Never had this kind of request, to be honest, but I will try, although I don't think it's a very accurate ranking (I know it's subjective, but idk, my feelings change depending on the cool stuff the cbaracters do):

I don't add Ajax and Diomedes to this list, because they are disappointments, not villains (it's not that deep) and Darrow's foil is in his own category of pathetic and unworthy. I don't consider him someone important enough to be worried about, he's more like a spike in the neck, though he is useful to the Society. If he actually dueled and won against Alex, it would have made more sense.

P. S: I think he also foils post GS!Cassius - another reason why I believe Cassius cannot kill him - but because he is a foil (he did not duel Alexandar, it wasn't fair warfare either, he does want to protect the status quo, but not because he finds it honourable, he doesn't even acknowledge the bad stuff and he has no familial bonds with anyone), I don't see him getting forgiveness as Cassius did. Or, at the very least, Darrow won't be as indulgent as he was due to guilt.

This part where Lysander says “the boy inside is dead” reminds me of a part in Iron Gold after Cassius is *presumably* dead and Lysander says something along those lines too. I can’t remember the words exactly, but the thing is... How many times is that boy going to die and not stay dead? How many boys has Lysander inside of him before he can no longer use that as an excuse? Does this mean that he is confirming he is just a kid playing to be an adult?

So I think at this point it’s clear that a vocal portion of the fandom wants Cassius to get himself a boyfriend. And it’s easy to see why: Pierce confirmed a few years ago on Twitter that Cassius is Bisexual, but other than a vague moment in Iron Gold where he invites a male and female Pink to join him in the bathtub for what might have been a threesome, there’s been no textual confirmation that he’s queer like there is with Roque, Tactus, Harmony, Evey, Ephriam, or Dancer. 

@darrowsrising @redrisingmememachine and I were talking on Discord, and we’ve narrowed down the top 3 candidates for a potential future boyfriend for Cassius going into Book VI:

Ship Name: Capple

Pros: 

The DramaTM

Apple will never go for anyone who isn’t as Extra as he is. 

Cons: 

No indication they’ve ever met before. 

Currently on opposite sides.

Colloway xe Char:

Ship Name: Calloway

Pros: 

The combined sexiness/hotness/prettiness would be off the charts. 

If he’s on the Archimedes with the others he and Cassius have plenty of time to get to know each other.
