NCIS is gearing up to ring in a special milestone with the April 15th episode as the franchise reaches 1,000 episodes overall. But how does it all break down? Below, we’re revealing how each of the current and former spinoffs contributed to the flagship’s upcoming installment.
Tumblr media
Eddy Chen/CBS
NCIS (464 EPISODES)
Airdates: September 23, 2003–present
The Brief: “What makes NCIS so damn special?” That question is furiously put to Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) by his estranged son, Jared (Spence D. Moore II), in the NCIS franchise’s 1,000th episode. Launched in 2003, NCIS has four spinoffs and two highly anticipated shows coming — NCIS: Origins and a Michael Weatherly–Cote de Pablo project nicknamed NCIS: Europe.
The younger Vance makes his query when the two cross paths at his mom’s gravesite. Vance’s wife was killed by terrorists in 2013, and Jared can’t comprehend why his dad is so dedicated to a job that put their family in danger.
Make that puts: Vance is soon in peril and the team under attack by an enemy from the past. “We’ve heard this baddie’s name before,” exec producer Steven D. Binder told us at a celebration on the set. “As in some of our better episodes, our people risk their lives for each other. We pay homage to the O.G. NCIS and the other series.”
Guest star alert: Assisting via satellite feed are Los Angeles agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Hawai‘i boss Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey). The cavalry also includes a longtime NCIS ally, former FBI agent Tobias Fornell (Joe Spano).
In a scene we observed, forensic scientist Kasie (Diona Reasonover) reviews evidence with Torres (Wilmer Valderrama). Jared, desperate to help, has slept there overnight. “Kasie connects with Jared and becomes a mentor in a way,” Reasonover says.
Valderrama hints it all gets explosive, promising “a big, big set piece; all of us are involved.” And one agent does something new: “We see McGee in a position you’ve never seen him in in 20 years,” spills Sean Murray. Says Gary Cole, who plays team leader Alden Parker, “We witness some fragility of what this job entails, the obstacles that could pop up unexpectedly.”

NCIS: New Orleans (155 EPISODES)
Airdates: September 23, 2014–May 23, 2021
The Brief: The Big Easy’s brassy, buoyant spirit infused the franchise’s third title, shot memorably on location. In fact, lead Scott Bakula once told TV Guide Magazine about a great only-in-NOLA moment: “being in the middle of the Mississippi River, captaining a tugboat!” His honest boss Dwayne Pride was based on a real New Orleans lawman, retired naval investigator D’Wayne Swear, who served as a consultant.

Daniel Asher Smith/Paramount+
NCIS: Sydney (8 EPISODES)
Airdates: November 10, 2023–present
The Brief: “In Australia, everything can kill you,” executive producer Morgan O’Neill cracked to TV Guide Magazine when the Oz-set new kid on the block arrived last year. Down Under has proved plenty perilous for tough NCIS Special Agent Captain Michelle Mackey (Olivia Swann) and her savvy partner-in-crime-fighting, Australian Federal Police Sergeant JD Dempsey (Todd Lasance). After locking horns, the American and the Aussie warmed to each other. But all may be undone thanks to JD going rogue in the finale — crikey! Good news for fans left in suspense: Sydney was just renewed!
Tumblr media
Karen Neal/CBS
NCIS: Hawai‘i  (50 EPISODES)
Airdates: September 20, 2021–present
The Brief: NCIS said aloha to the franchise’s third offshoot and first female special agent in charge, hardworking divorced mom Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey), in 2021. “I feel like I’m in a movie: Platoon meets Jurassic Park,” Lachey told TV Guide Magazine at the time. Before shooting on lush Oahu began, production held a traditional Hawaiian blessing. The island culture has defined the series, with unique cases involving paniolos (Hawaiian cowboys) and Pearl Harbor survivors. Tennant’s team, a blend of mainland transplants and locals like surfer Kai Holman (Alex Tarrant), has welcomed other NCIS franchise agents for joint ops. And now L.A.’s Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) is on the island!
Tumblr media
Ron P. Jaffe/CBS
NCIS: Los Angeles (323 EPISODES)
Airdates:September 22, 2009–May 21, 2023
The Brief: For a thrilling 14 seasons, the first spinoff’s Office of Special Projects hit the sunny streets of L.A. to chase down a rap sheet of baddies from Russian mobsters to psychotic serial killers — even an office mole. Under the management of no-nonsense Henrietta “Hetty” Lange (Linda Hunt), ex–Navy SEAL Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) and loner Grisha “G” Callen (Chris O’Donnell) were special agents with banter as quick as their draw. But both had endured pain: for Sam, a wife murdered by a terrorist; for G, a rocky childhood in foster care and a brutal secret program to train kids in spycraft.
Fans rooted for romance between team members Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), whose entertaining undercover missions included posing as cult members and suburban marrieds. The cast was equally tight. O’Donnell says, “The first day on set, the original NCIS cast came in. They were like a family. I remember looking at Dani and LL thinking, ‘Are we ever going to get as close?’ Sure enough, we did.”

Author: The Crime Files
Summary: The team, including Parker, find out about your little crush on him.
Main character(s): Alden Parker, Timothy McGee, Nick Torres and Jimmy Palmer
Notes: This my first time writing for Alden Parker so, hopefully it’s okay and you guys like it!
The familiar ding! of the elevator echos throughout the bullpen as you familiarise yourself with the case, trying to find a correlation amidst all the evidence. Perplexed by the witness’s statement, you decide to seek clarification from the senior field agent but with your attention firmly fixed on the file in your hands, you end up walking directly into Alden Parker, the newest addition to the team.
“I-I’m sorry, sir.”
“Don’t be,” he says with a kind-hearted smile. “Flores de hojaldre? It’s a Spanish specialty, translates to ‘flowers of puff pastry’.” He explains, offering you the box filled with the international pastries.
“Thank you, sir.” You accept his generous offer with a sweet smile before remembering your former boss, Leroy Jethro Gibbs, and his intense dislike of the use of the word ‘sir’. “I mean, Parker… uh, Agent Parker.”
“You can call me ‘sir’, doesn’t bother me. In fact... I kinda like it.”
His green-tinted eyes, infused with warm golden hues, linger on yours as the ghost of a smirk begins to frame his handsome features, almost hidden beneath the darkened moustache. The intense gaze, along with his playful confession, prompts a subtle shade of vibrant crimson to colour your cheeks before watching him make his way towards Director Vance’s office. As he disappears up the flight of stairs, McGee and Torres turn their attention towards you as they share a knowing glance.
“What,” you ask.
“You've got a crush on the new guy,” teases Torres.
“Just like you did with Gibbs,” adds McGee.
“I... oh my god, is it that obvious?” They both nod, attempting to suppress their laughter.
“Didn’t know you had a type,” McGee continues. “Who’s next, Fornell?” His mischievous smirk grows wider as you hide your face behind your hands, a muffled groan falling from your lips.
“So,” probes Torres. “Why Parker?”
“I don’t know... I mean, he’s smart, he’s got a good sense of humour, he’s sweet...” you gesture to the pastry still in your hand. “Not to mention-”
“He’s old,” interrupts Torres.
“He’s not-”
“Who’s old?”
The familiar voice echoes from behind you as you turn your attention towards the man in question, “Uh, n-no one.” Glaring at the pair of agents, you take a bite of the pastry as Parker watches you, aware of the sudden tension.
“Okay,” he drags the word out awkwardly. “Back to the case... McGee, where are we on our missing naval officer?”
“I’ve put out a BOLO on his car, still waiting to get a hit.”
“Torres?”
“Forensics are running the trace evidence as we speak.”
“Okay, keep me posted. You,” the former FBI agent turns to you before beckoning you to follow him with his index finger. “You’re coming with me.”
“Where are we going?”
“To see Jimmy, hopefully he’s got some answers for us.”
-
Aware of the intimate proximity between Parker and yourself, you allow your attention to focus on the luminescent glow of the buttons as the soft hum of the elevator dominates the silence.
“So,” Parker turns to you with a soft smile. “You wanna tell me what that was all about?”
“Uh... no, sir?” After a moment, a quiet sigh falls from your lips. “How much of that conversation did you actually hear?”
“Not a whole lot but, uh...” the thought ruminating in his mind elicits a quiet chuckle. “This older gentleman, he must be a lucky man.” Something in his voice catches your attention as you slowly turn towards him, meeting his curious gaze.
“It’s you... Alden.” The sound of his name dripping from your lips like sweet honey catches him by surprise, more than the confession itself, as his charming smile grows wider.
“Didn’t know you were interested in older men... in me.” He says, taking a step towards you.
“Alden,” his gaze lingers on your lips for a brief moment as your tongue glides across the soft flesh before the doors of the elevator open, revealing a very excited Dr. Palmer.
“Agent Parker, Agent...” his voice trails off as he glances between the two of you. “I-I’m sorry, am I interrupting something?”
To be continued...

Special Agent McGee (Sean Murray) and his wife, Department of Defense's Delilah (Margo Harshman), are finally going on a Bahamian vacation on NCIS. (The episode was delayed due to production shutting down early on Season 17.) But alas, as has happened in the past, work (the murder of an escape-room manager with ties to the island) comes calling in "Sunburn."
Then, in the second of back-to-back episodes airing when the CBS procedural returns on January 19, "Head of the Snake," the team is let in on Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) and Fornell's (Joe Spano) mission to take down the drug ring responsible for the latter's daughter overdosing.
Here, Murray previews the couple's vacation and the fallout of that premiere opening scene that saw Gibbs shoot McGee.
Why do McGee and Delilah need this vacation now?
Sean Murray: We knew we were going to do more stories with McGee and Delilah. They've been married several years, have kids together, and as many of us know, sometimes there's a lull in the marriage and the excitement goes away. You make a conscious decision with your partner to say, "Let's get some time just for us and reconnect."
So as McGee's trying to get some R&R with his wife, a case happens back home that links to something in the Bahamas, and McGee and Delilah get to team up and go down this road trying to help solve this case while they're on vacation and in the process rekindle that exciting, young love.
They work so well together on cases.
Yeah. I love Margo Harshman. She's fantastic. I've always loved the dynamic because it doesn't exist outside of their relationship. There's a certain way McGee is at work, and the way he approaches work, so I always enjoy when we see him on the domestic side.
The Delilah character has definitely developed more and more over the years, and Margo is, I think, the most recurring character we've had with the exception of Joe Spano, [who] was in the pilot. We've been able to have a lot of fun with McGee and Delilah's relationship without it being comical.
It's so sweet.
It is very sweet. There's a lot of heart to it. McGee is very sensitive and he wears his emotions on his sleeve. He's usually trying to keep that in check at work, but he's a little more free when he's with his wife. You see a little more unfiltered McGee.
There's no other couple that can argue in binary.
I wish I could remember which writer came up with that. I remember reading that for the first time and just adoring it.
The team finds out what Gibbs and Fornell have been up to. It's not the first time they've been in the dark. How will reactions differ from Season 12's "Patience"?
We've learned as a team that Gibbs can disappear and leave no trace of what he's up to. In the past, it was like, "Where's Boss? We don't know what's going on." Now, we know something's going on. We don't know quite what it is. We'll try to figure [that] out.
One of my favorite things ever is the culmination of that airport sequence that happens; we saw a version of it in the teaser for the [premiere]. When I read that scene, I immediately called my showrunner to say, "Am I reading this correctly?" [Laughs] We haven't seen anything like this previously. The Gibbs and McGee relationship is a long and complicated one, and obviously is much more complicated by the events that occur in that second episode and we definitely get into that.
McGee was witness to Tony [Michael Weatherly]  and Ziva's [Cote de Pablo] will they-won't they, so what are his thoughts watching Bishop [Emily Wickersham] and Torres [Wilmer Valderrama]?
[Laughs] McGee views the stuff that takes place in the workplace with a little bit of a smirk, and lets things lay where they may. As long as everyone's operating together and the team is in good shape, then we're good.

What to see and do in Menorca, Spain
Menorca is a beautiful island and a natural paradise lost in the middle of the Mediterranean. Also, it is the second-largest island in the Balearic archipelago, it has approximately 218 kilometers of coastline.
Menorca attracts tourists and locals because of its clean and crystal clear waters. It is ideal for practicing sports such as diving, water skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving and of course, for its beautiful landscapes.
Menorca was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, and today at Pa ‘Where We Go We want to tell you what to see and what to do in Menorca.
Table of Contents
Tour and enjoy Ciudadela
Tumblr media
Among the things to do in Menorca is visiting Ciutadella, the most captivating city on the island, a must-see! Ciudadela has a classic air. Its narrow streets of the historic center allow you to take a walk in the best colonial and chic style.
And if you wonder what to see and what to do in Ciudadela, here we will tell you: the best of Ciudadela is the Cathedral of Menorca, which was built on an old mosque; the Plaza del Borne and the Plaza de la Esplanada, which are the center of events open to the public; the Castle of San Nicolás, the Municipal Museum of Ciudadela and the Port of Ciudadela, which is one of the most visited places in Menorca.
Visit Binibeca, the most beautiful town in Menorca.
It’s a good idea when doing tourism in Menorca to explore Binibeca, a beautiful town built in 1972, the main attraction of this charming place is its whitewashed inhabited houses (it’s like a museum in there) and its narrow streets.
Being in Binibeca town, you can also visit Binibeca beach with fine sand and enjoy its small pine forest. Near Binibeca beach is Cala Biniancolla with crystal clear waters and a cozy atmosphere that you can also visit.
Tumblr media
Meet and fall in love with Fornells
It is a fishing village located north of Menorca, this town has a bay of more than 3 kilometers in length and is the perfect place to savor and enjoy lobster stew, the typical dish of Menorca.
A must-see in Fornells is to visit the Torre de Fornells. It is an architecture built as a defense in past centuries, which was intended to be used to prevent the ships that will reach Fornells from landing without prior authorization or for purposes of war.
Enjoy a sunset in Cova d’en Xoroi
Among the most visited places in Menorca is the Cueva de Xoroi. A destination with history and charming, just imagine enjoying good music, an exquisite dish, a few drinks and being able to see the best of the sunsets. A privilege!
Cova d’en Xoroi has an atmosphere of a movie and worth enjoying, when visiting it you will have the great opportunity to see beautiful landscapes from the terraces or viewpoints that are the main attraction of the place. During the day in the Xoroi Cave music reigns in bars and at night, it is quite common to see tourists in nightclubs.
Enjoy an afternoon in Cala Macarella.
A postcard beach, with white sand, turquoise waters and vegetation everywhere, this is Cala Macarella, a true Mediterranean paradise.
It is located 14 km south of Ciutadella; When you arrive at Cala Macarella, you can take a sailboat ride at sunrise or sunset to live possibly one of the best experiences.
Tumblr media
Calvia Cala Fornells turquoise mediterranean in Majorca at balearic islands of Spain
A complete view of Menorca from Monte Toro
When visiting Menorca we recommend you visit Monte Toro in the center of the island, it is the highest point in Menorca. From this point you can contemplate the beautiful island from one side to the other, capture photos and enjoy an unforgettable sunset. At the top of Monte Toto, you can also come across the Virgen de Monte Toro Sanctuary.
A walk through the beautiful Port of Mahón
Mahón is the capital of the island and its main attraction is a natural port . This is the largest natural port in the Mediterranean and the second in Europe. Long ago, it housed ships, fishing boats and war fleets; A great attraction of the Port is that it has two islands in its interior: Lazareto de Mahón and Isla del Rey.
It is recommended to hire a tour guide to travel the Port of Mahón from north to south, so you can learn about its history and culture. While in Mahón you can also visit the Fortaleza de la Mola, the Museum of Menorca, the Mahón Town Hall and the church of Santa María.
A sailboat ride in Menorca
Tumblr media
Beautiful bay with sailing boats yacht, Menorca island, Spain. Yachting, travel and active lifestyle concept
If you go with a group of up to 7 people or you are in a romance plan, we assure you that this option is the best. Many tourist companies offer a tour aboard a sailboat in Menorca . It is the perfect plan to visit beaches, coves and places with enchanting landscapes. Some tours include the plan to take a dip in different beaches and snorkel, so if you sign up for this plan, we recommend that you book in advance.
Hiking and cycling on the Camí de Cavalls
The Camí de Cavalls is today an Asset of Cultural Interest by the Government of the Balearic Islands. It is a beautiful path that turns out to be relaxing and beautiful, it surrounds the island and offers the best landscapes and panoramas never seen before. The path has a length of 185km and can be traveled either on foot or by bicycle.
Get to know Menorca on horseback.
Another great attraction of the island are the horses and among the most common activities in Menorca is going to enjoy horse races or take a horse ride.
Make tourism in Menorca while touring every corner on horseback is an experience that fills you with freedom, connects you with nature and makes you feel part of the colonial era.
Being in Monarca, your horseback riding can be done on rural trails and through forests that connect with the most beautiful beaches in Menorca.
Tumblr media
We recommend you…
Rent a car in Menorca
An excellent alternative, and perhaps the best when visiting Menorca, is to rent a car to have the opportunity to visit several of its areas. You can bring all the things you need for a day of fun or enjoy a picnic. In many cases, renting a car can be cheaper, safer and more comfortable.
As there are so many car rental service companies, and they are always different, this is a search engine for finding companies that offer car rental services, sort of like Trivago for cars. The prices are super accessible, they are available almost anywhere in the world (there are all the car rental companies), and as our allies you can get up to a 30% discount.
Take out travel Insurance.
Whenever you are planning your trip, do not forget to take care of your health and safety. We are never exempt from a bad time with our health and more when we travel to places that we do not know and it is super important to be insured.
Our highest recommendation is that, whenever you can, purchase travel insurance when you leave, and more if you plan to move to another country. We recommend you travel insurance.com, which is the best option to find insurance since it is a comparator and can decide what best suits your needs and budgets.
Tell us, what did you think?

Η Μενόρκα ή αλλιώς Μινόρκα είναι ένα μικρό νησί των Βαλεαρίδων νήσων, όχι τόσο γνωστό όσο η Μαγιόρκα και η Ίμπιζα. Όμως οι λάτρεις της φύσης και των όμορφων τοπίων έχουν κατατάξει την Μενόρκα σε έναν από τους πιο αγαπημένους τους προορισμούς τα τελευταία χρόνια. Κατά τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες οι τουρίστες που καταφθάνουν κάθε χρόνο στην Μινόρκα είναι άπειροι, αλλά από τα πρώτα χρόνια της αύξησης του τουρισμού πρώτο μέλημα ήταν να μην αλλοιωθεί η φυσική ομορφιά του νησιού και να μην κατασκευαστούν μεγάλοι δρόμοι κατά μήκος της ακτογραμμής. Για ποιους λόγους όμως θα πρέπει να πραγματοποιήσεις μια επίσκεψη στο νησί;

Isola Minor

Joan Rubió i Bellver

Mar azul, praias intocadas, vilarejos fofos.
A Ciutadella é o centro histórico, e lá gosto muito dos  Can Faustino, o Boutique Can Sastre e o Hotelet Des Born Spa .
