Have you made any new friends this year in fandoms your muse isn't from? Who? - This year has been the year of getting abducted into the Stranger Things fandom by @thefreak-86 and this nerd named @talesfromthevoiid which then gatewayed me to a bunch of amazing people like @zoomingupthathill @theolderh3nderson @helltothefire @havvkinsqueen @surfkng @vitaegratis and so many more! I've also been hanging around Stars Hollow with @offorester and @erncst and @paddyfuck which has been an absolute blast! ben and poe...but i don't think this surprises anyone now. some people might wanna thump me for saying they share some similarities: children of the resistance; so shared history (childhood friends if you're me), tempers, flyboys, stubborn and determined, competitive, huge hearts and sm more. they just happen to be fighting on different sides of the war, which only makes things all the more delicious to me. i just think theirs is an intriguing dynamic that should have been explored more in the sequels. but alas...the mouse is a hater.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE.

1.What’s the worst role playing experience you’ve had?

Ok so, this is gonna be fuckin weird cause one: this was roleplay between me and a friend when I was 13-14 and two: at that age you just create all sorts of wacky ass scenarios

I don't remember HOW we got to this point in the rp, but it was me and a former friend. Former friend had these characters that were staffed under a laboratory (his sona/self insert being the head scientist), and something happened where all of them save for his sona got zapped to become children

So it was DB's responsibility (unfortunately) to get the staff to come back and stop wandering off before they destroyed something! And fuckin, idk what to write! I'm a kid myself and I didn't have any younger siblings so I just try to get DB to round up the kids using what knowledge I had from like, Rugrats or some shit! Stuff kids might enjoy like candy and toys! Apparently that wasn't the right answer cause all the characters turned at DB to say "No." Still to this day hate that rp ever happened.

3. Why did you leave your last fandom?

Phewwww ok so sadly my last fandom was the Poke fandom and uh... because of certain... events last year, it made that entire environment toxic and inhabitable for me considering what I had to deal with in the end. If u know, u know, but for the sake of a few others who follow me and fled for similar reasons, I'm not dredging that situation up.

15. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Honestly? I've never quite had a pet peeve cause I've been lucky to have rp partners who are chill and one who I don't click with all that well I pass them by. But I guess it's just creating familiar/SO bonds with my characters w/o us talking it over first. And it's something I have to get better abt being more verbal abt cause I'm too eager to please and not disappoint.

Note! This isn't pointing at anyone I currently talk to! But this is based on past issues I've had. Just, a link pops up and there's not enough substance for me to write on it comfortably and exude that feeling through my muse.

Muse =/= Mun, but I find it easier to express emotions through my muse if I'm feeling the exact same way if not similar! If I'm not feeling the ship/bond, then I can't confidently express that through my muse and it comes out flat and baseless! It's why I always ask for folks to communicate and talk it out with me first!

Oh god if I had to choose an absolute favorite from allllllll of my ships on here or discord, it's probably gonna have to be a discord ship, HenLiv. It's tragic as hell because it's very much a case of right person, wrong time and they do end up leaving each other... but when they are together it's so damn cute. Unfortunately, Henri has a lot of healing to do and ends up being a bit too Chaotic Evil for her.

There is a hypothetical verse where they work out, though.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?

As long as everyone is an adult, I don't particularly care? But when it comes to minor muses, I don't do any ships with an age gap larger than two years and I also don't ship any of my muses that are below the age of 15. I also don't ship any of my muses that look under 15 (Huan and Irusan, for example).

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFW?

Whenever the muses start getting handsy and it gets into feeling up / foreplay territory. I rarely write smut though, so.

One thing to note with me, though is if a dynamic between two muses is mostly sex-based with little else, I don't consider it a ship because I have a good number of muses who don't associate sex with romance.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?

Very much so! I like development with my ships and it seems there's not a lot of that on tumblr? At least, I've had very little luck with when it comes to romantic shipping (probably cause I can be pretty picky about it). I've had way more luck with either discord groups or people who have consistently written with me for several years. I do have a few in the works here on tumblr that excite me, though.

WHO ARE OTHER CHARACTERS YOU SHIP YOUR CHARACTER WITH?

Since I used Henri in an example earlier, here's someone else I ship Henri with: @suizokukans muse Cian! Its been super slow so far because Henri is so slow burn it hurts but if i can get off my ass and get to our replies I think there's going to be some progress real soon.

Yes and no? We could absolutely plan a ship in the future of whatever we're doing (and that is how I end up with a lot of the ships in my group plots) and if it happens it happens, and I also like to talk with my rp partners while stuff is going on. But sometimes, chemistry can be right off the bat and I'm fine with winging it, too.

ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?

I wouldn't say I'm ship obsessed at all. I prefer to ship with friends tbh or at least people I interact with often. People who reach out to me as much as I reach out to them (or attempts, at least).

ARE YOU MULTISHIP?

Yes and no. Most of my muses are multiship, but do to the lore of some of them (like the cosmic witches), some are single ship. Muses that are plot specific, like Usagi, are usually single ship and my plot settings/plots in general tend to be single-ship. In my plots, it's unlikely that I ship outside of the discord servers those plots are on.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM?

Oh boi. I don't really do fandom stuff, but I do have two semi-active plots I could use for this:

In my Main Story verse, my current favorite dynamic involving my muse is DamiKan(mun no longer on tumblr) (there are just so many LAYERS to this shit I could go on for hours about it) - I will say its not exactly a healthy thing, I just find it to be the most interesting dynamic to write in that plot.

In my Patrons of the Moon plot, there's no particular dynamic that really stands out to me but i do like how different the dynamic between Damian and Todd ( @mandysxmuses ) is between those two verses.

Listen, I was gonna say I do, but then I realized my indecisive ass can't even pick favorites, so it might be surprising to hear, but every ship I have is my favorite ship 👀 I get really invested when I ship my muses with someone and I tend to cherish it and just get really soft over it. 2. Not really, like not in the sense where it makes me feel bad or I feel like left out or something like that. 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞/𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 (𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬/𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬?). i've been one to enjoy writing ever since i was a child . i even made my elementary school teacher literally weep tears at my short little novel i wrote about some character i made up expressing shame . so you could say ... almost all my life . I haven't started to actively write a character until middle school . i'm gonna go with 9+ years .

𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝. tumblr is currently my only platform . i used to have platforms like wattpad or quotev when i was younger .  

𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.   genuinely when i meet people who are now my friends . especially since i'm not a very social person &. my social anxiety tends to lead me to assume the wrong impressions . but i make an effort to not let it reign over when i have interaction with others .

𝐫𝐩 𝐩𝐞𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬 / 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬. don't get me started . it pisses me off or makes me severely uncomfortable when i notice my media or graphics be used heavily as reference ... i spent many years of my life learning how to create psds &. graphics , because at the time , i was making below than average of an income to even ask someone to make " this " for me . it drives me insane how much time i've spent on an editing software to see it be replicated or repurposed on another account .

another one being when followers of mine ( who interact with another muse as i have ) compare writing &. tell me about it . i don't wanna hear what this person's interpretation is like versus mine . makes me uncomfortable &. insecure about how i write . don't try to glorify someone else's writing over the other on purpose .

additionally , when the mun tries to act like they are the only best iteration of the character . although it hasn't happened to me , i've seen it from a by standing party . learn to separate muse from the mun .

just have the respect &. etiquette when engaging with me &. many others really .

𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐟𝐟, 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐭, 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐦𝐮𝐭. i don't have a preference . really . all of them are good writing material . although suggestive writing would be a rare thread if it's not someone i feel comfortable writing with . fluff &. angst are free all around .

𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬. i tend to do both . as i am someone who genuinely sucks at plotting first , i try to gain ideas from the person who desires to engage with my muse . &. i usually develop an idea based off a rough draft of the interaction . if i can't seem to find a sustainable idea for plotting , i will usually repost memes from it's source .

𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬. both . there's no in between . more often i will have threads longer than others , but they take longer . shorter threads are usually the ones posted far more faster .

technically this blog is multiship but it’s more that instead of different verses?? the same gin is living though several different relationships at different points in his timeline/loops. he can visit different verses of your muse if you like. technically he would carry over those memories but i can retcon something if you prefer he didn’t. depending on where we decide to place the relationship chronologically he may remember a previous relationship (with your muse and with other muses) when he’s in a new one, or not.

gin, obviously, plays the field. unless he and your muse have had an in-character chat about being committed, he considers them an extended fling. he’s surprisingly very loyal once he’s committed to someone, but he considers all relationships open unless discussed otherwise. or if your muse just wants to fuck, gin is perfectly happy with that too. polyamorous relationships could develop between three or more muses with different muns too. (yes yall know who you are i’m looking directly at you we should do it ok)

due to the nature of gin’s time bending reality warping self, his timeline isn’t chronological to everyone else all of the time. we can discuss this, but he may have met your muse for the first time in one part of his timeline, and then meet them again for your muse’s first time in a different part of the timeline. this may or may not overlap with @jumpinagain relationships/verses/timelines as all of that is a part of gin’s past or future in some way or other. his initial feelings about your muse generally reflects anything he remembers from previous asks or threads.

some of yall are already exploring some of this timeline fuckery with me but if you want me to wipe clean any history when going into a new thread, or place it in a different chronology, just let me know.

i want to add that this kind of timelining obviously has a lot to do with how i.swm/the m.arkcu works, and is also a spaceboi/gin original, but its current evolved form owes a lot to the extensive plotting i’ve done with ghostie’s viewer, between the way tv works and the amount of development xe let me put into him in our chitchats when i was first getting to know him. (also bc tv technically is the reason he escapes to become gin the very first time!)

anyway gin would be really mad if you accused him of cheating, and i would be uncomfy, so don’t do that unless we discuss it first. if you want to send jealousy dash comms type questions to gin you can i guess? the answer is almost always gonna be yes tho. yes he’s jealous. the man sees a healthy relationship belonging to two other consenting parties, goes “is anyone else gonna ruin this” and then doesn’t wait for an answer

sorry if this is old new also u don’t have to post this but one of my first discord rp experiences was w zelda & fleur and they literally made me feel like a villain for a whole month bc of their lack of communication + blocking me but then fleur unblocked me and kept joining my rps (to snoop and vaguely try to plot and act like nothing ever happened) so i’m glad u and others have been saying stuff cuz these people seriously made me feel like a menace to the rpc 💀

i can't speak to the zelda claims that have circulated since i've never interacted with them myself, so this is strictly an issue with fleur for me. i wasn't villainized until i got in the way of one of her potential endgames for her muse, in fact we were friends beforehand, but i look back on what we would talk about and can only feel pure disgust because i was a villain then, at least in my mind.

what was said at that time will never see the light of day because i ( and the other mun she befriended in our three way dm ) deeply regret fuelling her spite, jealousy and manipulative bullshit and don't care to have her use any receipts i have to suit her narrative or harass these muns even further, and i hate having the knowledge that i allowed her any influence over my judgment of others, over a lot of things actually. it’s not something i have to disclose necessarily as most would hate to put themselves in a negative light, but it’s to show not only accountability for what i myself participated in ( it was giving mean girls 2 vibes . calling it the og would inflate someone’s ego i’m sure ), but also that i have been on more than one side of fleur's fury and don't care to have others deal with it, end of.

the gaslighting and harassment are out there now, and while i'm sure she'll still creep up with her new discord and attempt to do as she always does, i would assume other muns will be more vigilant moving forward and that's what matters most to me in all of this; sure, i'm being petty as fuck when she's brought up or when she invades my boundaries that me blocking her should've made VERY obvious, but my concern lies with the other muns she could manipulate, terrorize and use to her heart's content. they don't deserve to deal with that shit nor should we pipe down just because it bothers others, 2023 is the year of accountability and people can either join the movement or fuck right off 🤷🏻‍♀️

krps suck major ass. it could be like the urban rpc, where it's specifically for asian muns but instead it's filled with non asian muns who want to rp as their favorite idols and just be generally gross. Asian muns desesve better just as much as anyone else!!

and you can also say how much it sucks that there's a lack of bipoc muses in all rps. like yay, shoutout to the rpc for FINALLY accepting asian muses ( bc it wasn't that long that many admins would put up singer bans and deny any app that had an asian muse ), but it's still a problem that people are ONLY playing kpop fcs. and i always say that it’s because kpop fcs ( and i literally mean the idols, rarely the actors ) fit into whatever aesthetic is in the minds of these people. i feel so bad for saying that but it’s like,,,,, the same way people DO play a bipoc muse but they’re ALWAYS half white or lightskinned as hell. if they light as hell, folks are gonna 1) play them and 2) plot with them. more than they would with bipoc muses and that shit is lame af. 

like, treat them all the same. they’re all people, just look different and come from different cultures. but these muses and muns still deserve the same kindness and attention as other muses, ya feel me? HOWEVER!!! i’ll NEVER say that we should ban kpop fcs, like, you’ll NEVER catch me saying that shit. if you think banning them will make a difference,,,, it wont and makes you look like the white muns from the early days of rping.
