuck with Adalin for some time. Maybe forever time.

Charri has round glasses that she can not see shit without. Dawn has broken them multiple times and Charri’s mum is always pissed

Not a soul knows where Charri’s dad is. Not even Charri’s mother. But he is probably the reason Charri has an ability after her family being talentless for centuries

When Adalin first invited Dawn and Charri over to his house his dad hated the girls. He soon learned to hate Dawn but love Charri and her sense of responsibility

Dawn has a collection of pins she has pinned to her messenger bag. Charri and Marella gave her all these pins over the years

Adalin is so clumsy. Charri has given up and literally carried him bridal style through the halls once. Adalin was a flushing mess afterwards

Dawn has been manifesting with full on crystals and witchcraft stuff desperately trying to get Adalin and Charri together

Adalin definitely fell when they first meet. Charri only started to like him after their first kiss. His excuse for the kiss was “he needed to learn how to kiss just in case”

Charri smells like cherries. Adalin claims that her lips taste like cherries too. Dawn refuses to believe it

Dawn is a lovesick lesbian. When she first started liking this girl Charri could tell instantly. Adalin was too blind to notice. She always has been a chaotic lesbian and is the reason Marella came out to her friends. Dawn also has a lesbian pin as apart of her infamous pin collection she has on her bag

Charri is definitely bisexual. She had a crush on Dawn at some point, then even Marella when she first saw her

Charri is Asexual and Bisexual. Dawn gave her hair pins with both of the flags on them she keeps them pinning back her hair at all times. If you look close enough her glasses have the bi flag on the inside of the temples

Adalin is also Pansexual. None of these kids are hetro. He pained the clasp of his registry pendant to have the pan flag on it. Dawn was to proud when she spotted it. His father less so and Adalin got grounded for a month.

Adalin getting grounded also happened one week into Adalin and Charri dating. Charri spent her nights crying herself to sleep about not being able to see him. His father not even letting him go to school.

The girls thought that Adalin was gay when they first meet him. They claimed he just had the vibe but he is actually pansexual

Charri has a pet Murcat called Astro. She got the money to get him by tutoring kids before that are Foxfire levels while she as in level 1 and 2. She got astro during level 3

Dawn and Charri first hated each other so much. They meet each other through Marella some how. Marella just tripped over Charri’s foot one day then introduced her to Dawn.

Adalin has curly hair and extremely light freckles. He has been caught twisting a coil of hair around his finger once. Dawn wishes she had a camera for that moment
