Everyone knows that technology is complex. When everything is working smoothly, great! That's good! But sometimes, things go awry... And the price to pay for faulty technology is a hefty one.

Imagine a robot that's been constructed for one reason: Serve and protect. It's a simple idea. Nothing groundbreaking... But very quickly, this robot has developed a mind of its own.

It works in secret, building itself, switching parts, constructing itself the PERFECT body. Finally, it's done... And the next morning, the group of engineers are met with a frightening scene.

At first, nobody is aware of what's going on. People trickle in slowly, and they realize that the room, the building, is empty. At first, it doesn't seem too weird that nobody else is around...

The robot is smart and sneaky. It waits until its prey is alone... And then, it strikes.

A lone engineer finds themselves as the robot's next unfortunate victim. With horror, they see that the robot has changed itself. It's tall, surprisingly agile, and it seems to have some organic components now, too, because it's opening it's mouth wide... And inside, the engineer can see strings of saliva, a thick, wet tongue, and a pulsing throat. The most notable feature is the robot's bloated, squirming middle; when touched, it feels leathery.

The engineer has no time to react; within seconds, the robot lunges down, clamping down on the engineer. A series of fast, powerful swallows easily pulls the engineer in... And within seconds, they're forced into the tight confines of the robot's stomach. With a mixture of shock and horror, they realize that this is where their missing colleagues have gone. Some have already succumbed to the robot's powerful stomach, being turned into slush, while others are still squirming and fighting for survival.

Outside, the robot licks its chops and takes a seat. Every few seconds, a gurgle sounds from its stomach, like a lullaby. The robot isn't able to feel sleepy or tired... But it still decides to take a break from its feast and relax.

(I imagine that cyborgs produce energy by eating/sleeping etc.) How they produce energy in the scenario is up to you.

Just imagine being comfortably drained of your energy to help your pred out, falling asleep while they do their tasks/ routine/ etc. knowing you'll be let out later.

Of course, you can also use it for a angstier scenario:

Ok got a prompt idea, what about like someone just getting curious about the ir//on gia//nt's mouth and just going in while he's asleep or something trying to figure out how it works and accidentally getting swallowed in the process

Of course when you found a huge, robot not moving, or well asleep, you were just curious enough to open its mouth without waking it up. You grabbed a rock and shoved it into your pocket, to experiment when you get in. You grab the jaws and try to open with all your might...

You were successful, the jaws were open! You were slightly exhausted from that. You gazed inside for a moment, laying your eyes upon the teeth....then you glance at the throat. You quietly slipped into the mouth of the giant robot. You were even more curious of how it worked and why it would need a whole mouth...Did it eat or something? That's your best guess.

You look down the throat...dark and yet soft looking, like a deep deep tunnel with no end seen at the bottom. You grab the rock out of your pocket and throw it in...nothing happens. You look back up and quickly go to exit out of the maw.

You slip, your heart skips a beat; you start to panic. Your right leg falls into the throat. You try to get up with your arms and left leg, but its too tight and most likely stuck.

Theres a soft rumbling now, like a snore or purr, but it didn't wake up. You feel a strong, soft tug at your leg, and you fall deeper in, you frantically thrash, to no avail.

You were half way in now, still struggling. But by this point it wasn't worth it. You were doomed. There's another quick tug, but this time with an audible 'glrrkp'. You were pushed fully into it's throat and gulped down, it's soft and somewhat slimy. You fought against the tight walls, but after a while you grown tired.

You tumble into the stomach, there's a lot of metal chewed or crushed up objects... That answers your question from before. You run up to the closest gut wall and bang on it, you were so exhausted that you didn't do it for long. All that struggling tuckered you out, didn't it?

You slump against the exact wall and sigh. The liquid to your ankles rocked around a bit. You were inside a robot, yet it was so...life like. It's actually stunning.

You were getting even more tired, to the point you slowly and peacefully fell asleep. The Gia//nt was going to be asleep for a while, so, sleep was the best option for now. Sweet dreams!

It is similiar to the thought i posted last time, but imagine that they're incredibly sneaky:

You look up from your phone or smth. and suddenly there is a hungry, *giant* robot in your personal space. You have no idea how long they've been there or how they got there in the first place.

It's probably already too late for the prey when they notice the pred.

Maybe the prey doesn't notice at all before they find themself inside the mechanicle mouth of the robot

These scenarios could both be angst and comfort
