Masque Milano Lost Alice

Nose: Mackenzie Reilly

notes: ambrette, black pepper, bergamot, clary sage; carrot, orris, black tea, rose; milk, sandalwood, broom

Lost Alice opens with a waxy, makeup-y, slightly carrotty iris with some delicate florals around the edges.

then there’s a sharp, icy herbal effect, lasting a few minutes and then transitioning to a pleasantly dry Earl Grey tea place.

and finally, gradually, there’s a further transition to a soft milky-woody zone; not sweet, just mild.

The whole arc is over in an hour, and thereafter we remain in pale-beige milky-wood land, with the barest suggestion of iris and bergamot tea.

Lost Alice is a very sheer, faint, polite “beige scent” with an emphasis on woods. I think it’s better than Tam Dao, for instance (a wan, pale synthetic “sandalwood” that remains inexplicably popular), and a far more tasteful take on milky Earl Grey tea than the gooey sugar-fest that was Remember Me. I tend to want more perfume in my perfume, but Lost Alice is definitely nice.

Having done another relisten I’ve just realised that when they got mind bombed, Gloria got (I’m guessing) part of her uncle Reilly’s personality, Bowden got random tv show character

and skip and Mackenzie GOT EACHOTHERS . they’re so besties that they switched personalities with eachother with is like amazing I think

Em entrevista, o diretor Francis Lawrence comentou que gostaria de fazer mais derivados de Jogos Vorazes se a autora, Suzanne Collins, concordasse.

“Se a Suzanne tiver alguma outra ideia que ela sinta que faz parte do mundo de Panem, seja com novos personagens ou velhos conhecidos, como Finnick, Haymitch ou sei lá, eu estaria muito interessado em me envolver”, disse o diretor.

O filme é baseados no livro de mesmo nome e se passa 64 anos antes dos eventos com Katniss, e acompanha o jovem Coriolanus Snow. Ele é a última esperança de sua família, que caiu em desgraça na Capital após uma guerra. Com isso, Snow relutantemente aceita se tornar mentor de Lucy Gray Baird, uma tributo do Distrito 12. E, quando ela consegue conquistar Panem, ele vê a oportunidade ambos mudarem os seus destinos.

Efter i en snes år at have optrådt i småroller på amerikansk tv besluttede skuespilleren Taylor Sheridan i starten af tierne at dyrke en anden side af sit talent og begynde at skrive. Han brød i 2015 igennem med manuskriptet til den mexicanske narkokartel-thriller "Sicario", der blev instrueret af Denis Villeneuve og hittede i Cannes. Året efter fik hans moderne western "Hell or High Water", som blev instrueret af David Mackenzie, hele fire Oscar-nomineringer, inklusive "Bedste originale manuskript". Dernæst debuterede han som instruktør med sit eget manuskript til ødemarksthrilleren "Wind River", og siden 2018 har han storhittet med tv'serien "Yellowstone", som han både skriver og instruerer, centreret om en stenrig, dysfunktionel familie, der synes klart inspireret af Ewing'erne fra 70'ernes og 80'ernes hitsoap "Dallas". Selv om jeg som bymenneske på forhånd var skeptisk over for bonderøvsmiljøet, blev jeg straks suget ind i historien, der godt nok er én lang parade af klicheer, men så fremragende og professionelt fortalt og spillet, at jeg uforbeholdent tager cowboyhatten af for første sæson og Sheridan, som også har instrueret forhistorien "1883", der ligeledes kan ses på SkyShowtime.
