It's a very old tree and I don't know what type of apple it is. I was recently given this lens along with a couple of other lenses and cameras by Bob Wick's widow. I really like the lens, I've wanted one for years but they were out of my price range years ago. I didn't realize they had dropped in price that much.

Plan

My idea is to go and shoot climbing at Dumbarton Rock. I will be going with a group of people who are experienced climbers. I am planning on going to a mixture of shots that capture the emotion, the precise movements and the scale of what is being climbed on.

I plan on shooting at a small aperture bellow around f/3 so that I get more out depth of field in the images. I have decided to compromise quality for weight by using cheaper lenses that are lighter as it is easier to climb with lighter equipment.

As climbing can be dangerous I am going to have to take care whilst shooting. Climbing is also something I do on a regular basis I feel that I have enough experience to photograph climbing safely.
