Okay so I do feel Elemestrin started off a tad more rough than I expected (especially because I haven’t read a new fantasy series in a while) but I really enjoy how the characters are working themselves out. I especially like it because Lyria is in it more now and I love her so much— she’s so cool and smart. I wish I had her memory for academics! Trix and Zenyx are both close seconds, but with Zenyx I still feel like I don’t know xyr personality as much as Trix (obviously because Zenyx is around less but I just want to know him more). I’m in the final third of the book and I know some twists are coming but I hope they’re not too painful :’)
