6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?*

I wouldn’t say I hated any ships, but the fandom has definitlely made me more open-minded to NiDe (Nikolai x Dempsey) and Tankeo (Dempsey x Takeo).

9. Most disliked character(.s)? Why?

Dr. Monty, Shadowman and Dr. Ludvig Maxis. 

You know you don’t have much going for you when a literal child put you to shame. As a kid, Samantha Maxis was more badass and convincing than those two supposed dark entities.

As for Dr. Maxis, there was just nothing that made me feel for him. He formed an independent research group called group 935, only to sell it out to N*zis as their own personal wonder weapon factory.

Worse yet, he pretty much isolated his fellow 935 scientists from their governments and families. Which can be understood in one way, but still. Overall he’s underdeveloped for a supposed major character.

17. Instead of XYZ happening, I would have made ABC happen…

This was a rather tricky one to respond to..

Perhaps Dr. Monty and Shadowman could have been introduced earlier in the story, rather than so late. The same can be said about the Agartha/Aether lore. Or at least give off more tiny easter eggs on that.

As for the story in the-game-that-shall-not-be-named, it was all so rushed and half-assed, they probably should have wrapped it up juts then.

Hear me out, in theory this is a pretty solid ship. Considering for a point in time they both really hate Dr Monty, all be it for different reasons that whole enemy of my enemy is pretty good.

Brodie Ferguson x Richtofen

Now I know what your thinking, actually if your thinking this please tell me how you figured it out. I hear you saying “But Richtofen kills Brodie„ and to that I say, yes I know but it's not out of hate or wanting to. It's because he has to, do to Money and Shadowman playing tic tac toe in his head at different times. During Revelation his eyes change color to a mix of Red, Yellow and Blue (yes their is a reason to why those three colors) he isn't in control of himself and the others have to fight a powerful version of him. Richtofen kill Brodie not because he wants to but because he has to. I could see them being in love and then suddenly realized as the moment to take Brodie down and Richtofen's heart just falls to pieces.

Brodie Ferguson x Dempsey

This is that classic friends to lovers ship. Knowing each other before the zombie outbreak/attack, now this would mean when Richtofen kills Brodie, Dempsey will try and beat the ever living shit out of him. Dempsey doesn't fully understand in the moment that it was the right choice. Also their already kinda close before this going down and Brodie not being there at first Dempsey carrying Brodie's medic patch around thinking Brodie died but when Brodie does show up (uninvited) it's a pure happiness moment that is cut short but it's still sweet. They just be sweet on each other.

Call of Duty!

The first character I first fell in love with: 

The first character I grew attached to was Tank Dempsey. The simping is still going strong 8-9 years later.

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: 

- Russell Adler. Since Black Ops 2, I stopped caring about the campaigns and that. The only thing that kept me consistently in the fandom was the Zombies. 

Adler’s complexities as a character and the focus on atrocities done BY the US (Greenlight nukes, MK-Ultra) was breath of fresh air compared to the narratives over the years. Russell Adler is indeed a magnificent bastard. 

- Also, Task Force 141. I did like the OG trilogy, but I was more focused on the Black Ops series (mainly for the Zombies). But your fics got me interested in them. Also, @enderio got me fascinated enough to look into MW2019 as well. 

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: 

- Ultimis Nikolai. I always liked him the least. Over the years, I felt that being drunk was his only personality trait. My mind has changed since then, but he still rubs me the wrong way. He might be funny, but I would avoid him IRL.

The character I love that everyone else hates: 

- I always hated how much hate Ultimis Takeo got back in the day. I’m proud to say I never jumped on that hate train.

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: 

- I still love Adler as a character, but I see him in a more critical light than before.

- The same goes for Ultimis Richtofen. I used to be an Ultimis Richtofen main.

The character I would totally smooch: 

I got plenty.

- The Zombies cast, especially Primis and Samantha Maxis. They literally went through Hell and back.

- The 141 squad deserves better. Simple as that.

The character I’d want to be like: 

- I’d want to be more like Primis Richtofen and Takeo, because I relate to them the most.

The character I’d slap: 

- Dr. Monty, Shadowman, Savannah Mason. Wouldn’t slap Ultimis Richtofen and Dr. Maxis, but would clown on them for the funsies. They deserve it.

A pairing that I love: 

- Romantic: Bellseus, Becler, Masonweaver. Gore n’ Guinness is growing on me as well.

- Platonic: Samenov, Tankeo, NiDe, Primis RiDe, Bloodmoney, Wildcard, Park x Lazar, Bell x Mason, Bell x Woods, Bell x Stitch, Bell x Naga, Mason x Woods, Stitch x Naga, Belldler

A pairing that I despise:

Savannah Mason x Woods.
