Okay, there is a ship name problem.

Presently, the ship name “Clockroach” refers to 3 different ships, one of which not even being Project Moon related. In terms of Project Moon, it refers to Gregor X Dante and Gregor X Hokma.

Simply put, to avoid tag confusion, we need to make new ship names for the ships Gregor x Dante and Gregor x Hokma.

My nomination for Gregor x Dante is Gregordante (to match the other limbus ship names). I don’t really have one for Gregor x Hokma.

Of course, we could circumvent renaming Gregor x Hokma by appending “project moon” or “pm” at the end, and since the other clockroach ship is for Parahumans, an entirely different fandom, we probably won’t have any issues there.

Been thinking too much about Dante/Gregor interactions and while it’s never stated outright I think part of why Gregor goes out of his way to be friendly is cause he knows Dante’s nonhuman head sets them up to be dehumanized (even outside of Nagel und Hammer’s regime). Like for instance look at when Donggrang pulled them aside to talk at them and even compares them to one of his childhood toys where he can just talk at without listening to input and refused to let Faust be present to translate for Dante. Look how often Dante is ignored in general despite being Executive Manager of Limbus Company or otherwise overlooked or disrespected.

And I think Gregor gets it cause he saw it happen frequently to his fellow G-Corp members, that having nonhuman insect heads made it basically impossible for them to live normal lives and people would treat them as less than human as a result. it’s not the exact same but it’s plenty similar, and he’s had experience witnessing dehumanization, and being dehumanized himself by G-Corp’s scientists, so I think he kind of ‘gets it’ with Dante. And I think that’s one reason he makes an effort to reach out to them.

Toc ticks are an incredibly parasitic species of insect. They only exist in one place and that is on The Witch of Time's personage. They are the larval form of Clockroaches, and they are about the size of a dime. They're perfectly round and their markings makes them easy to mistake for minuturized pocket watches.

A toc tick feeds on moments. Any moment that it eats will be kept within it, avaliable to revisit so long as the tick lives. Each can hold up to 12 moments and once it eats its 12th it becomes a full grown Clockroach. Clockroaches are about the size of a silver dollar. They can be kept and cared for as pets outside of their natural ecosystem (please for the love of God, Time needs those fucking things gone), so long as their owner is aware of their needs. Clockroaches, like their name implies, are incredibly difficult to kill and may even be immortal.
