So, I appear with Madou findings I forgot to give. And Yokai Watch updates.

I was supposed to show this in my last post but forgot to make a section for it, so I'm deciding to do it here, alongside other stuff.

Check it, a popularity poll around the time Saturn released. (The Schezo and Witch artwork.)

It's quite literally a popularity poll. There's the usual, Arle and Schezo being top 2, Witch and Draco in top 5, Satan being 6th, that nonsense. However, as we go down the list gets more interesting. Notably, Kikimora ranked 10 over Lagnus, who ranked 11th.

A few more notable placement is Momomo outplacing Suke (15th to 19th), Skeleton-T being 14th, and 20th being Honey Bee.

Waku Puyo Stuff:

So, a pal (@kirstenonic05 ) and I decided to go through some old Waku Waku Puyo Puyo Dungeon manuals we found online, and honestly? Yielded interesting results.

Waku Puyo Translations takes a super long time. Believe me, I'm working on them.

But with that, here's some of what we found.

A while back, I posted the 3D models of the Yokai Watch collab finally being unearthed, so I decided to just quickly find some neat looking stuff.

First thing I wanna say about it: Arle is legit part of the metagame. She's unironically amazing.

my height headcanons:

Fluttershy is the tallest, coming in at 5'9 she's definitely Rarity's favorite customer. Rarity would sometimes ask her to play mannequin for emergencies, like a customer's deadline is coming up. Fluttershy is reliable on this, of course.

Applejack's up next at 5'7 -Big Mac is 6'2 and Applebloom is 5'2 already at such a young age.

Rarity and Sunset would be 5'6

Twilight at 5'4

Pinkie and Dash at 5'2, but then Pinkie being the youngest, finally hits that growth spurt and reaches 5'3 and a half.

my ethnicity headcanons:

Fluttershy's probably the bullied German kid, her parents aren't Nazis tho, which is why her parents moved away in the first place. Moving to Asia, almost every kid bullied her, except for Rainbow Dash -who's Japanese.

Rainbow Dash is Japanese and I have a reason why. Japan's got samurais with this notorious mindset that they'd rather commit seppuku than bring dishonor. Overbearing asian parents + pressure to bring honor = Rainbow Dash leaving home as soon as possible to get away from all of that. (she's either Japanese or Chinese ...or Filipino because I'm Filipino)

Applejack lives in Italy and Rarity lives in France, they're neighbors with a country border between them. They know of each other in passing, but they're not really friends until Twilight came to town. Italy's the world's top apple exporter because of the Apple family. While Rarity's love for fashion is partly because her parents travel all over France, bringing her (& Sweetie Belle) back some clothes and accessories every return.

Pinkie Pie can NOT possibly be black -did you see her make a song & dance about Zecora? She literally bullied an African-coded character because said character is different. Also, Maud Pie is too boring to be black, (I've encountered no boring black people because they're all witty and interesting. Black ppl have this presence that neither Pinkie nor her sisters have. Pinkie also doesn't fit the no-nonsense trait of poc people.)

Twilight Sparkle is black american, she's giving me Martin Luther King's second coming. This girl's got a dream, and she bout to make it come true.

Sunset Shimmer is a hundred percent Puerto Rican. And Starlight Glimmer is a Colombian -these two are definitely vibing right off the bat.

How tall do you headcanon Gortash as being. I can't find any official information and there are only 2 body types in game: tall and not tall. Hello, can I ask you for some advice on how to stop disliking your height? I'm pretty much the same height as you, so about 5'3 or 5'4, which is about average for women in my country. When it comes to other unchangeable things like body hair and facial features and even personality I don't really care what others think, but with height specifically I always get a little upset whenever I see memes online making fun of shorter people, esp women, or when some people on here (sometimes so-called feminists) imply shorter women are ALWAYS weak physically and inferior in every way or are childlike. I don't even struggle with anything in particular, but these kinda things do get to me sometimes.

I am 5'3 and have been this height since 10th grade. I thought of myself as "average" even when I played volleyball because I just happen to play on the shortes team in our league. 5'1 the shortest and 5'8 being the tallest.

Then sometimes people will meet me, and it happens all the time, they will say 'WOW I thought you were tall!" In my head I started thinking.. maybe I am short? I guess I didn't put too much stock into it because I just didn't think about myself in comparson to others until others pointed it out.

Short women like me need to learn somethings. LIKE leverage is our friend. What we lack in height we make up for ingenuity. I can lift a hay bale but I have to use my knee, other bales, some creative movement. We learn that we can't reach things but we don't hit our head as much. When we fall we are closer to the ground.

Tall people deal with stupid questions. "how's the weather?" "OMG HOW tall ARE you?" Tall women get called intimidating or manly even if they are quite feminine.

No woman escaped the scrutiny of society. It seems to always find something to point out as Non conforming.

The most powerful butch I know is my best friend Jen. She has climbed all seven summits in the world (8 actually), over came an injured knee to climb a peak in Antartica, and can cut/stack wood or pile hay bales all day with me and she is my height. 5'3.

BUT one does not have to be physcially strong to be perfect fine. Not everyone, not every butch even, has physical health or strength. Our worth is not based on physical power, although some might have it and love that trait about themselves, not everyone does.

Outside bullshittery is rampant in our world, expecially since the internet came along and many people seem to think it is the place to come on and criticise and demean anyone they want, often for zero reasons other than just to be a Keyboard Jackass.

I guarantee people, friends who care about you love you the way you are and your height plays no part in that. If you have a girlfriend chances are your lack of tallness is very much apart of why she is attracted to you.

I have been lovingly called a Pocket Sized Butch. Yeah... I lll take that. It fits me. My last girlfriend is 5'9 and she thought (and told me so) she loved it when I stood on my tipee toes to get a kiss.

So this is a really stupid idea for an origin. Bite me if you make fun but all the rest a yas (like one person) can keep on if you'd like to. You can skip to the part in brackets for all RAE but there's an explanation for Dook's behavior in my idea below this.

So I have a poodle, this comes into play. So my dog, Phoebe, she acts completely normal around me, and for the most part the rest of the family. She gets a little excited to see her human "grandparents" but nothing too bad.

But... Here's the thing. Everybody in my house is under 5'6 and we're all AFAB. So we all have quite feminine voices still. Whenever cis men come in the house, I've seen this with three people, Phoebe goes insane. The first issue with that is peeing everywhere but that's not gonna pertain to my idea. But whenever someone, say my best friend comes over, she gets super excited, and she runs over and she pees, yes, but what catches my eye is how her floppy ears slick back, and her tail goes crazy, and she gets all haunched and stuff and she'll even sit down despite, the mess, just to get smaller. My best friend is literally like, 5'9, he is goddamn massive to me (5'3) If the guy makes even a little movement that isn't slow and calm as much as he tries, she freaks out and she runs off and continues the mess.

I know exactly what the behavior is. It's submission. Normal dog stuff for her, it's something I'm working on with positive training.

I feel kinda terrible I wanna do that to Dook. Like not me doing it specifically, but I wanna like. Write it. Beach Bear is tall as shit, yeah? So is my best friend. You see where I'm going?

My idea is that it's around whenever Dook would've joined. I imagine he's the last to join because he was drawn as dingo in certain showbiz pictures and a mug or two with his beta design. And he's like "aww yeah I play some slamming drums." And Fatz I guess is just like "cool, come play and we'll see."

So Dook like, walks into the place where they record, and he's getting introduced like "that's Mitzi. Touch her and you die." And little Mitzi's already making herself comfy with Dook by like, petting him or something like kids (11 yr olds?) Would do. And Rolfe's all snarky with his meeting cause that's just his default demeanor, and I feel like that's where Dook and Rolfe would start a friendly canine rivalry. He remeets fatz under his own description as the leader, all puffing out his suit coat. And Billy bobs all nice and sweet and takes his hand to greet him like he did all the others like "great to meet our new drummer." And he picks up Choo Choo's little hand cause he's holding him, and Dook takes his tiny hand to shake because mans adores kids, And Dook's all caught up with the rest of them and meeting people, and he's seen Billy Bob so, here's all the band.

And then Fatz points literally a foot to his side and hes like. "Oh yeah, and that's Beach Bear." And Dook turns to him, like to his leg essentially and he's like. "Yo I thought you had weird decoration skills. You name em too?" And Beach Bear like, whacks an ear like "I am very alive."

And Dook looks up at him and he's met with the single tallest mf he's ever seen in his life, and he just, goes completely submissive because 'Jesus Christ that's not weird decoration?' And then 'oh my god I've been standing next to someone and ignored them for like ten minutes' and also 'HOLY FUCK THATS A BIG BITCH!'

So Dook's like mentally devolving and at the same time he's unconsciously like, trying to look smaller, and his ears are like, swaying all wonky cause they can't figure out whether to cower back or bounce around like mad, and they slick back, and he's all wagging and confused and hunching into himself but he's literally smiling like crazy and Beach Bear's like 'Dude, you look like youre gonna throw up, are you getting vertigo just lookin' at me?' And he's all joking and flirty because he deals with this with every new person he meets, and Dook's like "nah I'm getting butterflies just lookin' at cha what the fuck? How??? You are massive! Oh my god you're amazing. Amazing tall!" Just waving at his fucking everything cause hes GIGANTIC. And I feel like Dook's gotta have a thing for tall people, because he dated a pitbull and those are definitely bigger then cavaliers/beagles and I hc he loves poodles too because 80s and jgjhebdigns

Basically Dook falls head over heels instantly and he's doing the whole run and dance of the submission thing (minus the gross parts), and I feel like ROLFE would be the one to point it out. Because he's a bit of an ass sometimes, but I also feel like Rolfe knows everything about wolf/dog mannerisms specifically to not get caught doing them. So he'd point it out like "Did you seriously not see him? That's the first thing I saw when I came in. Are you gonna start freaking out when I stand next to you too?" Cause Rolfe's like 6'0 and Dook goes all indignant, crossing his arms. "I saw him! And I thought he was a lamp. Big deal. I'm not freaking out. Youre the one whos- staring." And he like, grabs his tail cause it's swinging like crazy but he keeps fuckin missing it and Rolfe's smirk just progressively smears wider and Dook's going red cause he can't grab his goddamn tail and now Beach Bear's looking at him funny and he just gives up, stamps a foot and crosses his arms and he's like "I don't appreciate how I'm being treated."

And Billy Bob starts laughing and he puts an arm on Fatz shoulder. "He's gonna fit right in, don't you think?" Fatz says and Billy bobs nodding like, "yeah, he's gonna get right under Rolfe's shirt like the other two." And he's pointing between Dook, beach and Mitzi who have kinda crowded on one side, and they're devolving into fucking with Rolfe and Rolfes fucking with them back, and Mitzi's like, switching between hurling words at Rolfe to visciously question Dook and he doesn't have time to answer any of them because she's swapping like a multitask queen, And Looney Bird pops out his can blazing drunk like "WHOOOO ROCKAFIRE EXPLOSION!"

Ahhh so i forgot to tell y'all my younger sister just had her first kid (at 26? i think that's how old she is lmao, i was 23 but diff circumstances), and she was in labor for 2.5 hours, that's it...

i was in labor for 23 hours, 19 of that was active, i pushed for a full hour, like my child did not want to come out, and due to my clotting issues they really really didn't want to do a c-section,

whatever... but like the weird thing, my ex is 5'7, i'm 5'3 on a good day, both of us are tiny, small bone structure, my kid was 8.8 pounds, like she was a freaking football, (which is why she took so long my hips are too small i was not meant for childbirth lmao)

I think a lot of people like to interpret Martin as a large man in the objective sense (and that's cool, I like seeing everyone's different headcanons for everyone), but I personally like imagining that he's a large man in the relative sense.

To explain what I mean, I'll tell a little anecdote: when I was 19, I worked in a community college bio lab, and one time the professor I worked for was talking about how her family all called her "moose" growing up, because she was by far the tallest woman among them.

She was like... I'm gonna say 5'3-5'4. And went on to explain that everyone else was like 4'11.

And I think Martin has something similar going on, except with amab family members and being like 5'9 instead of like 5'4.

...As with a lot of my headcanons, I choose to believe this because it's just funny. Like, imagine being some miscreant and Cecil threatens to sic his scary gigantic brother on you. And the brother in question is just this quiet average-sized dude who stares daggers at you and not much else. (I mean tbf he's jacked and could probably really fuck someone up if he wanted.
