Every so often, we make it to the final volume of a light novel or manga and have to say goodbye. Today, we bid adieu to Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible as VIZ Media releases the final volume of the series. It was a cute, fun manga that really found its voice a few volumes into the run. Check out our review below to see if closed with as much warmth and goodness as it demonstrated through most of its run! And also read our other reviews, which include romance, sci-fi, and fantasy series!

Looking for action? Boy, do we ever you have covered. Copious amounts of gun-blasting and sword-wielding battles fill the volumes of manga and light novels this week. But fear not, romance lovers! There’s room in some of these adventure works for some lovey-dovey material as well, and we review several straight-up romance series, including the introductory to the new series from Ao Haru Ride and Love Me, Love Me Not‘s Io Sakisaka!
The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor (Vol. 1) • Fly Me to the Moon (Vol. 17) • Helck (Vol. 6) • I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time (Vol. 1) • Issak (Vol. 3) • Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible (Vol. 10) • Sakura Saku (Vol. 1)

We’re leading off today with the first volume of a ghoulish original English language manga series that has become a cult favorite: I Luv Halloween! Written by the recently deceased comic book legend, Keith Giffen, it feels extremely appropriate to cover this manga today. But does it hold up? Read our review for volume one as well as our thoughts on tons of other series in this slightly spooky edition of Reader’s Corner!
After the Rain (Vol. 2) • I Luv Halloween (Vol. 1) • I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time (Vol. 1) • Looks Are All You Need (Vol. 1) • My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me -AΩ- (Vol. 2) • Otherworldly Izakaya Nobu (Vol. 1) • Stray Cat & Wolf (Vol. 1) • The Villainess Stans the Heroes: Playing the Antagonist to Support Her Faves! (Vol. 2)
