I know you have an OC who you ship with Sanguinius, I believe (if I recall properly) their ship name is SanguineHunter? How did they meet?

And yes Sanguine Hunter is the ship name! (I'll also do little asterisks for more info on my hcs and au)

The two met on Baal Secundus, a decade or two before the Emperor came to claim Sanguinius. It was on one of Sanguinius' flights where He encountered a lone "mutant human" close to his clan's home ground. After a brief internal debate, he approached the now intimidated entity.

At this point in the timeline, Anathema hadn't learn any human or even xenos languages yet on their travels. They were stopping on irradiated planets to rest up.* However, they did take the forms of the native inhabitants there to prevent truly standing out. Thus, seeing a winged giant inhabitant quickly approaching them genuinely spooked them.

After a seemingly brief moment, Sanguinius asked what said mutant was doing there, but only gotten a slight head tilt in knowable confusion. With a swift territorial gesture, he forced the mutant further away from the territorial. Days (and the Months) afterward, he kept seeing the human there, right where he had left them. It was a slow process but they wordlessly acquainted themselves with one another, with Sanguinius even teaching Anathema Baalite. *- I personally hc that C'tans are more attracted to radiation as well since it is an energy type. It isn't as filling coming from planets and satellites unlike directly latching on suns. In this case Baal Secundus was a desert with high amounts of solar energy, decent enough food.

That's about it??? I need to refresh my self on pre-imperium Sanguinius' lore.

UUHHHHH IDK how much you know about gw2 BUT One of my favorite characters from the most recent expansion: End of Dragons. Is Yao. Yaoday is (i think) when the character debuted OR SMTH CAUSE I AM LOSING MY MIND. like how Niko's day is 12/14 (2 days after my bday)

Is there something your ocs gets homesick for? A person, a place perhaps a particular food they cant get anywhere else or a festival they can't attend anymore?

OOOO!!!! While this is probably aimed to fanwalkers, I cannot help but to think of some of my Planebound ocs! So lets get it rolling! Cyrin came from a distant nearly peaceful district far from Ravnica's cental 10 districts in which he deeply misses. Personally, I hc to be placed in the midwest USA while the tenth/central is in around Prague is if we were to equate it to Earth's geography. Thus, it would take hours on a izzet airship to travel there, not just that as well as the planning he must do.

Nonetheless, Cyrin missed the gruul festivals him and his parents attended to when he was young. If there was photography on ravnica, there would definitely been pictures of him saddling on a Centaur, face covered in gruul war paint: both are smiling.

The food there compared to the tenth was not "more natural" per-se but more communal, if you'd ask him his favorite place to go, he would describe a small Rakdos pub he used to go as a kid. It's where he got to eat exotic (and totally ethically sourced) cuisines from time to time, finding a love for offals such as Liver and Gizzards. Although he loves the bread he gets from the 10th Selesnyans, he has a deep nostalgia for the sourdough dinner rolls he'd share with one of the Imp workers of the pub. Alternatively, he used to have a young golgari friend where they would go on adventures and share snacks with.

Even on the still celebrated Guildpact days, Cyrin would explain an event he watched where the guild representatives would do face offs. If one presses him on it, he would joyfully explain how he watched an Azorius representative was able to reverse and send a pie flying back to the Rakdos tiefling she was doing a competition with.

Lastly, Cyrin misses the rolling plains and distant spires of his home district. Due to how the district was far and mostly self governed, there wasn't much new urban construction built unlike. Thus as he lived on his family farm, he was able to observe the night sky above, pointing and looking at constellations. He misses wading through tall grass and getting chided by his mother for getting scratches and ticks. The smells of the burning rakdos furnaces as a powerful demon lord forged and smiled at his creation before giving it the Boros Angel, as a gift to her, sometimes wafts back into his mind on late nights. On the occasion, he remembers the chatter of the izzet engineers on the side of one of the district's main roads talking about how a mana power line went out.

Every night he wishes he can go back, to see his childhood friend, to that aging rakdos pub and to hear the idle friendly banter he would hear between a selesnyan dryad and a golgari lich. Cyrin can't go back, and it isn't because of money or time, although that is indeed a factor. He knows if he goes back, people will look at him with mournful looks and curious gleaming glances. What happened to his family was something so deeply entrenched in the local history there: The missing kid snatched up by whoever brutalized his parents and sent the house to asunder. That kid found in a dimir warehouse dazed and confused, soaked in blood, but too in shock to speak. Within the local museum, you can read articles of the "Great Zacek Household" tragedy, and he knows this.

Good name! But I was thinking about staying with "Xenoidae Imperialis" as the legion name (because Lachesis does have some modicum of humor) if not taking it along with scientific terms or medical terms. While I DO enjoy the snake motiffs, they're... not really snakes? They're scientists and more importantly THE apothecary legion. The caudecus is vaguely related to medicine thus hence why.

I might have a suggestion for the name of Lachesis legion, seeing as his and his legion colors seem to be a dark sea blue and gold may I suggest the Golden Host? Their symbol is a two headed ouroboros in an infinity symbol.

mmmM! if you're referring to their out of combat outfit, it's actually actually a cultural thing from the xenos race who raised them.

They do have Cyan and gold/white color scheme going on. With the Xenoidae Imperialis, they took on the staff of Caudecus as their symbol.

My primarchs name is Octavius Belladon, when the forces of chaos scattered the Emperor’s son to the galaxy at large young Octavius landed on the planet of Cerebra. Cerebra was a technological advance planet still using technology from before the fall and Octavius became a guinea pig in the planets super-solder program. You see Cerebra was at the time looking for a much needed edge in an ongoing conflict with the forces of the plague god Nurgle.

Octavius was not bothered being a Guinea pig, very little bothered Octavius as he lacks the ability to feel pain. Eventually Octavius’s recognized brilliance lead him from being a test subject to heading the super soldier project. It was just as he was deploying his first generation of human super soldiers based on his own dna that the emperor arrived.

To say the Emperor of mankind was displeased with Cerebra’s uses of pre fall technology, the incursion by the forces of chaos and Octavius making a mockery of his own flesh with his bastardized astartes would be an understatement.

He did not even set foot upon the planet simply ordering it and his son’s exterminatus whilst still in orbit. He only managed to survive by escaping into the warp.

Only recently has he remerged from the warp upon an reclaimed space hulk called the Black Mercy. With in he has cobbled together a legion of space marines from chapters thought lost to the warp called the Noble Order.

Octavius goal in the 40th millennium is simply to save as much of humanity from the Imperium as he can.
