The fact that Clarice Leydoux and Lao Xi Sheng look nearly identical to Melinda and Seng is comical.

I was curious about what happened to people that were previously chosen.

Interesting to see their descendants are apart of a secret society believing themselves destined to be the reincarnated vessels for the heroes.

Although if the heroes were awakened too soon than what does that mean for Emma. Was she always gonna be the chosen? Is everyone a descendant of the previous heroes and that’s why they are picked?

Unicorn Warriors Eternal ep 3

Spoiler warning but thats it....

One warning 8B....

So the ep was good, pretty much how I imagined it. Part of me gets a bit annoyed with Emma. But just small, tiny part. Adult me knows this is for her story arc Tartakovsky himself admitted that this story is focused on Emma’s arc. These dueling personalities.

Also I admit I do like seeing this. We didn’t get this with Avatar. As far as I know every avatar embraced their role. So to a degree it is interesting to see one fight/or have conflict with their destiny. 

Bigger picture Melinda is right. Smaller picture, I get Emma’s struggle. Personally I think Melinda went about it wrong. She probably should have tried reminding her that if she fights/or ignores these instincts her parents and Winston would die as a result of this neglect. Heck she could have lied and told her that if Winston really loves her, he’ll be waiting when they’re done fighting the evil. As far as we know... we don’t really see what happens to their reincarnations after they defeat the evil. Their outcomes are a bit of a mystery... do they go back to normal? Did any of them die from fighting?

Though part of me wonders why is Emma the only one fighting it? oO I admit the other two aren’t in sync fully but they are working alongside or not fighting it? o3o I dunno.

The appearance of Clarice Leydoux and Lao Xi Sheng does make curious if they’ll be given a bigger role in the trio’s story. I do wonder if they’re telling the truth though... did their descendants of past incarnations really build their own society? I do like the idea but also do believe they are rejected on purpose. For two reason, 1) reincarnation in the bloodline would have been too dangerous. If that had been the case, the evil would had just killed their children and thus the continuation would have been stopped wayyy earlier. 2) it is just safer for the trio. No worries or ties to past/or current families to distract them. And because its chosen at random the evil does not necessarily know whom to kill/attack.

Anything else... uh I really do just love Alfie XD. I know Emma’s complaining about her life ruined but clearly Alfie’s having a good time. I wanna think when this is over, their journey will give Alfie something he didn’t have. A family.

And I’m sorry/not sorry... I wanna see Emma/Melinda fall back to Edred/Dmitri. I dunno I just honestly think its gonna happen. Winston’s okay but I’m just not interested. He’s done nothing for the story yet other than get in the way/and tell Emma “I love you”. I’ll wait and see what happens when he realizes “Shoot Emma has to save the world”.

I loved that possessed statue scene just everybody was hilarious XD. Edred/Dmitri was sooo awkward XD. I feel like the real Melinda couldn’t care less. But he/or they did it because it was the era and knew Emma wasn’t use to that.

Let's be real, the biggest shocker for me was finding out after a full season of Emma's hair being so fluffy and perfectly coiffed that it is actually pretty much Melinda's but blond, instead of her appearance simply being altered by Melinda.

I'm calling it now.

Seeing as Clarice and Lao Xi Sheng stayed in the Elven Kingdom while Emma went back to the Cosmic Realm and they still had their own Copernicus, they're going to use the Heart of the Forest to animate their creation, who in turn will end up being the current Copernicus because Merlin will send him to the past with the original Unicorn so he can create a stable time loop that'll ensure the reincarnation cycle is set in motion and Unicorn will be able to keep fighting the Evil throughout eternity.
