Akogare's Matilda Dress recolour/retexture
I love the dress Akogare made a year ago for TSR YeMedieval collab and have been using it on my little Celtic sims all the time, but originally it had only some 8 or 9 swatches. A big waste for such a pretty thing! Now it can have more... MUCH more.
This time it's really just a recolour. Mesh not included. You need to grab the original one from TSR: here! (And I really hope Akogare is ok with it: all their new creations disallow recolouring, but older ones, including this one, say it's fine if you don't include the mesh, so... We're good, right? It's really fine?)
Comes in 3 versions:
Solids, meaning 40 swatches in my Iron Age palette;
Tartan Welsh, meaning 17 swatches with (afaik) actual Welsh patterns
and last but not least, Tartan Mix, meaning... drum rolls please... 85 swatches with different tartan patterns found on clan.com. If you think this number is crazy, then, well, you're right - but on the other hand, the website offers... let me check... 4667 tartan patterns! So, you see. I did restrain myself. Quite a lot 😅
All the versions come in two flavours: HQ (default) or nonHQ. Download only one per package!
Just a couple of swatches for the preview this time, because I'm not crazy enough to take screenshots of all 40+17+85, so what's the point in even trying:
Tumblr media
I might upload both of the tartan palettes for anyone who's interested and also for reference, because I have a feeling I'm going to go ahead and tartanise everything I deem worthy of my save in the nearest future 🤭
DOWNLOAD (free on Patreon, no ads or EA)
And just a general heads up, especially as I'm sending you to another post in here: all CAS items are .package files. ALL. Always. If you ever download anything for CAS and it's a script mod all of a sudden (e.g. a preset, like it happened lately...), something's wrong. Don't put it in your mods folder, best delete immediately and contact someone who's dealing with such stuff. Even me if you don't have a better idea ;).

Farewell & 5000+ followers gift: 1890s dresses for girls
Hello everyone!
It took me some time, but it's finally here. The one thing I've always been saying that I want to make and yet I constantly kept postponing it: 1890s dresses for girls! As in my whole 'career' I made only one such dress, and a long time ago, I thought it's be nice to create a mini-set this time - you know, as a small goodbye gift. To fill the gap and give your little sims some more options to choose from :).
All 3 pieces are variations of the same mesh (common features: round neckline and a belt), but somehow I have a feeling that they ended up looking quite different from each other. At least I hope so!
Dress no. 1 comes in 51 plaited patterns. From bright and summery through toned down to solemn and gothy; from posh through ordinary to almost drab. Very universal imho. Here's a small selection of the swatches - but keep in mind it's not even 1/3 of them all:
Tumblr media
Dress no. 2 is probably the most elegant, with some satin-like shine. Comes in 27 swatches:
Tumblr media
The belt in dress no. 1 is by default black, in dress no. 2 - white. However, you can also download a belt overlay (one for both dresses), found under tights. Above you can see some of the overlay swatches in action!
Dress no. 3 is technically not a dress, but a blouse and skirt combo. It comes in 23 basic swatches: with white blouse and different skirt colours.  I made another overlay though, this time for the blouse, which comes in 20 swatches. You can mix and match however you want. Once again, found under tights.
Tumblr media
polycounts: no. 1 and 2 - around 7K, no. 3 - almost 10K (watch out, this may be high for some people! It's all those teeny tiny ruffles...)
Base Game compatible
HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
all LODs
custom thumbnails, bump and specular maps, some shine here and there
found under long and short dress subcategory (dress no. 3 only under short)
colour tagged
dress no. 1 and 3 use glass shader / transparency - won't work properly in laptop mode!
PDNs and PSDs for recolours (only for the basic packages, no overlays) included - you don’t need them for the meshes to work.
Known problems: some ruffles clipping in case of dress no. 3 in certain positions, but I think most of the time it looks good enough to give it a pass. Let me know if you notice anything else.
Hope you'll like it, enjoy!

1890s hat for big and small girls
Hello everyone!
The lack of vintage hats is sad, but the total lack of Victorian hats for non-adults is just depressing. I don't know about you, but I have literally one hat for girls in my game which kiiind of works - but it's pretty weird that every single girl in my save wears it. And as lately I feel rather like creating simple stuff which doesn't require much work (like, you know... stuff without weights problems...), I thought it's a perfect opportunity to try to do something about it.
The hat I made isn't necessarily representative of 1890s; I saw it only in one fashion plate and the predominant type looks very different... But I found this one cuter, so I went for it nevertheless. Deal with me :P
Comes in 26 swatches: 24 in different colours (the usual palette) and 2 with straw hat texture. I feel lazy today and didn't take preview pictures, sorry! Trust me, they're all there.
Also, I know that the flower looks super artificial - but I thought it doesn't matter, as in the picture it clearly is artificial, made of some folded material. It's just a deco piece imitating a flower, not a real flower, so I hope you won't mind!
polycount: ca. 2K
Base Game compatible
hat slider compatible
HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)

custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, no shine

1884 bathing suit for girls
Vintage Summer collection pt. 4
Hi everyone!
Remember my last piece? I converted it for children and edited a bit, so that it'd be more accurate. It seems that bathing suits for children always had shorter sleeves than the ones for adults: when adults wore long sleeves, children wore short, when adults wore short sleeves, children wore no sleeves at all. Hence the edit. Presented by Luna Villareal and Cassandra Goth, who in my story were both 7 years old in 1884 :).
Comes in 15 swatches (a shocking development: I created a consistent colour palette!)
Tumblr media
polycount: ca. 8K (LOD 0)
Base Game compatible
HQ mod compatible
all LODs
custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, some metallic shine on the buckle and buttons
tagged as everyday and swimwear
found under swimsuit subcategory

No problems spotted, but if you notice any, please let me know.
Hope your girls will like it, enjoy!

Cuiavian folk outfit for girls
Hi everyone!
Here comes another simple thing: a conversion of the Cuiavian folk outfit for girls. Nothing big, but it's my first female adult to child conversion, so it's still a new milestone! Converting stuff for girls is a bit trickier than for boys, because you have to readjust the chest area. Once again, big thank you to @simverses for her shrinking tutorial - wow, I didn't even know that ShrinkWrap modifier is a thing. So useful!
Comes in two versions: festive, with apron and collar, and 'humblified', without. They are separate, non-conflicting files (a.k.a. you can download both). Both come in 17 swatches - same as their adult counterparts (can be seen here and here).
Base Game compatible
HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
all LODs
custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, no shine
festive version tagged as casual, formal, party and hot weather
humblified version tagged only as casual and hot weather
found under long dress subcategory
colour tagged
disallowed for random
PDN for recolours available HERE (you’ll have to hide/delete some layers to get the 'humblified' version)
Hope you'll like it, enjoy!

1890s fancy coat for girls
A.k.a. Vintage Winterwear Collection pt. 5
Hi everyone!
Here's another coat for your 1890s girls.
Now, if you're thinking 'but it looks exactly like the previous one!', you're not too far off - I did indeed use last week's coat as a base for this one, so the general shape looks very similar. There are, however, some differences: this one lacks that binding clip on the front, is in general a bit more open, has some more buttons, pockets, and, most of all, a two-layered cape. Or, to quote the official description, it has a 'pointed over-cape' which is 'handsomely trimmed with braid'.
It's definitely fancier than the previous coat + cape combo, which was so simple that it was even called 'military'. I thought having them both in game could help you make more individual sims. You know, like... Poorer or richer ones?
Just like the previous version, it should work for the whole decade, depending on what kind of sleeves you imagine underneath that cape ;).
It comes in 18 swatches, including a pure black one (one thing I learned: it's always a good idea to make a mourning swatch):
Tumblr media
Base Game compatible
HQ mod compatible
custom thumbnail, bump & specular maps, no shine
tagged as casual and cold weather
found under outerwear category
PDN for recolours included - you don't need it for the mesh to work
Known problems: as with the previous one, the cape can look weird in certain positions. I did what I could, I playtested it and I think it works fine enough, but if your girl does something completely wild with her arms, it will look strange. I'm sorry for that, but I'm afraid it's the best I can do - and I guess it's better than nothing.
Hope you and your sims will like it. Enjoy and happy simming!

1890s coat with military cape for girls
Hello everyone!
It's part 3 of my Vintage Winterwear collection. This time a little something for your 1890s girls!
The original is from 1895, to be precise, but kids' fashion wasn't changing as fast as adults', so I think it should work for almost the whole decade. The only difference would be the sleeves - extreme puffs for, let's say, 1894-96 and small to zero puffs for anything before and after that period. Actually, I planned to make 2 versions of this coat, puffed and "un-puffed", but then realised you can't see them anyway under that cape, so what's the point? So, you're getting only one version and you'll have to imagine the puffs underneath if that's what you want ;).
Comes in 16 swatches (apparently I forgot to photograph the last one - it's in lila):
Tumblr media
Also, it seems I'm slowly transitioning from my blue phase to a green phase. I made seven swatches in either of those two colours. Don't know why, it just looked good. You'll have to bear with me :].
Base Game compatible
HQ mod compatible
custom thumbnail, bump & specular maps, no shine
tagged as everyday & cold weather
found under outerwear subcategory
PDN file for recolours included - you don't need it for the mesh to work
Known problems: the cape. Let's just say, TS4 is not very cape/cloak friendly. I did what I could and I think it looks... Not perfect, ofc, but decent. You'll probably encounter some problems if your sim decides to do some crazy stuff with their arms, but eating, doing homework, making a mess, napping, peeing, washing hands and all such daily activities look ok. I think. Ofc let me know if you discover it completely doesn't work in a certain situation - I'll try to look into it.
As always: don't claim it's yours, don't monetise, don't put behind paywalls or on potentially dangerous sites - other than that, use it in any way you want. Recolour, include the mesh, edit, use as a base for your own stuff, I'm fine with it all. Just let me know once you're done, I'd like to see what you made! :)

I received some requests to convert my TF dress for girls, so here it is!
Comes in the same swatches as the toddler version.
HQ compatible, works on all body types, custom everything, no shine (it's wool, duh) etc etc.
Known problems: the sleeves clip with the body if the sim is standing still. Looks especially silly in CAS. It's annoying, as it's the sleeves 'eating away' the body and not vice versa (which I'd definitely prefer). Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it - I tried sizing the sleeves down to reduce the clipping, but didn't like the results and reverted them to their original state. I mean, that extreme volume is the coolest thing about them, right?
Also, the sleeves look weird if the sim is bending the arm, because they cover the elbows. The only way to solve it would be to either move the sleeves up - which I didn't want to do - or make the game think elbows are located somewhere lower. I don't actually know whether the 2nd option is possible, but even if it is, that would probably look even weirder than that sudden bend in the puff. It seems we have to live with this one too.
So, yeah - it's a bit problematic, but I'd say it still makes for a nice dress for 1890s girls, especially if you don't scrutinize it with a magnifying glass ;). Hope you and your sims will enjoy it!
