I've been on a Friends kick lately, and I just watched the scene where Monica and Chandler had their first big fight and he thought it was over, but guess what HE DIDN'T GO SLEEP WITH ANYONE ELSE! HE TALKED TO HER ABOUT IT FIRST AND GUESS WHAT SHE ASSURED HIM IT WAS JUST A FIGHT!! His first thought wasn't immediately to get under someone, no instead he talked to her and worked out the issue with Monica. You know... I find it crazy that two series / sitcooms that are already similar in many ways, namely FRIENDS and How I Meet Your Mother, were also on the ship ! I wanted Rachel and Joey to end up together and Robin and Barney to end up together ! And instead I got Rachel and Ross and Robin and Ted ?! (Especially since Barney and Joey are both men who have never been in love before Robin and Rachel…) WTF SCREENPLAYS ?! The whole Ross and Rachel relationship is incredibly toxic and you focused your entire last season of HIMYM on Barney and Robin's marriage ! FOR WHAT ?! ESPECIALLY FOR COUPLES AS BAD AS ROSS & RACHEL, AND TED & ROBIN ! It's like Joey ended up with Dawson instead of Pacey, that makes no sense !

I don't hate Ross for writing the list, I kind of understand it- Ross is very analytical and weights out pros and cons in every situation. Also it wasn't even his idea in the first place to write the list and he was against printing it- that's all on Chandler. However, what I do have an issue with is his reasons not to date her, they were all super shallow and his disregard for her boundaries after Rachel told him to leave her alone. When someone says go away and slams the door in your face, you don't go climb up the fire escape!

I literally saw a Ross & Rachel (Roschel) shipper claim that if Joey and Rachel (Jachel / Roey) ended up together, Joey would have ended up cheating on her.

So... I hear that we might not like Rachel & Joey together, but we have to stop talking nonsense just to justify it.

I’m glad the results on this YouTube poll were as skewed as they should be cause like. What kind of question is this. One of these men was in an extremely happy, loving, and committed relationship for 60% of the series, including being very happily married for 30% of it.

Meanwhile the other one was divorced three times and treated every woman he was ever with just terribly. He never had a relationship that even came anywhere close to what Chandler and Monica had. This is not a contest whatsoever.
