share a personal headcanon that you feel very strongly about: i have really big feelings about 4x11 (it's one of my absolute favorite episodes of television, truly) & the powder keg that is the whole day between ian & mickey. you can read some of those thoughts here, but basically i think that regardless of love or mania, ian stopped taking mickey's safety into account when he was pushing him to come out. one day i will find the og meta post i wrote!! i still stand by it! 🗣

mickey & kev 🥹 i do think they’re secretly sad to be living so far apart lmao. they’d never admit it, but they’ve had quite the journey together over the years from barkeep/patron to co-workers to lowkey emotional support to security/client/gym owner/exerciser hahahah

the few times that mickey escapes to the Alibi after the anniversary party, he’s always shocked & disappointed to realize it’s a pig bar now 🐷. he texts kev: “neighborhood’s gone to the fucking dogs without us, man.” & they go back & forth about how much beers cost on the westside—mickey finally finding the outrage he’s looking for— & how there are the same lowlifes in every shit bar from here to kentucky.

maybe it’s because i feel too old for tiktok, but i am actually a firm believer in mickey not having any social media hahaha. the man is watching the cinnamon challenge 10 years too late, he’s definitely not up on the latest internet trends. so if there are tiktoks shared, i think they come from kev (who has kids & therefore knows more about technology than old man milkovich) & mickey always gets pissed that he doesn’t know how to watch them.
