I love reading fics of varying quality and skill but sometimes I slip into editor mode when reading and just start noticing flaws and I hate it because if I could just turn that part of my brain off while I was reading it would be fine but noooooo I have to sit there rearranging sentences and phrasing in my head and noticing whenever someone doesn’t end dialogue with a comma even though they should, instead of. you know. just enjoying the fic.

so yall should know back when Lazzo dropped there were three new Harbingers I said I would get IMMEDIATELY if they fulfilled the promise they seemed to have

they were:

Arlecchino, the poor, mad, cursed Knave who does not disappoint in the slightest. It’s really quite delightful to see where they’ve taken her, she’s still got that razor edge way of speaking that makes you feel like you’re in danger. but I do hope she gets to be actually evil in the story and I’m quite looking forward to this boss round v her

Columbina, the speechless, singing dove-like Damselette. We haven’t seen much more from her so my opinion hasn’t changed either, and I’m well aware of the rumors that she’ll be taking the stage in Natlan. More than excited to see the Third of the Harbingers, she who is on level with a god, display her power

And the last one was Sandrone, the contrasting two-bodied Marionette. Of course none of us know whether or not it’s the big buff guy using the doll-bot to speak, or if the doll-bot is Sandrone herself, using the big buff guy to move around. Personally, I favor the Harbinger being the doll-bot, and overall they’re the one I was the least sure about as it would depend on that.

NOW what’s happened is that I looked through the VAs of each of these characters. (I was absolutely bowled over to see Chris Tergliafera taking on the role of the Captain by the way, not prepared for this AQ at all)

And I found out that the voice of Sandrone is Deneen Melody. Deneen Melody, the VA of Zoé Lee in Miraculous Ladybug

guys how do I hit the back button. I have to unknow this. From what I heard in Lazzo, Melody is a fantastic voice for Sandrone. Literally my only issue is my inability to disassociate Zoé with the butchering of Chloè’s plotline. I can already feel myself disliking the character… TwT Sandrone hasn’t even had One in game appearance… I can’t become this…
