‘A’ - 1/2 ‘A’ left Afghanistan with his family and found refuge right after the border. They were safe, he thought. Fleeing from Al-qaeda. Fleeing from the taliban. They weren’t safe, but he didn’t know. Until his village was attacked and they had to flee, again. … And they ran. As fast as they could, they ran away. They ran with everything they had. With everything they could carry. Nothing more, nothing less. And in that journey they lost everything. And my worry is to see if I can put everything in the checked luggage or if I should buy an extra one or what to choose to take with me… when I’m traveling in the safety and comfort of the airplane.
