El Rumor: Un fanfic ConterxParacetamor durante Elitecraft 2

Capítulo 1: La confrontación.

No era la primera vez que Paracetamor y Conter discutían por lo mismo, lo único que cambiaba era el lugar en el que se encontraban y el tiempo en que su conversación regresaba al mismo tema. Esta vez,se habían encontrado en el nexo del Nether, mientras Conter regresaba al Imperio y Para buscaba lo necesario para mejorar su armadura. A pesar de la discusión inminente, se dirigian a la misma dirección, así que caminaron juntos por los fríos pasillos.

“¡Tú eres un conejo con disfraz de dinosaurio! Eres furro “furro”... ¡Doble Furro! Por que todos los animales son furros.”

“¡Si todos los animales somos furros eso te hace furra a ti también! Tienes hasta un suéter de pato. Un gorro de pato…”

Para interrumpió a Conter, había algo de molestia disimulada en su voz. “¡Pero es que yo no soy un animal! ¡soy casi humana! ¿Cómo me vas a comparar contigo?”

“Te ves como humana, es diferente.” Remarco Conter, ignorando lo despectiva que había sonado esa última pregunta. “¡Eres una furra que quiere aparentar que no es furra! Antes tenías tus alas fuera y la gente te decía furra, así que empezaste a ocultarlas con esa ropa.”

Ambos tenían un poco de razón, Paracetamor era un “Ícaro”,  un humano con un pequeño par de alas a los lados de su cabeza y un par más grande en la espalda. Y Conter era un “Harengon” una raza que compartía algunas características con los humanos, pero principalmente, con los conejos. 

Una brillante línea roja se marcó sobre las mejillas de Para, Conter había mencionado un buen punto, pero ella no podía darle la razón, ¿que habría de divertido en eso? “¡Es que cuando las dejaba afuera la gente decía que si eran alas de pato y…!” 

“Eres una furra arrepentida, que es peor aún.” Interrumpió Conter entre una risa burlona.

“No no, que yo guardo mis alas y pasó por humana, tú la única forma que tienes de guardar lo conejo es quedándote en casa.” Afirmó Para con una gran sonrisa, sabía que no había nada que Conter pudiera decir para responder a eso. Y por su reacción sabía que tenía razón.

Conter se había detenido, y miraba a Para con una expresión entre sorpresa, fastidio y muy en el fondo, orgullo. “Bueno, a ver…” Resoplo Conter. “No voy a decir nada, pero bueno, ganaste esta vez.”

“Nunca ha sido una competencia, es todo de chill, ¿sabes?”  Para tenía la expresión más presumida posible en su rostro, tal vez para ella estas discusiones eran solo un juego, pero Conter tomaba muy en serio el defender su sudadera de dinosaurio.

“Mira, aquí a la derecha se llega al Imperio 51. Así que yo me quedo aquí.” Dijo Conter parado frente a un intimidante pasillo de paredes oscuras. 

Para se detuvo para observar el oscuro camino, como si tratara de memorizar cuánto tiempo habían caminado antes de llegar ahí. La verdad era que ver al conejo en armadura frente a la entrada de la facción más fuerte de esas tierras era algo intimidante. Pero ella había escuchado unas palabras que pocos rivales de Conter habían hecho. Ese “ganaste esta vez” era una victoria que pocos habían llegado a disfrutar.

Con esa nueva determinación encontrada se echó su pico de diamante al hombro. “¡Vale! Yo seguiré por aquí, que necesito escombros.” 

“¡Suerte…!” suspiro Conter mientras se daba la vuelta y caminaba dentro al pasillo. Sabía muy bien que Farfa había dejado vacías las profundidades cercanas, pero Para se daría cuenta de eso por su cuenta.

El edificio de Conter proyectaba una enorme sombra sobre el resto de la pradera dentro de su hexágono. Pocos sabian la cantidad de redstone que había bajo el suelo, todo parte de un sistema de tolvas que alimentan una enorme sala de cofres. Conter aterrizó junto a la fuente detrás de la gran estructura. Dejaría ahí los objetos comunes antes de subir a su edificio a dejar las cosas más importantes y a reparar sus herramientas. 

Sin embargo, algo llamó su atención, una rústica nota de papel estaba pegada al costado de la fuente. De inmediato reconoció la letra de Crisgreen. “Esta noche nos vemos en el bar de Sili, no lo vayas a olvidar. Posdata, tu casa sigue siendo una poronga.”

“Tu vives en tumor verde, que mierda vas a saber.” dijo Conter para sí mismo, mientras arrugaba la nota y la arrojaba a fuente. Seguramente el sistema se encargaria de enviarla al cofre de la basura. 

Juntarse a beber en el bar de Silithur era una buena forma de tomar un descanso, un ambiente totalmente contrario a las reuniones que hacían en el hexágono central durante la guerra. Además era bueno quedar para cosas que no fueran entrenar o juntar cantidades vulgares de concreto para las pranks.

Y con esa idea en mente, Conter se dispuso a pasar el resto del día ordenando los tesoros de su viaje antes de ir al nuevo bar, por alguna razón habían construido en el End.

Con el sol ocultándose tras la muralla, las luces del interior del edificio se encendieron automáticamente, tomando por sorpresa a Conter. Realmente había pasado todo el día ordenando y organizando los cofres. Normalmente le habría tomado mucho menos tiempo, pero las palabras de Paracetamor lo habían mantenido distraído todo el día. 

“Doble furro.” “¿Cómo me vas a comparar contigo?” 

No estaba molesto con ella, para nada, estaba molesto consigo mismo por no haber sido capaz de responder en el momento. Pero no solo las palabras de la chica alada se mantenían en su mente, esa sonrisa burlona y llena de satisfacción que ella le dio antes de seguir su camino en el nether, era lo que más le había fastidiado. 

“Bueno ya, mucho.” Dijo para sí mismo , cerrando el cofre y sacudiendo su cabeza. Un guerrero como él no podía engancharse a una simple discusión. Además, sabía que tenía un lugar a donde ir. Con ello en mente, tomó sus elytras y dio un paso fuera de la ventana más cercana; con el estallido de un cohete, su silueta se adentró en la oscuridad de la noche, en dirección al portal central del Imperio.

Era un poco extraño que el nuevo bar estuviera  en el End, no era como si a Conter le importara realmente, había algo en el End que le hacía sentir cómodo, una sensación difícil de explicar. De cualquier manera, unas copas gratis y un rato con amigos hacía que el largo viaje por los pasillos del Nether valiera la pena. 

No había terminado de cruzar el portal hacia el overworld cuando escucho la voz de Farfadox hacer eco dentro de las paredes de la fortaleza. “No chabon, no rompan el spawner de lepismas, que le pueden servir a alguien… Maldito Ricardo, literal nadie…”

Desde el incidente con el Caballero de Netherite, Farfa evitaba un poco entrar al Nether, por consejo de varios de sus amigos.  Eso también significaba que tenía que atravesar la fortaleza infectada de lepismas y arañas.  Y que la gran mayoría de veces era el último en llegar a las reuniones.

Conter se apoyó junto a las escaleras que dan al portal, sabía que ya iba tarde, podía esperar a Farfa sin problema. Pocos minutos más tarde el caballero oscuro camino por la entrada frente al portal. Conter se acercó a él y un estruendoso apretón de manos resonó por la sala. “Es bueno verte, Conejo.” “Lo mismo, lo mismo, apura que vamos tarde” respondió Conter. 

Y tenían razón, al caer por el portal y dirigirse al bar podían ver que el resto de los chicos habían empezado a beber sin ellos. Rubik, Shadoune y Cris levantaron sus vasos al verlos entrar por la puerta. “El mismísimo par que eran los primeros en la guerra, no pueden llegar a tiempo a beber gratis, es que no me lo puedo creer.” Dijo Slithur mientras secaba un vaso tras la barra.

Todas las reuniones del imperio seguían una fórmula, Sili intentando mantener la plática profesional, hasta que unas copas más tarde se daba por vencido y solo discutían rumores y anécdotas de peleas anteriores o de tierras lejanas antes de que el Imperio fuera formado. Aún en tiempos de paz, era un alivio poder juntarse a pasar el tiempo así. 

Rubik siempre se mantenía algo atento a Conter, sólo contando cuanto tomaba antes de quedarse dormido, sin embargo, esta vez algo era diferente. Lo notaba ausente, con los ojos plantados en su vaso. Tan pronto la plática se calmó un poco, Rubik aprovecho a preguntar:

“¿Todo bien, Conter?”

Conter no respondió, ni apartó la mirada de los cubos de hielo en su vaso para ver al blaze. “¿Cómo pude haber respondido a eso? No, eso no importa ahora… Necesito tener algo listo para decirle la siguiente vez que la encuentre…” Pensaba Conter. Las bebidas no habían hecho más que sacar a flote las heridas en su orgullo. Después de todo, era la primera vez en mucho tiempo que le otorgaba una victoria a alguien fuera del imperio, incluso solo habían cruzado palabras.

Rubik repitió su pregunta, esta vez más alto, sacando a Conter de su burbuja, quien volteo a verlo algo exaltado antes de regresar la mirada a su vaso. “¿En que estas pensado?” insitio Rubik.

“En Paracetamor.” Respondió Conter, aún metido en sus propios pensamientos. 

El silencio inundó el bar por unos segundos luego de su respuesta, antes que todas las reacciones lo golpearan como una tonelada de ladrillos.

“¿Q-Que?” “¿Conter?”  tartamudearon Rubik y Shadoune al unísono.

“¡¿COMO?!” Farfa exclamó en un tono incrédulo y burlón.

Cris escupio toda su bebida sobre la pared antes de soltar un ataque incontrolable de risa.

“¡¿El turbo furro está enamorado?!” rio Silithur.

“¡No, no! ¡Quería decir que en maneras de ganarle a Paracetamor!” Exclamó Conter levantándose de su silla. “¡No que estoy pensando en ella!”  Ni su pelaje blanco podía cubrir  lo rojo que se había tornado su rostro. 

“¡Te tienen en las nubes!”

“¡No puedo creerlo!”

“¿Para cuándo la boda?”

“Nosborn, ¡Que galan!”

“¡El furro colorado!”

Conter volvió a sentarse, con ambas manos cubriendo su rostro. “¡Que no es así, la puta madre!” Era demasiado tarde, sabía que este desliz serviría para fastidiarlo por meses.  

“Dios, Conter… ¿una de las chicas nuevas? ¿En serio?” Preguntó Shadoune cubriéndose la boca, aún sorprendido.  

“¡Esto es culpa tuya, pelotudo!” Dijo Cris dándole un golpe en el hombro a Shadoune. “Mira el ejemplo que le das.”

No importaron todas las veces que Conter intentó cambiar el tema durante el resto de la noche, los chicos no lo dejaban pasar. Todas las preguntas que se negó a responder hicieron que la conversación se convirtiera en un juego de adivinar qué era lo que había pasado. En algo tenían razón, Paracetamor era una chica muy linda, y Conter lo sabía, pero entre ellos solo había una ligera rivalidad… ¿Verdad?

“¿Ya adivinó alguno lo que pasó o querés que sigamos?” Dijo Farfa entre risas.

“Ahh, ya callense, los odio.” Respondió Conter frustrado, levantándose de nuevo y caminando directo a la puerta y hacia el portal de regreso al OverWorld. Las risas de sus amigos continuaron desde dentro del bar.

Lo que no sabía era que mientras él caía por el portal, uno de sus amigos ya estaba formulando un plan. Algo lento y elaborado…

It is low like 2020/2021 George would have had 100k easy. English Twitch viewers have just disappeared after Covid. Dream on 76k is like crazy number for an English streamer if he’d stayed in like snf i bet he’d be going up every day. Still never like Hispanic streamer numbers but yeah English streamers just aren’t the hype they used to be. And I’m sure it’s because they fell off from consistent content but yeah

I mean, pandemic numbers were insane but obviously, everyone went down after it passed. I think a bit it has to do with consistency but also there's a lot of people who moved on and without the dsmp as an excuse there's no real reason why so much people would watch one stream. Like cmon, we always joke about Karl Jacobs lobbies but they were sick cause it was Something Exciting To Watch.

Because like, the biggest hispanic streamers pull 60k-100k often because there's always something going on, whether is an smp (karmaland, tortillaland, elitecraft) a short series (minecraft Extremo, Piratas, GTARP, Ark) an event (SquidCraft, La Velada, Juaniquilocopa, Mario Kart Tournament, Eslands) or just a dumb group game (Pico Park, Monopoly, Uno) and these things usually don't overlap, so people are less divided and they always have something to watch.

If only we could go back to jackbox and among us I bet they dtkq would pull 50k viewers consistently
