“Jesus fucking christ, Ceec,” Nate said as he dropped onto her couch, tipping his head back as he sprawled out. “This summer was the fucking worst,” he added. He had ended up spending the majority of it out at home, working for some people who had previously hired him. He hadn’t really intended to, but he couldn’t turn down the extra cash, and even though he had first planned to go back and forth, the time between coming back to Luxor had gotten longer and longer until he had ended up spending essentially the entire month of August there. He still had popped back to Luxor once in awhile, mainly when he thought he was gonna kill some of his family members, but even that had only been for a day or two before he had to go back to work more. “We need to go for a piss up, pronto,” he added with a sigh, motioning one hand towards her fridge. “Tell me you have alcohol.”

After giving the briefest greetings to Marcello, Emiliano was quick to break off from the rest of the group. He wasn’t interested in his mother’s small talk about how school had been going or the competitive discussion his father was having with some of the other ridiculously successful businessmen. He was infinitely more interested in the antics his brother had gotten himself into since his last visit, hoping to find anything to put him back in his father’s disgraces. Of course, Emiliano couldn’t quite hate his little brother, but he could certainly get payback for all the shit Marcello had dragged him through when they were younger. His eyes landed on an attractive brunette, momentarily forgetting his overall goal as a smirk came to his face. He approached her easily, even haughtily. “Good evening,” he cooed charmingly, his desirous eyes looking the girl up and down. “Emiliano. Are you a student here?” he coaxed, his burly, square hand reaching out gently toward the brunette girl. Perhaps he could multi-task, buttering up the girl while also exposing any of Marcello’s mishaps.

Sitting in a rather secluded area of the courtyard, Luca had practically claimed the area around him with the low boom of rap emitting from his portable speaker and the putrid stench of the blunt in his hand. He leaned back on the bench, staring up at the sky and basking in his youth. The sounds of footsteps against cement drew his attention upward toward an individual approaching him. His eyes took their time looking over the brunette girl in front of him, his lips still interlocked with the blunt as he exhaled smoke through his nose. "You better be blocking my sun for a good reason, chica," he teased lightheartedly, leaning forward as his fingers took the blunt from his mouth and held it toward the other. "Did you want a hit?" he inquired nonchalantly, a crooked smile on his lips as he looked at the unfamiliar girl.

Nate had just gotten to Luxor, much to his chagrin. He already knew it wasn’t the type of place he was going to enjoy, but it was the place he got a scholarship too, which was necessary for him to even entertain the thought of a college degree. But still, he was playing nice with the people he met, as nice as Nate ever did, and that’s how he found himself walkig into a party full of essentially strangers. It didn’t take long for him to get a bottle of beer into his hand, swigging from it as he leaned against the wall, slightly removed from the conversation happening nearby, shouted over the music. It’s not that Nate ever felt awkward, really, more antisocial. He preferred to not have to converse, instead people watching with a disinterested look on his face.

Valentines day thread continuation. @ceciantez​ Teddy was giddy when she said she loved his gift. He really wasn’t sure if it’d be too much or not, but he was glad that he clearly found the perfect balance. “Comfortable is lame.” He said tossing his sweater to the floor and digging through his closet for a warm red coloured button up shirt. He dropped his drawers next, putting on the boxers she got him. “Wow. Perfect.” He couldn’t help but to giggle at them as he put his pants on over top. “This is definitely your specialty.” He confirmed looking around at his beautifully done up room. He was impressed. “Oh my god, you have not, drama.” He laughed loudly. He raised an eyebrow when she said it was her first time celebrating. “No way. You’ve never had someone do anything special for you on Valentines day? Hard to believe coming from someone as pretty as you.” He said giving her another kiss as he began brushing through his hair.
