Southern German States Event start!

Yes only the southern states, because I haven#t developed the others ones yet and Ludwig represents the south. Here’s a guide, from left to right:

Are any of the old German states/countries (ex Saxony, Hesse, Bavaria etc) still alive/around? If so, how are they and what’s your relationship with them like?

“Don’t get me wrong, I love all of my siblings and nowadays we are on good terms. Some of them are more difficult than others and some cause more arguments than others, because they’re not satisfied. But what can you do if you have around 20 (older) siblings? I can’t satisfy all of them!. And as much as I love my family, I don’t want all of them in my house AT THE SAME TIME.” 

It probably happend once or twice that they thought it was s nice idea to hold a state meeting at Ludwig’s house and as usual they started arguing about their language. Each state has their own dialect, some have even more than one and there’s always constant (friendly) arguing between the states what certain things are called, because each dialect has its pride. Also they have a long history at being at war with each other from time to time or being allies. You never knew. They’re not so long unified relative to their age and some of them didn’t really like to lose their independence…. 

Also, here’s a map of all 16 states of Germany, just in case you have no idea what I’m talking about: 

There’s 16 of these states and each one has their own government and thus can decide many things themselves without having to consult the government of the country. Ah yes, you may wonder, why did Ludwig say he has 20 siblings when there’s only 16 states? Well, I headcanon that the states with double names like North Rhine-Westphalia have two personifications, because these were first separate kingdoms/states which later on merged into one. Also don’t forget Prussia, who is still around for some reason.
