NDA MPs meet in the presence of PM Modi, agenda- to win more seats in 2024 Assembly elections
On Monday, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs concluded a meeting with the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as the agenda. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present in the meeting along with Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
MPs from all across the nation including Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal attended the meeting where a target was set to contribute towards making India more developed in the next 25 years which would start with winning more seats in the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
A senior party leader, Sukanta Majumdar told the press, "Today there was a meeting of NDA MPs from Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha. Two videos related to each state were shown in the meeting, in one video development works done by the central govt in these states were shown and in the second video corruption done by these state governments was shown...Through this video, it was shown how development works were being done in non-BJP-ruled states with the help of the central government."
"PM Modi said that we have to win more seats this time and make India a developed country in the next 25 years...," he added.
further, he also explained how the central government tax collection for Bengal has risen to 42% since the Modi government came into power. during the UPA government, it was set at 32%.
during the meeting, a video was played that showcased the developmental plans done by the NDA government in Bengal and also the violence in West Bengal. "During the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that till now the name of UPA was associated with the corrupt policy of the UPA government such as 2G, 3G, Coalgate, jijaji scams, so now its name had been changed to I.N.D.I.A. They were not able to carry forward the name UPA so it was renamed as I.N.D.I.A. Now I.N.D.I.A is the second form of UPA and it has been made only to mislead the public," Mr Majumdar explained.

Tumblr media
http://headlinesindia.in/Ghulam-Nabi-Azad-told-the-media-today-that-when-Narendra-Modi-called-me

OPINION: Pagpapalaya kay de Lima, Pruweba nga ba ng Magandang Sistemang Panghustisya?
Tumblr media
Ginagawa at pinamumukha silang sinungaling, traydor, at kriminal.
// nina KC Dela Cruz at Eda White

Filipinos are not Asians because Asians are smart
Reposting an essay we had to write a reaction paper about back in college. This is worth the read.
Don’t be fooled at once by the title of the entry. The story behind that statement excludes us.
Last year, a friend left the Philippines and went to the United States. In his German class, the students were international. The professor asked who the Asians were and one by one the Asian students introduced themselves. And so it went, the Chinese, the Koreans, the Vietnamese, the Singaporeans etc. all raised their hands. Finally the professor calls this Filipino and asks,
Professor: Where are you from?
Filipino: Philippines
Professor: Oh, Filipinos are not Asians! They are Pacific Islanders! Because ASIANS ARE SMART…
In the United States, it is already being taught in schools that Filipinos are not Asians—that we are Pacific Islanders. While there is a lot of reaction against it, I am surprised that many intelligent Filipinos abroad have accepted this without question.
Pacific Islands are places like Samoa, Hawaii, Tahiti, Guam, Cook Islands, Mariana Islands—and their common denominator? Most of them do not possess their own national and political identities—they are islands under the jurisdiction and protection of more powerful countries like USA, France and New Zealand. Most of these Pacific Islands are still referred to as “indigenous natives.” They have very, very small populations and they have no global role or power. While they have their own unique culture and characteristics, they do not hail from any great civilization in the past.
What is even sad, however, is that even Pacific Islanders do not like and do not accept Filipinos! One good example are Hawaiian tourists we met in China. When they learned that we were Filipinos, they disgustingly uttered , “You eat Balot!” and avoided us like a plague.
The statement of this American guy, filled with racism obviously merits strong disapproval. In fact, our friend was so angry after having been humiliated in front of the class. The logical thing to say, is that the Philippines IS part of the ASEAN group of nations. We can also say that Japan is an island in the Pacific Ocean but is not considered a Pacific Island. But we should ask—why would no one dare to call the Japanese people Pacific Islanders? Why pick on the Philippines?
Simple. Because Japan has produced cars and we have produced dried mangoes and pastillas. The Philippines has been so left behind by Asian countries that foreigners shake their heads and ask, “What happened to your country?” Let us not even compare the Philippines with the four Tiger economies, ‘cuz they’re just way way way too far ahead. What about Vietnam and Thailand? I read that for every one Filipino who has a Master’s Degree, Vietnam has 6, Thailand has 25 and Singapore has 200. But why bother to be educated when the national dream is to go abroad? We are scattered from Hongkong to Kazakhstan, from Italy to even North Korea. Thousands of our doctors are becoming nurses. Our teachers become caregivers. Our women become entertainers and prostitutes. Our young people only know one course and that is nursing. Why would foreigners respect us when we do not even respect ourselves? We are the country of Gucci Gangs—our elite own Picassos and they simply have no heart to alleviate and educate the masses, as F. Sionil Jose and Brian Gorrell—the pitiful Australian guy who was robbed by DJ Montano—sadly pointed out.
I am reminded of Condoleezza Rice, the first black woman to become the United States Secretary of State. She was born in Alabama and suffered discrimination on account of her color. But she was taught from a young age by her father, that she had to be “twice as good”and prove that she was deserving of advancement. Condoleezza Rice explains, “I was going to be so well prepared, and I was going to do all of these things that were revered in white society SO WELL, that I would be armored somehow from racism. I would be able to confront white society on its own terms.” (Washington Post, Lessons of Might and Right, How Segregation and an Indomitable Family Shaped National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, By Dale Russakoff, September 9, 2001)
The only way to answer people, who insist that we are uncivilized tribes is not by shooting off our mouths. The only answer is to beat them by studying and working ten times harder than the rest—to beat them not just once or twice, but to do so consistently for the next 20,30, 40, 50 years. Unless we Filipinos are prepared to love our country, and sacrifice ourselves by doing the extra-mile, we really deserve to be called stupid.

DREAM DESTINATION : India
India counter occupies the greater part of South Asia there is the national capital New Delhi built in the 20th century. India is made up of 28  States and Eighth Union territories Its government is a constitutional republic that represents a highly diverse population consisting of thousands of ethnic groups and hundreds of languages. India has a diverse and distinct culture that has been developing for thousands of years. In religion, India is considered the birthplace of some of the world's major religions Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, and Sikhism but Hinduism remains the most popular.
Being the world's second most populous nation (after China), the constitution recognizes 15 regional languages but Hindi and English are recognized as the official language. And when we are talking about a style of clothing they have colorful silk and Saris are what many can picture women wearing while men traditionally wear a Dhoti. Saris vary from 5 to 9 yards long and 2 to 4 feet and breadth, while Dhoti is an unstitched piece of clothes ranging from 4 to 5 yards in length and tied around the waist and legs. In India, they also have their own Do's and Don'ts. Some of their Do's are, to treat Indian elders with visible respect, be patient when making decisions or negotiating with your Indian counterpart, try to dress conservatively, and speak respectfully out of respect for your Indian counterpart. Indians are very forgiving towards foreigners who aren't always aware of the etiquette of Indian culture, this can help you avoid embarrassing mistakes. These are just some of their Don'ts. Start with, don't wear tight or revealing closing, don't wear your shoes inside, don't point your feet or finger at people, don't eat food or pass objects with your left hand, because the left hand is considered to be unclean in India. Don't always be polite, don't outright decline an invitation or request, don't expect people to be punctual, don't expect people to respect your personal space, don't show affection in public, don't overlook your body language, and lastly don't judge the whole country. These are the rules and regulations in India though we have our own rules and regulations we just need to follow and respect each rule, especially in India.
Indian food and spices are legendary for their medical purposes, but Indian cuisine can be difficult to adjust because they have their own version and style of cooking. Spices such as cumin, turmeric, and cardamon have been used for thousands of years. Basmati rice and pulses are staples of the Indian diet, other religious groups are vegetarian or have certain limitations, and lamb and chicken are most common for those who do eat meat. Indian food will introduce you to many flavors, tastes, and styles of cooking and the ingredients used are very different from other countries. As you travel across India you will have many options for trying authentic flavors without having to worry too much about the expenses, the local food is unique and often cheap. Accommodations in Indian homestays are available for people to rent out the vacations, they are close to nature and filled with hills or beaches. Homestays offer guests an authentic living experience and dining at a reasonable cost. Food served at homestays is delicious, homely, and at a nominal cost. Chaat, kachori, choli bhature, idli, dosa, and paratha. These are just some of the delicious dishes can enjoy in India from small-in-the-wall shops, dishing out regional specialties. The souvenirs in India make excellent holiday mementos, from traditional handicrafts to tasty spices, you simply need to take home a few unique souvenirs. Whether you are looking for something unique or just a simple memento of your trip, these souvenirs from India will give you a bit of inspiration when shopping. These are your choices to take and buy a souvenir to bring home. Start with traditional handicrafts from India, when choosing and finding a souvenir in handicraft it is important to find out the history and the meaning of the craft so that you can truly appreciate it. You can also take these souvenirs, spices from India, tea from India, a book from India, clothing from India, jewelry from India, sarees from India, paintings from India, ayurvedic products from India, and incense sticks from India, lastly, the Rajasthani textiles from India, these are the 11 souvenirs from India, choose what suits your type.
India's best place to visit are Kashmir, Kashmir which lies in the northernmost region of the country, the best time to visit Kashmir is around March to October for the green landscape and from December to February for snow. Muslim Law Board Holds Late-Night Meeting in Response to PM Modi’s Call for Uniform Civil Code
In the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent push for a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in India, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) held a late-night meeting to discuss the implications and concerns raised by the proposed legislation. The meeting, which lasted for several hours, saw prominent members of the Muslim community engaging in a passionate debate over the potential impact of a uniform civil code on Islamic personal laws. This is the latest political news in Hindi.
The Prime Minister's call for a UCC, which aims to provide a common set of laws governing personal matters such as marriage, divorce, inheritance, and adoption for all citizens regardless of their religious affiliation, has been met with both support and criticism. While proponents argue that a UCC would promote gender equality and secularism, opponents raise concerns about the potential erosion of religious and cultural diversity in the country.
The AIMPLB, an influential body representing the Muslim community's interests, expressed its apprehensions during the meeting. Maulana Abdul Rahman, a prominent member of the board, stated, "We understand the need for a harmonious society, but any move towards a uniform civil code should not compromise the rights and practices guaranteed to religious minorities. Islamic personal laws have a long-standing history and are deeply rooted in our faith."
Several other members echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the need to protect the religious and cultural rights of Muslims while striving for a more equitable society. The AIMPLB also expressed its intention to engage in constructive dialogue with the government to address these concerns and ensure that any proposed legislation does not marginalize any particular religious community.
Meanwhile, supporters of the UCC argue that the implementation of a common set of laws would promote social cohesion and equal rights for all citizens, regardless of their religious background. They contend that a uniform civil code would bring about a more progressive and inclusive society, where personal laws are based on principles of justice and equality rather than religious affiliation.
The late-night meeting of the AIMPLB comes as a significant development in the ongoing national debate surrounding the implementation of a uniform civil code in India. The government has previously indicated its intention to push for legislative reforms in this regard, citing the need for a more harmonious and unified legal framework in the country.
The meeting concluded with the AIMPLB resolving to continue its engagement with various stakeholders, including legal experts, scholars, and community leaders, to present a comprehensive perspective on the potential impact of a uniform civil code on Islamic personal laws. The board expressed its commitment to preserving the rights and interests of the Muslim community while striving for a balanced and inclusive legal framework.
As the discussion surrounding the Uniform Civil Code intensifies, it remains to be seen how the government will navigate the diverse perspectives and concerns raised by different religious and cultural groups. The AIMPLB's late-night meeting signals the beginning of a crucial dialogue, which will shape the future course of India's legal landscape and societal fabric.
