sorry to randomly bring this up but. I think the thing that makes Kenstewy stand out to me so much is how their scenes feel so earnest ? to the point that they BOTH feel like almost different characters when they interact with each other. Like the way Kendall has a hard time looking everyone, even his own FAMILY in the eyes, but with Stewy he doesn't flinch and he holds steady eye contact almost all the time (and when he doesn't, stewy searches out his gaze but let's not get into it) .. the way Stewy never shies away from telling people what's on his mind in a totally blunt way but with Kendall he still tries to be nice about whatever he says.. like okay, Argestes:

first of all, they're like actively fighting and this is how they interact, FIRST time seeing each other since the big betrayal btw

then also the fact that Kendall genuinely wants to warn Stewy about the acquistion.. like he's NOT lying, at that point they ARE about to acquire Pierce and it WOULD kill their approach and he wants to warn him, which is fair enough considering everything that happened.

but then also:

even when Stewy's telling him he doesn't trust him he's nice about it but you can STILL tell kendall is really hurt by it.... like ... and re: Kendall being visibly hurt by Stewy saying 'I don't trust you' .. this is the same guy whose been told 'everyone here fucking hates you' 'x fucking hates you' millions of times and has essentially reacted with 'yeah okay, whatever, I can handle it' each time. but THAT'S his reaction to this ?! in a show where there is SO little space for genuine affection/consideration even between characters who are related or married .. the fact that these two seem to so genuinely care abt each other is kind of shocking.....

I had a day off today. It softly rained on and off all day and so I couldn’t really incorporate any boxing into my workout today. Went out for coffee. Had a decent workout. Got unexpectedly asked to come bartend for a few hours and took it up, because why not? What the fuck else am I doing to do on a Monday night? It was pretty dead and I didn’t feel vital to the overall flow of the night so I just chatted with people and made the occasional drink. I hope the weather is nicer tomorrow but Autumn’s starting to entrench itself already and we aren’t even in April yet. I’m getting mixed feelings from this woman I work with, I can’t tell if she’s really into me, the way she was looking at me on Saturday night was intense. She was out drinking with friends and so I’d occasionally turn to look at them and she was watching me. I was feeling heat, I saw that glimmer in her eye. She called me an “Old Soul” and then I sang Simple Man by Skynyrd for her because she didn’t know it. I get the feeling one of her friends doesn’t particularly like me though. The other two she was with were blushing and couldn’t keep their shit together when they were talking to me though. Anyway, this one woman that I got this bad feeling from, she’s got a sort of cunty, snobby vibe. What do I know though? She could be lovely and like me and I basically just called her a cunt. She’ll live, and so will I. People that live in Melbourne can get all up in their own shit about people that aren’t from the city, it’s this superiority complex, like I live on the coast and don’t know shit from Shinola. Not even Sydneysiders are as bad as Melbournians. I lived in Melbourne for years and probably fucked her sister or best friend or something and never got back in touch. One more for the good guys.

Chevrolet is celebrating the retirement of the Gen Six Camaro by offering a final special Collector’s Edition on the LT/RS, LT1, SS and ZL1 trims. The 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition will resurface ties that date back to the development of the first-generation Camaro. The original codename for the Camaro in the 1960s was Panther, which is the name of this Collector’s Edition as well. This recognizes that name through its colors, tones, design and panther representations. The Collector’s Edition Camaro will have a new Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat paint, Satin Black accent strips, 20-inch Satin Black or optional Polished Forged Wheels, and the front splitter from the 1LE package. All of the vehicles will receive a serialized steering wheel badge representing where the vehicle was built, and the front fender script will integrate a panther into the “R”. The Collector’s Edition will also come with a welcome kit, and the ZL1 owners will receive a custom Shinola watch. Dealers begin accepting orders for the 2024 Camaro on June 15th, with a starting MSRP of $32,495 for the LT coupe, and $38,495 for the LT convertible. It’s that time of year again!

I stopped into Shinola’s flagship store on Canfield yesterday to finally pick up my 2024 Runwell Planner. I was pleasantly surprised they were on sale for 40% off so I got mine for $18 this year instead of $30 like last. ;)

I had my planner monogrammed, of course, and watched as my new journal was stamped in gold. Excited to organize all my ideas and events in the new year!
