Name: Gabriel Lane Herondale

Sexuality: Gay, not exactly open about it with people.

Birthday: Dec 24th

General health: Less than stellar immune system. Suffers from asthma, needs to carry an inhaler with him though he doesn't always remember. Gets sick quite often in winter due to his apartments crappy heating system, feels cold often. Awful spring/fall allergies. Is on a few allergy meds for it. Sensitive to anything scented, especially flower scents, mostly lavender. Allergic to dust, cats, dogs, horses.

Appearance: Short grey hair, light skin, brilliant sky blue eyes.

Preferred Clothing: When he teaches he wears a suit or tweed jacket. (Stereotypical English prof). Bow tie. Usually still wears one when he's off work along with a cardigan. Definitely not casual, doesn't even own a pair of jeans. Carries a handkerchief.

Job(s): Professor of English Literature at Davenport University

Relationships Past/Present: Was in a 15 year relationship with Michael Wainwright. Currently in a relationship with Liam Black who is 17 years his junior.

Character and Lifestyle: Quiet, reserved, normally keeps to himself but very friendly and kind. Fluent in French and Italian, decent Latin. He's quite worldly, spent several years living in France. Has an odd habit of referring to himself in 3rd person as Gabe. He's seen by others as quirky or weird. Being an English professor has a very strong vocabulary. Loves the quiet life, would always rather relax with a book and tea then go out. Slight addiction to coffee and pizza.

Strengths and Likes: Polite to a fault, he's a gentleman always. Doesn't like to talk bad about others unless they deserve it (and he still normally won't). Doesn't swear, the most you'll get out of him is “bloody hell”. Loyal, once you're his friend you're his friend to the end but it may take a bit. He's not used to having many friends.

Loves to read. Plays piano. Likes museums and fine art. Doesn't normally watch TV, he doesn't own one but prefers classic movies. Likes jazz, opera, classical music.

Loves his job, becomes a totally different person when he's lecturing.

Enjoys warm weather, mostly summer since it's the season that gives him the least amount of issues.

Weaknesses and Dislikes: A bit old fashioned he's baffled by current technology. Doesn't own a cell phone, his computer for school is quite old.

Is quite insecure (mostly due to his Father) and shy. Overly sensitive at times, doesn't like being insulted or laughed at. Easily embarrassed. Isn't fond of his grey hair and glasses (though he only needs them when he looks at a screen). Doesn't like that he's getting older. Forgetful at times.

Not exactly a neat person, apartment always a bit of a mess but he's not a slob.

Clumsy, trips over himself, drops things, knocks stuff over.

Hates cold weather and snow.

The age gap btwn him and Liam bothers him at bit.

Family Background: Both parents are deceased. Mother, Estelle Louis Lane Herondale, died when he was 24. Father, Bernard, when he was 33. He was quite sickly as a child. Father never accepted him since he wasn't a healthy nor physically active. Not a stereotypical “boy”. Very close with his mother who cared for him. Was kicked out of his house when he was 21 after his Father realized he was gay. Only child.

General health: Doesn't get sick that often, when he does it’s usually a fever. Allergic to selfish and some types of red wine.

Relationships Past/Present: Dated two girls in high school before he came out. Has had several volatile relationships with guys. Exes include Dylan, Everest and Bryce. Currently in a relationship with Gabriel.

Appearance: Bit scrawny. Short dirty blonde hair which he just kinda runs his hands through in the morning. Brown eyes.

Preferred Clothing: T-shirt and jeans, has many pop culture or band shirts.

Job(s): Currently a freelance writer for Cordelia Chase's online magazine, part time photographer and photo editor. Also does ghost writer jobs.

Character and Lifestyle: Keeps to himself, likes photography, writing, video games and water. Doesn't like being around people or in social situations unless he has too. Neat freak, keeps a very clean loft and normally ends up cleaning Gabriel's flat when he's there.

Strengths and Likes: Loves music, often chair dances at his desk. Likes to cook and clean espc for Gabriel.

Weaknesses and Dislikes: Suffers from anxiety and insomnia. Ex smoker but he still craves it. Has a tendency to talk before he thinks. Has a fear of doctors and hospitals.

Family Background: Mother Lorelei lives in Breckenridge. Sister Melody (Mel) 4yrs(?) older, she has an on/off boyfriend Travis. Father James died when Liam was 7.
