honestly i know the range of motion is affected with more chub but i think those bodies should exist anyway. posability is not always a priority, and i think if it was then we would not have the range of beautiful doll bodies we have. these dolls are art and can be used for observation of self-love. caring for, customizing, familiarizing yourself with, and being able to frame a body that looks like theirs as beautiful and worthy of capturing in the form of a doll could be a really healing experience for a fat person. as an intersex person, dolls were how i found ways to love my body, because in many ways more gender-neutral leaning bodies resembled me. i was fortunate enough to have them as a developing teenager. that representation was so important.

dolls, of course, don't exist solely for these purposes, but people still buy heavy 75cm+ guys that can't pose for shit and appreciate their bodies anyway. because theyre beautiful! and so are fat people, so give us the real fat bodies!
