Story time:

I haven’t shared this on my personal tumblr but I love the fandom here and wanted to express a gratitude to the boys and my new CNCOwner familia.

I’ll always be grateful for them and it was because of these boys that I figured my ex was cheating on me the whole time we were together.

I know this picture was floating around but I wanna give some context.

On April 1, 2019 they attended the Knicks v. Bulls games at MSG. I was lucky enough to sit next to them. They are the chillest, most down to earth boys I’ve met.

I sat next to Richuki (which is a whole other experience I can write about) and as they were leaving the game, they all said bye to me. I asked Richard if I could have a hug to which he didn’t hesitate.

I was excited to tell my then boyfriend about my experience and meeting them. I told him I got to hug one of the boys too. Everything seemed fine. The next day, my boyfriend grilled me hard about my hug with Richuki and asked if I’d be okay with him hugging a female celebrity. I would’ve been.

But the fight blew up and he called me “immature” and “weird” for liking celebrities as much as I did. What was supposed to be just a fun experience, he made me feel like absolute shit for. I was crying. Hurt. Then he broke up with me.

We’ve had fights before so I thought it was stupid that he was gonna breakup with me essentially because I hugged a male celebrity. So I did some digging because it didn’t feel right and had I known he was sleeping around with 5 other women, I would’ve left his ass much sooner.

What I’m saying is had the boys not sat where they did, come back after the half time (the legal ones went to get drinks lmao) or Richard even hug me, I’d still be in a fucking toxic relationship. Sure, some of those things are factors no one can control but I’m all the more grateful it WAS them.

I share this today because post breakup, this fandom has given me amazing music, talented and supportive family members (y’all I lurk the imagines, ships & blurbs and everyone is hella amazing. I see you 👀) and 5 humble, kind, and ambitious men that I’m grateful to follow for the rest of their long careers.
