Some Sera Myu thoughts

These are just some thoughts about some Sailor Moon ships that I like and actors whose portrayal of them that I liked. Two things I want to make clear first though:

1. For example, when I say that I like Fumina Hara and Hironari Amano as Usagi and Mamoru, I mean that I like the way they played those characters together, not that I like Fumina and Hironari together outside of their characters. Just the way they played the characters.

2. Not everyone likes the same ships and that's okay! If you don't like a ship that I'm talking about, we don't need to argue about it. Just click away.

So anyway...

Mamousa: Personally, I'm not a big fan of Mamousa (I like Seiusa better), but I do like Fumina and Hironari's portrayal of them together. I think Anza and Yuuta, Hotaru and Yuga, and Mizuki and Mikako were pretty good too.

Seiusa: Definitely Anza and Sayuri!! I think they had excellent chemistry!! Seiusa was pretty much nonexistent in Marina's Stars musicals, and then felt very one-sided in Le Mouvement Final (I think Hotaru's Usagi and Meiku's Seiya could've been cute together but I know they were going by the manga, which I think didn't have as much Seiusa as the 90s anime? It's been a while since I read the Stars arc). Anza and Sayuri are great though.

Harumichi: Nao and Yuuka!! They had amazing chemistry and were absolutely perfect! ❤ I also really like Shuu and Sayaka, Hiroko and Sanae, and Ayana and Shinju. Harumichi is my favorite Sailor Moon ship so I'm always here for it.

Reinako: I think I'd have to go with a tie between Eri Kanda and Nao Inada, and Kanon Nanaki and Shiori Sakata. I liked Rimo Hasegawa and Karen Kobayashi too.

Makoami: Yu Takahashi and Miyabi Matsuura, and I kinda like Emi Kuriyama and Hisano Akamine too.

Amiusa: I really like Ami and Usagi in PGSM, and Miyuki Kanbe and Hisano Akamine reminds me of them.

Chibitaru: I liked Chibiusa and Hotaru in Un Nouveau Voyage, so probably Karin Takahashi and Airi Kanda. I liked Mao Mita and Ayano Gunji in Last Dracul too (they went on a date to see the ducks at the park and I just think that was neat).

the whole mamoru-as-ami-as-mamoru thing becomes more interesting when I realized how tight the parallels are for pgsm too, if you sort of see ami is the ‘cute’ version of them
