Greetings, I was referred to try these matchups by a friend of mine who had roped the rest of our house into their shenanigans so here I am:
1. Currently, it's Whose Honey Are You by Fats Waller, particularly:

it reminds me of an old club I met my spouse in and it's been coming back to my mind recently.
2. My enneagram type is Type Eight, the challenger.
3. Not truly, I enjoy documentaries but those kinds of videos ain't my cup of tea. I'm more inclined towards music.
4. I did not have an imaginary childhood friend, not that one I can remember anyways, it's been some time since I was a child.
5. Typically I don't sleep as much but I do like to do so after reading for a bit.
6. I would change it to Leopold. I don't have much of reason, I just like the name
7. I happen to like Aaron's "Your Tsundere Boss Boyfriend wants to talk" audio, it feels real in a sense and shows a lot of maturity in handling a relationship that I appreciate seeing.
8. I don't seem to get the appeal behind David Shaw, he just seems too much like a tough head and needs to get his ass beat
9. Despite their quality, I do like the Hallmark drama movies, not because I enjoy them but they're just fun to mock as I watch them. One that I know is "Til Death Do Us Part: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery" on account of how much a friend of mine watched it while I was around.
10. I do like Aaron, he's has a good head on his shoulders, I can see myself having a good talking with him over dinner.
11. I usually talk about history when I ramble, I've learned enough where I can speak on it and if I'm caught in a mood then I would be caught rambling for too long
12. I don't much indulge in that kinda food, I'm more inclined to a home-cooked meal. Something like Jambalaya would do well for me.
13. My favorite playlist would have to be one my spouse set up for me with my favorite Jazz musicians in there, I listen to it here and there.
14. I suppose the answer to this would be the same to number eight, which is hallmark movies.
15. Something else that I feel could help you to know about me is that...I like having people in my life, I don't act like it much but I do appreciate them all. I also play the Cello and I run my own shop for charms and occult items.
Hmmm… actually, let’s be real. That “hmmm…” is not real, because it’s so obvious who your match would be. How could I pair you with anyone but Camelopardalis?
Like, you like to talk about history? Awesome, Cam was there for the history (because I will believe he’s old as hell until god tells me otherwise.) You like maturity, honesty, and transparency in your relationships? Cam’s literally a therapist; I would hope he’s got all those on lock. I think your personalities and your lifestyles would be instantly compatible, and you two would connect queerplatonically or romantically with ease.
Oh, and what an easy, lovely life it would be, Cam being a perfect fit in your household. He’d get along so well with your spouse, as he strikes me as an amicable person to get along with. He loves jazz and the sound of your cello; perhaps you two even play together. (I could see Camelopardalis having picked up the piano in all of his years.) He’s an avid reader with a huge collection, so he frequently shares with you, giving you good recommendations for things to read before bed. He loves to loiter around the shop and watch you work, maybe watching the till while you’re in the back or knitting behind the counter on slower days. (Really, the only point of disagreement I could think of is that he genuinely, unironically loves Hallmark movies.)

One, it’s a jazz love song classic- the jazz love song classic, if you will. It’s also sweet, singable, and a little somber, perfect for slow dancing in the shop while the rain keeps the customers and bad things away. Two. I couldn’t resist, given Cam’s job in memory modification; it was too punny.
Runner-ups:
Hmm, so James was a pretty compelling option for you. I like his vibes as a match, but he strikes me as more of a platonic, social companion than a romantic one. Vega is a runner-up, because imagining him in your occult shop is really funny and charming. Like, that’s a sitcom right there.

AU Yeah August: Historical
Today’s drabble was commissioned by the fantastic @queen-busybee for Adrien and Kagami. I’m so not good at historical stuff and you are so I was a little nervous, to be honest. This story exists in some kind of bubble with historical elements so I hope that’s okay! Thanks so much for your support, sweets! <3
“I won’t deny that a marriage between my son and your daughter would be beneficial to both parties, but I’m not sure it’s the wisest decision,” Gabriel mused, lifting his wine glass to his lips for a long drink.
“We will be returning home soon. If you want to continue receiving the imports you claim are essential to your designs, your empire, then I assume you will give it more consideration.” Councillor Tsurugi took his own sip of wine and watched Gabriel over the rim of his glass. “It would be a shame if your connections fell into the lap of one of your rivals.”
“Is that a threat?”
“Consider it a warning, a friendly one, of course.”
Gabriel set his glass on the table, eyes hard. “I’ll take it under consideration.”

“Married?!”
“Adrien, please lower your voice,” Gabriel sighed.
“Father, I’m not sure--”
Gabriel raised a hand and his son’s words fell silent. “To be perfectly honest with you, I’m not sure either.”
Adrien frowned and sat back in his chair, waiting.
“The Tsurugi family is well-respected and well-connected in Japan. They would like to move that reputation to France.”
“So they’ll be business partners?”
“In a sense. However, instead of a traditional business contract, they would like to solidify our partnership with the marriage of you to their daughter, Kagami. It’s not so unheard of.”
Adrien mulled over the information. It wasn’t as if it was so shocking. His childhood friend had married a prince through a similar arrangement and was seemingly doing very well. And if it would help his father’s business...
“Do I get to meet her first? Before I decide?”
Gabriel gave him a relieved smile. “Of course. We can set up a meeting for tomorrow night while the Tsurugi family is still in Paris.”

After five failed attempts to start an actual conversation with the eldest Tsurugi daughter, Adrien let his polite manners and training fall to the wayside as he finally turned to Kagami with a scowl. “If this is what it’s like to try to talk to you, I can’t imagine this will work out.”
“Yes, that would be a shame,” she replied dryly without looking at him.
He narrowed his eyes. “You want this to fail.”
“What I want is not to be used as a pawn in my parents’ schemes.”
Adrien felt some of his indignation leak away. “Yeah, that would be nice, huh?”
Kagami eyed him for a moment. “You don’t like this either then.”
“I don’t know,” he shrugged. “I suppose I knew I would end up marrying for business at some point because that’s what’s done in families like ours, isn’t it? I guess there was still a part of me that hoped...”
“For true love?” She raised an eyebrow. “You realize that isn’t a real concept.”
He bit back the retort on the tip of his tongue. “Tell me about yourself.”
“To what end?”
“So that I can get to know you.” He forced himself to smile but it felt brittle.
Her lips quirked at the corner as she watched him. “I suppose proper training always wins out,” she sighed. “What would you like to know?”
“What are things you enjoy?”
“The real answer or the polite one?”
The brittle smile thawed a bit, becoming a little more warm. “The real one, please.”
She leaned a little closer, amusement in her eyes. “Fencing and swordplay. Not exactly fitting for a young woman around here it seems. You?”
He grinned and it was completely genuinely. “The same. I’m best in the city.”
“Only because you haven’t gone up against me,” she countered slyly. “Although that would be quite improper indeed.”
“Unless no one knew.”
She lifted her chin. “Gentleman Agreste, surely you aren’t suggesting we sneak off somewhere to find out who is better with a blade.”
“You’ve been to one boring party, you’ve been to them all.” He stood and straightened his jacket. “Besides, we’re supposed to be getting to know each other, aren’t we?” he winked.
Kagami assessed him, finally taking the hand he offered out to her. “I think I see now.”
“What?” he asked, guiding her towards the door to the courtyard, ignoring the murmurs of their families as they passed.
“You’re good at hiding who are you and want you want when you aren’t sure who is watching.”
Adrien frowned as they walked out into the night air. “I’m not sure I understand what you mean.”
“It isn’t a bad thing. You’re doing what you believe is right but you don’t enjoy it necessarily.” She glanced over at him. “But I think this you, the you escorting me somewhere to fence where no one can see even though it isn’t proper in the least...I think this you is the real you.”
“You act as if I wear a mask most of the time and I’ve just taken it off.”
She tilted her head. “Don’t you?”
Adrien frowned. “I...I don’t think I do.” He stopped them in front of a dark building beyond the garden. “Does all of this mean I should take you back to the party?”
“Do I confuse you, Adrien?”
He blinked at her use of his name and nodded. “I think you do.”
“Good,” she replied, finally smiling. “Come now, let me show you why you aren’t the best swordsman currently in the city.”
He stayed in place even as she moved to the door. “Our parents will want an answer about the marriage from me tonight.”
She glanced back over her shoulder. “Then I suppose if you think this marriage is a good idea, you best beat me in this match.” She pushed the door open and walked into the darkness.
Adrien glanced around him and then felt a dangerous cocktail of determination and confidence settle into his bones. He grinned fiercely as he strode into the building. “It’ll be my pleasure.”

Bumble Boost: How it Works & Does It Help You?
It might seem crazy to some people to start paying for a free dating app like Bumble or Tinder, but premium features on these dating apps can really give you a leg up. As they say, you shouldn’t knock anything until you’ve tried it. But you definitely should do a little research first.
So what is Bumble Boost, how does it work, and will it actually help you get more matches and meet more people? Here’s an overview:

1. See your right swipes (AKA the BeeLine).
With this feature, Bumble collects all the people who’ve already swiped right on you and presents them to you in one go. Not only does this save you time waiting to see if if you’ve match with someone, but it’s also a total confidence boost knowing all of these singles are interested in you. Then, all you have to do is swipe right on whoever you find interesting, and it becomes an instant match.
2. Extend time (AKA BusyBee).
On Bumble, if you don’t reach out to someone right away, they disappear and you have to rematch with them later. BUT you can extend how much time you get to reply to someone. On a free Bumble account, you can only extend time for one match each day, but with Bumble Boost you can do this as many times as you like with as many people as you like. So, if you’re still thinking about what to say to someone, or if you haven’t had time to properly look through all your matches, this is a great way to extend a match before it expires. The other person will get a notification saying you didn’t want to let them go—and who wouldn’t want to receive a message like that?
3. Rematch.
Has a match you were really interested in somehow expired without you realizing you were out of time? No problem! Bumble boost allows you to rematch with all of your expired matches after the initial 24 hour window is up.
Expired matches will eventually be re-shown to you again on the free account, but if you live in a big city, it might take a long time before you see then again and who knows if they’ll still be available; so rematch is really convenient.
How much does Bumble Boost cost?
The pricing plans for Bumble Boost appear to fluctuate regularly, and are different for different people in different areas. The cost of upgrading also depends on the plan you select. There’s an option to try it out for a week, one month, three months, or six months. So if you don’t like it, you can always switch your plan back to a free account.
Is Bumble Boost worth it?
Bumble Boost is great for users who live in big cities and get lots of matches each day. This allows you to save time by eliminating your need to swipe, and lets you only focus on people who have already liked you.
It’s also great for people who don’t check the app regularly and might miss out on people they really liked because they weren’t paying attention to the 24-hour window to connect with someone.
If you’re in a smaller town, there usually aren’t enough people on the app for it to be worthwhile, because profiles circulate back around quickly enough for you to get a second chance with them anyway.
It’s also not aimed at people who are simply hoping to get more matches, messages, or dates—instead, it’s aimed at giving you more opportunities to connect with people who have already matched with you. So if you don’t have a great profile, and you’re already struggling to get matches on a free account, don’t expect Bumble Boost to solve all your problems. You might just be wasting your money.
But try it out and see.
Even though it’s not for everyone, you can’t discount something until you’ve given it a chance. So, if you’re curious about Bumble Boost, and you think its premium features could benefit you and your dating game—why not give it a go for a week? The worst that can happen is you don’t find it useful, and you downgrade back to a free account.

I could feel my stomach turning throughout and falling into the vulnerability, seeing the misunderstanding playing out. So there’s quite a few reasons I like this match, but two of the most compelling to me are your Enneagram and INTP. The Logician/Philosopher combo makes you a good fit for Avior.
These personality types give me the impression of someone introverted with a curious and unique nature who thinks more than they necessarily say; this would intrigue Avior. I think once he gets to know you, he’d really love to hear all your thoughts and talk with you, and find out what’s going on up in your head. Yet, your chipper nature is a pleasant contrast to his more sardonic, sarcastic temperament. You’d lighten him up and make him smile.
Even in your weird, little Aligherian prison, I think y’all would get along and have fun in your own ways. You’re a big fan of space; who better to tell you about it than a member of a magical species all named after stars? He could show you another section of the cosmos every night. When out of hell, you could have the opportunity to show him things instead. I’m personally delighted by the idea of Avior enjoying The Magnus Archives, so I will not let this headcanon go for anything. Ahh, a fellow Type Nine baker who relates to Lasko, my kinfolk. This may be a little biased then, but hand to heart, it’s gotta be Huxley for you.
Peacemakers tend to be diplomatic and thoughtful- sometimes to a fault, putting the needs of others ahead of their own. Huxley is a good match for you because he would never let that go too far, the king of taking care of his loved ones and being their rock. I also like that, if you don’t like kids, you’re definitely good with kids, and Huxley would love that in a partner and would just melt if he saw you reciting Goodnight Moon to a child from memory.
Huxley would be such a sweet partner to a baker. He raves about absolutely everything you make, calms you down when something goes awry as they inevitably do, goes out to the store when you had way less sugar than you thought you did, just an absolute treasure. Huxley constantly shares the leftovers with the DAMN-ily and his team, raving about you and your skills whenever he can. Also, he loves the story about the time you dressed your cat up for a tea party. As someone who definitely had a loving childhood with his moms, he’d love to hear about similar stories from yours and sharing his, revealing the parts of each other that existed before you two met, you know?

I love the idea that Huxley listens to old-school music- like, that’s what his moms played while he was growing up, so that’s what he listens to. I also love this song’s vibes for you, because it’s so cozy, warm, and happy, perfect for the two of you hanging out, resting on the couch, and waiting for bread to proof.

Geordi is a runner-up because I also think of him as a baker (a la @romirola and her gorgeous fics), and who doesn’t love a team and power couple? Anton is a cute runner-up because I think he sucks at baking, which makes no sense, but he does, which makes him love and admire your skill all the more.

I never really had an imaginary friend. I mean, I remember being annoyed at my shadow for copying everything I do, but I don't think that counts.
I actually didn't have any friend untill I went to school. I was always okay playing by my self.
Though I do remember making little scenarios in my head while playing on the playground; one of them being me as Harley Quinn trapped in jail while Joker saves me (I was obsessed with Harley Quinn as a kid, okay..)

What is your favorite of Redacted’s audios, and why?
I can't pick one so I'll say "holiday decorating with your boyfriend but he's a chaotic mess" and "listening in on your crush's thoughts". These are the audios that really made me smile like an idiot. They don't really have anything to do with the plot yet they're still my favourite.

Hot take but...David. It's just...idk man, I usually like the tsundere type put sometimes I feel like David is too rude. I enjoyed his first audio but the rest...idk man. I like angel a lot tho. I myself a lot in them, but David is definitely not the type I'd go for. I'd probably feel really annoying and unloved with a guy like him 🤷♀️

I can get what you mean about David being “too rude”; in contrast, Aaron’s certain brand of tsundere reads more playful? One, that last line is very tsundere-core, that sentiment of “I don’t need the world to know or see me as long as I have you”. Two, this song is such a classic, and it matches the alt, rock, grunge vibe that Aaron gives me. I think he likes this song and genre a lot.

Tbh I fall asleep anywhere and anytime easily but on the rare occasion I can’t I just put on some music and it seems to help

I’d probably change it to Amada. It’s one of my old relative’s name and she’s somebody I look up to and hope to be like, so I’d love to be named after her tbh. Family is def something that’s important to me so it fits

One that’s up there for me is deeefinitely that David audio where he catches you with his hoodie. I always go back to one of his audios if I need to relax and that’s fs one of them (side note, I remember after listening to that audio I knew immediately that he was gonna propose for the next one ommmg)

Hmm I don’t really ramble but if I’m tired I love to listen to somebody talk. I’m more of a listener in general but when I get sleepy I’ll call one of my friends and have them just rant until I’m actually ready to sleep

I hope I’m not too biased as a fellow type nine when I say this, but you’re a family-oriented type nine who’d get along with Damien. Who would be a better match for you than Huxley?
Type Nines are the peacemakers, the mediators of the Enneagram, always listening and taking care of people, watching the mood. This combined with family being important to you and Damien reminding you of your best friend leads me to believe that you’d have so much in common with Huxley as all these things describe him too, you know? He’d see a kindred spirit in you and would know you’d be a good fit with his life, loved ones, and values. Apropos of your enneagram type, this would build a very peaceful life together.
That’s not to say it’s not a fun or romantic life, of course. This is Huxley, we’re talking about; he is a total sweetheart to be with. Finding a balance between your rock/grunge music and what I headcanon Huxley to listen to was very interesting, but I think the Sum 41 song I picked is a good fit. This song would have come out when Huxley was a kid, and the nostalgia of it combined with having someone to listen to it with would just make him overjoyed.

Guy would be a really fun runner-up, because if you like falling asleep to the sound of a loved one talking? Is there a better possible match in that respect? Geordi, I like for you because he’s one of the few boys who I think would be an anime fan, especially OHSHC. (Asher is the other anime fan, I think, but he’s more a fan of shounen.)
