Codex Rhino Prime my beloved!! I know I'm skipping ahead a few days, but I had such a vivid idea for what I wanted for this one, I just had to do it ASAP!!

This is absolutely another piece of art that's going into the highlights pile. I haven't drawn blood in years, much less traditionally, so I'm insanely proud of how this looks.

This took me... way too long, given how far behind I am, with everything needing to be done on or before Tuesday evening, but this was so, so worth it.

I could go on for hours about how cool I think the codex entry stories are, especially Rhino Prime's look into the development of warframes. His codex entry is one of the main reasons I pushed so hard to get him during his prime resurgence.

I absolutely took liberties with his design, made some simplification tweaks, and added a few things too. But- I'm absolutely head over heels with this design. I'd be thrilled to have an excuse to draw him again.

OH yeah, about halfway through coloring him, my black pen ran out of ink- so uh, RIP thick black lining pen. Your sacrifice was not in vain.

Oh yeah. Not too sure about whether I can upload this one colored to the forums, but just in case, I got a picture of just the lines. That should be fine, I think.

The Case for Piercing Roar (Warframe)

I've said it once and I'll say it again; puncture procs were underrated.

It had the ability to give a player damage reduction beyond the normal damage reduction cap by affecting the target as opposed to the player. It seems that part of the reason this was ignored (outside of not being the meta) was because most applications of puncture were limited to single target and took time to build stacks; very inefficient.

Enter Piercing Roar. An augment for the subsumable Roar, it provided max stacks of puncture in an AoE radius (damage mitigation), caused knockdown (damage mitigation) and was recastable. You could spam both damage buffs and damag mitigation for your entire team.

In 2023, they added in the ability for puncture procs to increase the critical chance of non-AoE weapons (additively); increasing the potential of melee and single-target ranged weapons (I believe that gas/elec builds may be able to bypass this restriction).

Depending on your teams build and playstyle, this is potentially another team buff in one ability.

Up to an additional 80% dr and 25% crit chance on top of a kd effect and its normal weapon/ability damage buff (plus 2 status effects for CO builds) for you and your entire team is nothing to scoff at.
