here's my take on the oc verse trading cards by @auxiliarydetective!! starring my current muses obviously, I've got some editing notes under the cut so feel free to just ignore it bc most of it is just rambling

first, I cannot thank you enough for making this guide Evie, I was so stuck on the numbers before I remembered that you literally gave me a guide to figure them out. Kenji's number (58) is a combination of 5 (ka) + 10 (ji) + 8 (ya), aka kajiya, the word for blacksmith in Japanese; I couldn't find any pun-related numbers for Mari, so I just used her symbolic number (13), I'll elaborate on this when the time is right ;)

it doesn't show up much, but I successfully changed the bg color for both of my cards! I have Single Child Syndrome and I Refuse To See Reason and I regretted it when after finishing it I realized that the original color looked best... ah well, at least they're more in line with their colors

the stats are both of them post OPLA s1, Mari is strong but she doesn't get a big fight scene so it's not obvious (but not better than the monster trio, hence the middle-ish placing), she does get an unhinged scene talking about her dream though; Kenji is himbo coded and I felt like I should make that Very Clear, he's slightly stronger than Usopp & Nami, but he doesn't train as hard as the fighting trio + Mari, so he's below average. both of them get to be a little stupid because it's the Strawhats, you aren't a crewmate if you're not a bit silly and unhinged amirite

You are amazing!!! I'll go with Nerissa! Spoiler edition! lol.

Nerissa had an orange cat for a pet in Ealdor.

Arthur then gives Nerissa an orange kitten upon their return to Camelot. He claims that it was making a ruckus in his room, but truth was he went searching all over Camelot for the little orange furball.

Their first kiss is technically nonconsensual - but Arthur does it to sneak Nerissa the flower to save Merlin - he's putting on a bit of a show for the guards who are taking him to a cell for slipping out of Camelot against his father's wishes. She slaps him after the kiss and only understands later when she finds the flower in her pocket.

Nerissa will meet a half-brother from her father's side unknowingly at Arthur's coming-of-age celebration in series 1.

Nerissa dresses up in Merlin's clothes and meets up with Arthur on the way to get the flower to save her brother because she doesn't trust Arthur with the task. (Arthur discovers her true identity when they're over halfway there and he realizes that he can't bring her back and get the flower in time, so he grudgingly brings her along.)

Nerissa is going to help change Morgana's destiny.

Nerissa is crucial to defeating the afanc, only she uses her magic accidentally.

It takes Nerissa longer to fall for Arthur than it does for Arthur to fall for Nerissa.

There was a boy in Ealdor that Nerissa was all but expected to marry. When she goes back to save Ealdor, he all but demands that unspoken contract be fulfilled. Obviously, Arthur comes and saves her. lol.

Nerissa will meet the Great Dragon, whether Merlin wants her to or not.

OH MAN OKAY So I have (4) main ones but really only (2) are actively getting written cuz their brainrot is Constant and All Consuming.

Namely: H3375 and Leo Tucker. More under the cut:

H3375

An elderitch monstrosity technically stuck in a human's body. They're not exactly fond of humans as much as they were summoned into a body to prove a theory by a scientist. They're still pissed about this because the audacity.

Have a slight ability to shift reality and to change it however they want. Rumour has it that that's how their previous doctor died... Of course, it's all but rumours and maybe a bit of myth.

Which means: they can alter their appearance however they want of their vessel (at this point it's basically another part of them),

Currently they look like they're in their 30s, blond and dark eyes. Known to stare just a bit too long at people. It's all observation!

Literally think humans are ants to be squished but pretends to be a human as their current faculty room is one that's easy to break out of. They're just bidding their time (also cuz they'd like to take a toy from here - which means a lucky human is going to be their plaything!)

Probably will commit crimes and throw tantrums if it means getting a somewhat normal conversation with a person. Please they crave entertainment so badly.

Leonardo Tucker

Congrats on this guy being the first one to have a face claim aka Cillian Murphy.

Everyone just calls him either: doctor or Leo. Names are intimacy and his full name is a mouthful.

He is honestly more or less lowkey and tries to keep to himself for the most part. But is incredibly rude when he does open his mouth though it worth noting that he's only like that towards strangers. With patients, he's a bit nicer albeit more clinical.

Does he has to dress in suits (namely shirts + waistcoats?) No. Leo simply wants to look like he's in control (actually he's hanging by the thread). For the most part, people do believe that he's in control but while he's great at lying to others, he's awful at lying to himself.

Absolutely HATES talking about himself in a way that would be comical if not for the sheer fact that he's never quite gotten over his time in the army and the dehumanizing effects it's had on him. His main thing is serving the public as a doctor, everything else comes second.

that's right! Leo's ex-military, discharged for asking questions about missions and how viable they would be. It's one of his patients that does it and it's why he's so tight lipped about everything now.

Potentially, probably bisexual but he's never put a label on it. He's slept with men in the army when he served but has had to keep it low-key. And then he gets discharged for other reasons.

In short: my type of fictional middle aged guy who's a wet cat of a fellow trying his best.
