diary entry four

Not a carcuterie board this time but just as fun and just as delicious. I got this sushi from my neighbour and decided to have some italian red wine with it. Since I live in a european country and much of the food on offer here has been made palatable to white people I rarely had the chance to try something truly  different. I’m still unsure how different edamame really is to what’s usually on offer here, but it was a new experience to me and I’m really happy I had it. It was delicious and I’ll certainly be ordering it whenever I have the chance form now on. Eating this, I relaized just how intensely the environment we live in and the people we’re surrounded by influence our behaviours and choices. Edamame seriously isn’t that big of a deal but I know that my environment truly never gave me the chance to try it before.
