“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” —Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
“Faith pleases God” By Vickysforum
“Without faith it is impossible to please God. It pleases God when His children live by faith. Faith requires walking by and standing on God’s Word. Faith requires us to believe that what God says will indeed happen and that His Word is true. It is by faith that we believe what we have not yet seen, we believe what has not happened will come to pass in accordance with the Word of God. Faith can move mountains; with faith we speak to the mountains of life. We are saved by grace through faith. Faith is such an important part of christian life, it helps us live victorious lives through Jesus. We know where our power comes from and who is our Source and we claim those things promised by God into our lives through faith.
Life is full of uncertainties, it is full of storms. When we do not know who to rely on, we will easily be moved by the storms of life. We have to know God personally and not fight our battles as the world does. We know whose we are and we fight our battles in a different manner. The Word of God is our sword, and faith is the shield we use to extinguish the flaming arrows from the enemy. Without faith, our armor for fighting spiritual battles will be incomplete, without faith we will lack the shield needed to protect ourselves from the evil one. Faith helps us speak to our situations to align with the Word of God. We are to use the sword of the Spirit through faith.
The Bible says that the one who overcomes the world is the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. Matters of God require faith; we have not yet seen God yet we believe He does indeed exist and He is with us every step of the way. Salvation is by grace through faith; we have to believe Jesus died for us and took our sins away through His death and resurrection. We have to believe Jesus is our Lord and Savior. Our power and authority is in Jesus. When we believe we are no longer controlled by sin, we are no longer of the world. We are heirs with Christ through faith. We claim the promises of God through faith.
But scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. Galatians 3:22.
Jesus came to save us from the penalty of sin and death. He, being God, humbled Himself and became man, so that through Him we might be saved. Jesus is a manifestation to us how much God loves us.
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful words. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Hebrews 1:3.
Jesus now seats at the right hand of God interceding for us and He will come back again to take us home on the day of resurrection. When we receive Him and believe in His name, He gives us the right to become children of God.
God is our Father and He tells us to ask and it will be given unto us. We have to believe when we ask and not doubt. We go to God in prayer and make our requests known to Him.
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave in the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6.
Let us choose the way of faithfulness and set our hearts on God’s Law. If we declare with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved.
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed – a righteousness that is by faith from the first to the last, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith. Romans 1:17.”
Blessings.

“Only Jesus can truly satisfy your soul.” By “Joyful Abundant Life”
Psalms 107:8-9 “Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he. satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.”
Psalms 17:15 “As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.”
“ONLY God can truly satisfy our souls. We may find temporary satisfaction in the things of this world, but they do not last. As we praise Him for His goodness and wonderful works, we will find our longing and hungry souls to be satisfied. Satisfied with what? With goodness that only God can give. Our ultimate satisfaction will come when we behold Him face to face and our sin natures are gone forever!
“Face to face! O blissful moment!
Face to face—to see and know;
Face to face with my Redeemer,
Jesus Christ who loves me so.” ~Words: Carrie E. Breck, 1898. ~Music: Grant C. Tullar
“The world will try to satisfy that longing in your soul
You may search the wide world over but you’ll be just as before
You’ll never find true satisfaction until you’ve found the Lord
For only Jesus can satisfy your soul.” ~Lanny Wolfe
Now the Question remains – I am (can) always be satisfied with Jesus, but is He satisfied with me? Have I done my best for Him and lived for Him as I should?
“Is He satisfied is He satisfied
Is He satisfied with me
Have I done my best have I stood the test
Is He satisfied with me
When my Lord shall come again
when He walks and talks with men
What if every friend He had were just like me?
Would He feel a welcome here
or would He go away in tears?
Am I all that I should be, is He satisfied with me?” -unknown
Jesus is the ultimate satisfaction. We will be fully satisfied the day we behold Him face to face in all His glory! Psalm 17:15 “As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.”
What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be.~Jim Hill

“Beloved, let us [unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves [others] is born of God and knows God [through personal experience]. The one who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. [He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute of His nature.]” —1 John 4:7‭-‬8 (AMP)
“We cannot love without God. God is love and only in Him do we get to know what true love is. When in Christ, the love we love other people with flows out from God's love within us.”

Faith...
“Now faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see.” —Hebrews 11:1
“Faith” By Vickysforum:
“Why is faith so important to a Christian? Because without faith we cannot please God. We have to believe that God is who He says He is. Faith means believing that what God says will come to pass. Faith enables us to believe that what we do not see will indeed happen.
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” —Hebrews 11:6.
Matters of God require us to believe and rest on the Word of God. This goes against the matters of the world whereby people want what they can see, feel, and touch. That was one of the reasons in the Old Testament people made all sorts of images as idols. They wanted a god they could see. Yet, during those times God would reveal Himself to His people in such amazing ways. But still, that was not enough. Within a short period of time people would turn their backs on Him and they would go back to worshiping idols. In the New Testament, Jesus walked on earth among people. He performed many miracles, but many people would still not believe that He is the Son of God.
That is why Jesus told Thomas, “Because you have seen Me you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.” —John 20:29
It requires faith to believe in things not yet seen. With faith in God we store up treasures in heaven; we are considered blessed.
“Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord considered his response of faith as proof of genuine loyalty.” —Genesis 15:6
In the present times, God still reveals Himself to us. He is present, He is still at work. However, people have come up with all sorts of rationalization to explain away the works of God. People no longer give credit to God. We have started idolizing everything. We have made people great and God small. But God is good, extremely patient. He is watching. Even when we do not ask He still provides; the sun still shines, He still holds the universe together. If only we asked.
“Call to me and I will answer and reveal to you wondrous secrets that you haven’t known.” —Jeremiah 33:3
What if we trusted God with unwavering faith, how great the world would be!
The promises of God are for us; they are there for us to claim. Through Christ we have life in its full abundance. With faith we speak to the mountains of life.
“Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him.” —Mark 11:23
There is so much hopelessness in the world because we have forgotten our one and only first love, Jesus Christ. When we face challenges we tend to run to all sorts of things seeking answers or in an attempt to numb what happening in our lives. That then opens the door for the enemy to come into our lives; he fills us with fear and tells us that if we do not follow him then we will not get out of our circumstances. But those who follow his path come to learn the enemy is no good; he is a deceiver and a destroyer. The devil has no power over us unless we open our lives to his deceit. When we turn to all sorts of idols we run ourselves to destruction. Without faith, fear sets in. Yet, in God there is no fear.
“Now therefore, fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” —Joshua 24:14-15
We have to choose to believe in God, and when we do, God starts working in us in amazing ways. He multiplies what we have many-folds for His glory.
“For God is the One who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, He will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.” —2 Corinthians 9:10
That is why Jesus said if we have faith even the size of a mustard seed, we will speak to the mountain and it will obey, and nothing will be impossible with us.
Faith enables us to claim God’s promises into our lives. We speak to our circumstances in accordance to the Word Of God and they align in accordance to the will of God. Through faith we enjoy the blessings of God here on earth and in the end gain eternal life.
“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” —1 John 5:13.
Blessings!
