#experimental #ryou bakura #yugioh #ygo #ryou #bakura #bakura ryou #just experimenting on random things for the heck of it #still can't use water colour (mostly from lack of practice and stuff but still it was fun for a background) #I think I like drawing Ryou's hair fluffier then this like I usually do but still #also I like my usual gold colouring better #but I don't mind his pants so I might keep those colours #skin you can't really tell a difference (I used different colours then usually but it didn't really affect anything so bleh #the spirits are suppose to be diabound and zorc in case anyone was curious/it's not obvious at all #and the backgrounds red for thief king #guess the grounds blue for yami bakura #think thats all #have fun

YGO Hair- musings

I draw the YGO (Duel Monsters) sometimes.  Their hair is hard.  Here are my thoughts on their level of difficulty:  1 easiest to 10 hardest.

Seto Kaiba (you're almost my usual standard design)

Ishizu Ishtar (gorgeous waterfall hair, straight cut)

Pegasus (same but angle straight cut

Mokuba (poof)

Joey Wheeler (I BET you tease the bottom of your bangs?)

Tea Gardener (you're a bob, with sometimes weird bangs)

Rex Raptor (hat + poof)

Mako Tsunami (You're just a fun mess)

Weevil (ugh bowl cut)

Tristan Taylor (wedge head, greaser look, I think the 90's bang flip thing?)

Now begins the major thought process...

Ryou (hgnh....never consistent, are you sharp or fluffy?!  You def have some waviness to your hair, and layers, choppy layers, angled bangs definitely,  I tied those once when I was younger, I ended up looking like a genderbend Light Yagami, but I love you so much, so I cant complain too much)

Bakura (same as above but with scythes coming out of your head, or it that your energy just let it float and the two points are the most concentrated peaks of the power stream?)

Marik Ishtar (Whee all the wavy lines, our luscious golden boy hair, you're so worth it baby, your bangs, your bangs, I love and hate them.  I LOOOOVE drawing your hair.)

Mariku (LION Just draw a lion, like Mako but fluffier, the volume of hair does not match his Hikari and it and has an invisible balloon for static behind him to keep it all up

Gramps (Screw hats, screw your bangs)

Duke Devlin (Sexy mutherfucker and geometrical bangs, are you soft hair or shaped hair?  I dont know, but boy I bet its soft, because of the way you twist it.  The top of your head is definitely cut shorter, to achieve that floof, side swept, and your pony tail tells me you got straight waterfall hair mmmm,and then...you may have finger-twisted your side bangs together?)

Touzoku (adorable rat nest head, let me just put a lion head bunny on your head and call it a day, which way do you part? Do you not like ever finger comb it? You definitely just grab chunks and just cut it with a dagger or something. Soooooooo fluffy and not static fluffy. Just a mess, all around mess.)

Yugi/ Atem (First off, screw your bang standards- I hate them, I can never draw the left side bangs!  Everyone has sort of fluff and you...you're just- I don't, I can't even think how the back of your head works with strands.  It's like its been balloon static-ed, like Mariku but then you froze it with like strength 1000000000000 hair spray. And Atem, your fly away yellow bangs.  >: T *GRUNT*  Let me just stick it all into a pony tail so I can preserve my sanity.

Mai Valentine  (I. LOVE. YOU.  But your bangs are like Yugi/Atem X 100, and your waves, oh your waves are like... Mariks but they're not waves they're definitely curls but stretched out curls, you have that hair volume and end flips so many women want, I  love your hair but I really can't do anything. I am sorry lady, I dont deserve to draw you.  LP -2000.)
