hi why tf am i crying. the way every character is intertwined, i love it holy shit.

li ming's storyline is so good, fourth is doing an incredible job i dont even know what to say. the scenes at his high school w the talks about what uni they're all choosing, the mentions of money and loans while he sits silently, the talk about girlfriends that he avoids. then follow up with him being exhausted by his uncle's opinions amd attentions like any regular teenager trying to figure out who they wanna be while jim's just trying to figure out whats going on in his head. then cut to li mings frustration turning to gentleness as he works at heart's house and a slow friendship starts building like ??????? itS SO GOOD?

saleng and praew are so great too, i love the banter they had at the start, added to by li ming and then gaipa, so you see this group of younger people figuring out their lives and just living day to day - turns into oh my god praew's pregnant and what are we going to do. and the first person they turn to is jim.

it's so interesting to me that jim doesn't consider himself a good person to make a home with, and yet he's made a home for every single person in this series so far. he's the reason why everyone's come together and he looks out for everyone and they look out for him. i wanted to cry when he bought the necklace for praew's dowry and gave it to leng

that's what i like about wen though. because jim doesn't see this, all he sees are the financial problems and the exhaustion from work and a nephew who ignores him and a self that's too closed off to let anyone in deeper. and wen, whos so clearly an outsider to this family jim has made, sees so much more of it and is trying to reach out bc that's what he wants. he wants to be part of that family. he wants that home.
