SPRING HACK!

I'll present the new staff members better later, but this is just a short text and a picture of today's hack in the nature around the grounds of Dead End Ranch's facilities.

With us we have - from left to right - IVH Gone to Be Bright with his rider Teemu Ilves, DER Little Cloud with his rider Gabe Ryan, DER Koda with her rider Seraphina Malarc and at the far right end we have DER Pot O' Gold with his rider Anetta Baker.

As I said all the staffmembers will be introduced better another day, and all the horses but Koda are new too, but they will also be introduced another day. I can say though that Little Cloud aka. Claude is Gabe's own private horse, and the only gelding in our herd!

Notte dopo notte, la stagione estiva '23 di #Costez Summer Garden Telgate (BG)  continua a fa ballare con il meglio delle sonorità internazionali. E' un fine settimana, quello del 30 giugno e 1 luglio, che riempie di energia. E' tutto da ballare e da vivere con gli amici, in una location perfetta anche con la pioggia. Infatti l'area estiva di #Costez Summer Club è in gran parte al coperto, oltre che fresca, ovviamente.

Venerdì 30 giugno ecco una festa doppia che prende vita nelle diverse sale di #Costez - Telgate (BG).  C'è Una Mas, ovvero una one night piena di ritmi hot, latini, caldi, perfetta per vivere un caldo tra sorrisi e musica che mette energia, riempie di ritmo ed energia. Ballerine, ballerini e performer dj fanno il resto. E c'è pure l'evento Woodstock Party, che mette sul palco la musica Dj Wonka e la voce di Branca. Senz'altro, anche in questo caso, di energia ce n'è. Eccome.

Sabato 1 luglio ecco Thorn, grande professionista del mixer, della musica e della performance, che propone il suo show Superhero. Capelli d'argento e occhiali scuri, da sempre Thorn regala energia ai top club... al #Costez Summer Garden Telgate c'è di che ballare. Eccome.

Riassumendo, per vivere una esplosiva primavera / estate '23  tra sorrisi e musica che mette energia basta far tappa al #Costez ogni venerdì e sabato notte, quando la musica e le voci fanno scatenare il dancefloor. Ballerine, ballerini e performer dj fanno il resto. Si balla da mezzanotte alle 4 del mattino. E come sarà l'estate '23? Tutta da vivere, è ovvio... ed è pure un'estate piena di ritmo.

Modena: Alla Tenda Marzo inizia nel segno della musica e del teatro

Modena: Alla Tenda Marzo inizia nel segno della musica e del teatro. La Tenda vi aspetta con una settimana all’insegna della musica, suonata e “raccontata”, con improvvisazione teatrale in questi primi giorni di marzo: quattro appuntamenti della rassegna culturale inserita nell’ambito delle attività proposte dall’assessorato alle Politiche giovanili del Comune di Modena. Le iniziative sono a ingresso gratuito e iniziano tutte alle 21. Giovedì 2 ci sarà la terza e ultima serata di “Cantautori su Marte. Incontri senza gravità sulla canzone d’autore”, la kermesse promossa dal Centro Musica di Modena che propone un format fatto di incontri di parole e note per approfondire i temi, appunto, della canzone d’autore e delle nuove frontiere rappresentate dal digitale. Ospite dell’evento è Whitemary, nome d’arte di Biancamaria Scoccia, una delle principali interpreti italiane di musica elettronica, intervistata da Francesco Locane. Musica rock dal vivo nel weekend con due concerti di band locali curati dall’associazione Intendiamoci. Venerdì 3 salgono sul palco le artiste della formazione tutta al femminile Pandorea per presentare il nuovo ep “Bed Of Thorns”: cinque brani socialmente impegnati che spaziano dal diritto all’autodeterminazione alla difesa dei diritti dell’identità di genere fino alla sensibilizzazione sul tema della crisi climatica. Ad accompagnare le artiste sul palco, in apertura, i gruppi Hellfox e Refuse to lose. Sabato 4 ci sarà una serata in collaborazione con Revol Wave orchestra, collettivo di musicisti nato a Modena e attivo da oltre un biennio sul territorio locale. “La grande festa” è il titolo dell’evento che porta nella sala di viale Monte Kosica tre delle formazioni principali che fanno parte del collettivo: Sharasad, Mixotri e The Nihilists. La storia degli Sharasad, nati nel 2019, ha inizio in una piccola sala prove in cui, da un’idea di Lorenzo Balestrazzi e Lorenzo Corcione (chitarre), Gabriele Campioli (voce), Edoardo Cavalletti (basso) e Filippo Ferrari (batteria), nasce la curiosità e la volontà di scrivere e arrangiare brani inediti in grado di unire le diverse influenze rock, stoner, indie e british dei membri. I Mixotri sono un gruppo musicale alternative rock italiano nato nella primavera del 2018 a Modena grazie a Enrico Mercati (voce) e Riccardo Palmieri (chitarra); l’anno successivo esordiscono con “Prospettive dall’oblio”, album autoprodotto, anticipato dal singolo “Mentre la città brucia”. Dopo tre anni, nel 2022 esce il singolo “Sai”: la canzone sancisce ufficialmente il ritorno alle scene della band che ora include anche Francesco Bertoni (chitarra), Andrea Barbari (batteria) e Alessandro Bottura (basso). Ad aprire la serata sono, invece, i The Nihilists, progetto sempre modenese che mixa cantautorato, introspezione e prog psichedelico, accompagnando l’ascoltatore in un viaggio che mette a confronto con le emozioni e pone in una lunga introspezione senza misure dell’ego. Infine, domenica 5 spazio al teatro, con lo spettacolo di improvvisazione “Pari o dispari – Uno spettacolo per metterci in pari…opportunità”, curato da Improgramelot e dedicato alle tematiche delle pari opportunità. The Guardian's This is Europe: Borgen’s predictive powers almost did it again

Frederiksen's slim win dents hopes of left-right coalition

Just occasionally, life imitates art – or almost. The first series of the hit Danish TV drama Borgen, which hit our screens in 2010, featured the sudden, unexpected rise to power of a fictional centrist party, De Moderate,headed by Birgitte Nyborg.

Nyborg went on to became Denmark’s first female prime minister, an achievement repeated a year later, but in real life, by the Social Democrat leader Helle Thorning-Schmidt. This week, Borgen’s predictive powers almost did it again.

For days running up to Tuesday’s election in Denmark – and almost until the last votes were counted – it looked as if neither of the country’s two traditional blocs, on the left and the right, would secure a majority.

A centrist party, Moderaterna, appeared likely to become kingmaker, with the very real possibility that its leader, the former centre-right Liberals prime minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen could emerge as a consensus prime minister.

In the end, it wasn’t to be. Denmark’s current real-life female prime minister, Mette Frederiksen, led her Social Democrats to their best performance in 20 years and her “red” left bloc to the slimmest possible one-seat majority.

The irony is that things might have been easier for her if she had fallen just short: Frederiksen, who formally resigned on Wednesday to start building her new government, campaigned on a promise to assemble a broad, left-right coalition across the political divide, to help the country through difficult and uncertain times.

Had her five-party bloc failed to win enough seats, its members may have backed the prime minister reaching out to Rasmussen, who launched the Moderates with the express aim of shaking up Danish politics through a broad, left-right coalition.

But now that it has a majority, most red bloc members would prefer a pure left-leaning coalition, leaving Frederiksen with the unenviable choice of breaking her campaign pledge, or losing the support of her traditional allies.

She has said she will pursue her plan for a broad coalition. Whether she will achieve it – and whether Rasmussen is prepared to compromise enough to join it, while keeping the left alliance on board – looks worthy of a whole new series of Borgen.

Denmark’s election also saw the collapse of the far-right, anti-immigration Danish People’s party, whose work is mostly done: Denmark’s immigration policy is arguably Europe’s toughest.

JUST A LIL' BASIC TRAINING

Today's training was mostly very basic, but not less great for that matter! Koda was out for some basic training in one of our two arenas, and she was being such a good girl. She is very easy for the helpers, and does prefer no rein contact whatsoever, which is indeed very possible as she moves easily for legs and weight.

It's clear that she enjoys being ridden, but most of all taken on adventures! Like when we rode from the arena to the stables just for the heck of it. Very enjoyable indeed!

She really enjoyed a good grooming afterwards! The colours in this picture is slightly sadder though, as our best stallion DER Justa Splash Bomb past away shortly after this picture was taken.

He seemed to have had a stroke of some kind, because one second he was standing, chewing hay happily, and the next he was on the ground in cramps before two seconds later to close his eyes and draw his last breathe. I wasn't even able to get my phone out to call the vet, which was what Mateo shouted I should do. I just was in shook, as my husband tried to get him to breathe again.

Vet came to the conclusion that he had had some kind of stroke. We will forever keep him in our hearts, and hope that RRS Fosmanta - who had been covered by him just a few months prior - will give us a son or a daughter after him.

Disney Investor Day: tutte le novità → Marvel Studios

 Babbo Natale ha fatto visita prima a tutti i bambini (ormai cresciuti) che amano abbandonarsi tra le braccia della Casa di Topolino. Con un video di 3 ore e mezza pubblicati sul sito ufficiale DisneyCompany sono state presentate le novità dei prossimi anni che saranno visibili sia sulla celebre piattaforma streaming Disney+ che al cinema, sia in esclusiva per le sole sale cinematografiche che in versione Premium per Disney+, come già fatto per l’uscita di Mulan in liveaction. 

L’annuncio più importante è stato l’inserimento nel gruppo di canali visibili su Disney+, del canale Star che permetto l’accesso a contenuti per un pubblico più adulto e che permette di aggiungere titoli nei vari box in possesso alla Disney che sono ancora sotto la gestione della 20thCentury (esempio Logan o la saga di Alien, la quale sarà anche la sorgente per una serie che sarà prodotta dalla stessa Disney). Ma questa aggiunta porta ad un aumento del prezzo mensile di 2euro arrivando ad 8.99 euro/mese.

Ora provo a presentare tutte le novità dividendole in box, non facile tante sono le novità, mi sa che saremo presi nel turbine della Disney per i prossimi10 anni ancora. 

la Marvel Studios dopo i 23 film della saga Infinity, non ha finito di sfornare titoli per il cinema, con tre lungometraggi, rispetto a quelli che già aspettavamo: Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, il terzo film nel franchise di Ant-Man, e Fantastic Four, che riporta in vita la famiglia Marvel che ha aperto al successo planetario, nel 2005.

Lungometraggi: 

Black Widow, in arrivo nelle sale americane il 7 maggio 2021, vede Scarlett Johansson nei panni di Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow. Spin-off delle origini della vedova nera, nel tempo che divide infinity war ad Endgame.  Diretto da Cate Shortland

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, in arrivo nelle sale americane il 9 luglio 2021, è interpretato da Simu Liu nel ruolo di Shang-Chi, che deve confrontarsi con il passato che pensava di essersi lasciato alle spalle quando è stato trascinato nella rete della misteriosa organizzazione Ten Rings. Diretto da Destin Daniel Cretton. 

Eternals, in arrivo nelle sale americane il 5 novembre 2021, è un lungometraggio che presenta il più recente “nuovo” gruppo di Supereroi dell’MCU in un’epica storia che abbraccia migliaia di anni. Diretto da Chloé Zhao.

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, che debutterà nelle sale americane il 25 marzo 2022, è attualmente in produzione ed è interpretato da Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams e Chiwetel Ejiofor (tutto il gruppo del primo Doctor Strange).  Diretto da Sam Raimi, l’incredibile avventura (forse con un bollino vietato minori 14 !! grande Sam Raimi) che si collega agli eventi di WandaVision e del prossimo film di Spider-Man. 

Thor: Love and Thunder, che arriverà nelle sale americane il 6 maggio 2022, darà il via alle riprese il mese prossimo diretto dal regista Taika Waititi. Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman e Tessa Thompson riprendono i propri ruoli, insieme a Christian Bale, che interpreta l’antagonista Gorr the God Butcher. 

Black Panther 2, che arriverà nelle sale americane l’8 luglio 2022, è scritto e diretto da Ryan Coogler. verrà onorata l’eredità di Chadwick Boseman e la sua interpretazione di T’Challa, Black Panther, per la Marvel Studios non affiderà il personaggio a un nuovo attore.

Blade è un nuovo lungometraggio con Mahershala Ali nel ruolo del protagonista.

Captain Marvel 2, un nuovo lungometraggio che arriverà nelle sale americane l’11 novembre 2022, è diretto da Nia DaCosta. Brie Larson interpreta Carol Danvers, insieme a Iman Vellani, che fa il suo debutto in Ms. Marvel, e Teyonah Parris, che interpreta Monica Rambeau da grande, un personaggio introdotto come una bambina in Captain Marvel che ritorna nell’MCU da adulta in WandaVision.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania sarà diretto dal regista di Ant-Man Peyton Reed.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 è previsto per il 2023 con il regista James Gunn 

Fantastic Four, diretto da Jon Watts.

WandaVision, in arrivo su Disney+ il 15 gennaio 2021. Wanda Maximoff e Visione sono due individui dotati di super poteri che conducono vite di periferia idealizzate, ma iniziano a sospettare che ogni cosa non sia come sembra.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, in arrivo su Disney+ il 19 marzo 2021, è una nuova serie interpretata da Anthony Mackie nei panni di Sam Wilson alias The Falcon, e da Sebastian Stan in quelli di Bucky Barnes alias The Winter Soldier.dopo gli eventi di Avengers: Endgame, si uniscono in un’avventura globale che mette alla prova le loro abilità… e la loro pazienza. 

Loki debutterà su Disney+ a maggio 2021 con protagonista Loki, fuori dall’ombra di suo fratello in una nuova serie che si svolge dopo gli eventi di Avengers: Endgame.

What If…? capovolge la sceneggiatura dell’Universo Cinematografico Marvel, rielaborando in modi inaspettati eventi celebri dei film. In arrivo su Disney+ nell’estate del 2021

Ms. Marvel, in arrivo su Disney+ alla fine del 2021, è una nuova serie che introduce Kamala Khan, una sedicenne americana pakistana che cresce a Jersey City. Brillante studentessa, appassionata di videogiochi e vorace scrittrice di fan-fiction, ha una particolare affinità con i Supereroi, in particolare con Captain Marvel.

Hawkeye, che debutta su Disney+ alla fine del 2021, è interpretata da Jeremy Renner nei panni di Occhio di Falco, che si unisce a un altro noto arciere dei fumetti Marvel, Kate Bishop, interpretata da Hailee Steinfeld.

She-Hulk è una nuova serie comica in arrivo su Disney+, con Tatiana Maslany nel ruolo di She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, un avvocato specializzato in cause legali orientate al sovrumano.

Moon Knight è una nuova serie creata per Disney+. Diretta da Mohamed Diab, l’avventura ricca di azione presenta un complesso vigilante che soffre di un disturbo dissociativo dell’identità.

Secret Invasion è una serie appena annunciata in arrivo su Disney+, che vede Samuel L. Jackson nei panni di Nick Fury e Ben Mendelsohn nei panni dello Skrull Talos, personaggi che si sono incontrati per la prima volta in Capitan Marvel. La serie di eventi comici crossover mostra una fazione di Skrull mutaforma che si sono infiltrati sulla Terra per anni.

Ironheart, la seconda delle serie appena annunciate in arrivo su Disney+, è interpretata da Dominique Thorne nel ruolo di Riri Williams, un genio inventore che crea l’armatura più avanzata dai tempi di Iron Man.

Armor Wars, basato sulla classica serie a fumetti Marvel, arriva su Disney+ con Don Cheadle nei panni di James Rhodes, alias War Machine, che deve affrontare quello che succede quando la tecnologia di Tony Stark cade nelle mani sbagliate.

Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, in arrivo su Disney+ durante il periodo delle feste nel 2022, è scritto e diretto dal veterano dei Guardiani della Galassia, James Gunn.

I Am Groot presenta l’amatissimo baby albero preferito da tutti in una serie di cortometraggi originali in arrivo su Disney+.
