Would they Archivists ever say that they love each other?

To be clear I'm 99.999% sure that they do love each other in their own eldritch, dysfunctional way. But would they ever say as much in as many words? Or would they say something like "As Archivists we share a common goal and look out for each other's best interests to ensure our group as a whole is successful,".

Their love language is bullying

I don't think they would explicitly say it. They grew up around each other and dont really want each other dead, but don't always get along. Overall affection isnt really a theme around the archives so "we care about the same things" is closer to it

I like the idea of them being able to take form they might find most useful in the moment, sticking to humanoid out of convenience and familiarity. Kinda like The Collector after being released first took form in giant floating cloak and then settled for one similar in size to King

Now you've got me curious gnome. What WAS the relationship between the archivists when they were younger like?

Their relationships have changed since childhood, running through extremes and attitudes but ultimately focusing on a common goal and set of routines. Adding to it, there isn't exactly anyone else older who could be there for them in the long run, so for better or worse all issues are build on or/and resolved between them. In the end.. it's not like they have anywhere else to go, and they don't exactly want to be alone in the void. They stick together, even if some are gone for periods of time

(But I'm glad you enjoy the things I draw! It always makes me happy to see you pop up in my notes and see your interpretation of the celestial critters:P have a cool daynight too!)

About the colors of the cloaks when they were kids, in some previous comics they shared the same teal cyan hue as an indication of being part of the group. Buuut, they already have affiliation indicated by the shadow face ornament.. and keeping the same colours made it difficult to distinguish them. Soo, this is one instance where I need to backtrack a design choice. Not counting in the more casual clothes besides robes that apear in comics too

Have the archivists ever made a mistake. Like at all? If so, what was the worst mistake they had made? (Ik kind of a weird question)

they are pretty powerful but very much not omniscient:P made plenty mistakes and bad calls in their life

As for what might be the worst the answer may differ on who you're asking. for example Wayfarer might believe its not finding a way to save mortals they lived with before. But the worst call I think was the war with titans. On why don't worry, you'll see:P

Hello, I would really like to know if you have plans to make some comics telling a little about the history of archivists when they were children. I would love to know what their relationship was like with mortals and their experiences, in fact, I love their art🫶

Yeah if its something anyone is interested in:> been pretty much using asks as drawing prompts for a while, iiits kinda why they take a while But in any case, they were around for a long time and met diffrent mortals. Their general approch to mortals significantly shifted since the first archive was established comapared to the point of they are at now in the story. There were places in diffrent eras, many mortals that are gone longer than they were around but left some impact on their worldwiev and some just reinforced it. I probably wont do a very long thing around it since I really want to finish the titan storyline but some shorter comics or illustrations of them sure

the reference sketch of the hairstyles I use for them at their most mortal looking. In general their hair isnt really visible under the caps and they wear masks most of the time, its more reference for sketches
