I went back to Coven Tales' stand and got a... Few more things 😇

The stickers are, in order, by alialudier, nabi_art and I'll ask tomorrow who did the corgis.

Plague doctor potions is by lylitjium_art. It's a whole series and they're all beautiful.

The second to last one is a series of various creature designed by the artist eliane.torralba with the second picture showing them all. I just love them so much I think it's the one thing I've hesitated the least to buy (I highly recommend her socials if you enjoy seeing 3d creatures too. Seriously go now).

I really liked the first volume (though it does suffer from classic first book syndrome where the author and artist are trying to find their rhythm and mise en scène). You can see the Samurai Champloo and general Shonen influence :D.

Today was the first day of the French Con "Japan Party". I had never been before but tbh it reminded me of Japan Expo back when it was still good.

Here's my haul for today part 2 (I'll try to link to their social medias when I can, their cards are in the pictures if there was one). In the order of them coming out of my bag u.u

Elonan Comics and Yamraj comics take old heroes that fell into the public domain (as well as characters that were very much proto super heroes) and try to follow up on these. They try to portray diversity notably through working with people who come from the countries of those heroes (Brazil, Australia, Switzerland) and try to diversify their content (including handicaps).

There are ebooks available in English if you want to try them, I haven't read them yet but I really enjoyed talking with the writers and artists present!

This is a Shonen type of comic book called The Last Kamit but while "Comics" are a window on American culture, Mangas and webtoon are windows on east Asian cultures (specifically Japan and Korean ones), their goal is to develop understanding of various African cultures with "the spirit of a Manga but the comic book format". In this story we follow a Kamit who will have to go on adventures throughout the whole continent for his classic Shonen comic of age journey.

The art is beautiful, I'm not far into it yet, they haven't mastered the mise en scène yet but it's still good and works fairly well (despite some confusion here and there).

Very good for a first book and I'm curious on how they'll go about it. So far we've had at least Egyptian references so my former Egyptology student self is just happy to see it XD.

They upcycled and decorated this teapot. There were several, all with differ styles. I love it and can't wait to use it.

So, this was a traditional stand, with half of its stock handmade. There were very pretty hand painted candles but they're small and I was too scared I'd lose them ^^'

Coven Tales is an association of Writers and artists whose art ranges from webtoon to Manga to creatures design. I also got my ticket thanks to their giveaway so shout out to them u.u. I decided not to buy much today because I know I'm gonna buy more after and long term anyway (I've already got Mémoires d'un Orgue plus it's Spanish translation : Memorias de un Órgano which I still highly recommend if you can get it at lartdelafugue.org or herissondecheminee.com).

I did buy their art book because I saw it at a friend's and it's a great intro to all the artists. The picture I bought is from Oyanxa.

Coventale Historia (Story)

hace mucho años atrás monstruos y humanos Vivian pacíficamente en la superficie, los humanos eran un poco civilizados ellos les importaban la nuevas novedades, tierras, reinos y entre muchas otras cosas mas, por el otro lado los monstruos respetaban las decisiones de los humanos y su civilización los monstruos eran muy pacíficos preferían la tanto la paz pero también ellos se reproducían 5 veces mas que los humanos, los humanos tenían miedo de que los monstruos algún día lleguen a quitar a toda la civilización que habían construido y las tierras tantos reinos, desde entonces los humanos decidieron matar y traicionar a los monstruos, empezando desde los  mas jóvenes esto enfureció a los monstruos y no tuvieron otra opción mas que pelear, al final los humanos ganaron y exiliaron a los monstruo en el monte mas grande que tenían, desde entonces fue un gran cambio drástico para ambas razas, pasaron siglos y años hasta que la historia fue olivada pero nunca los monstruo siempre recordaran la traición y el exilio que hicieron los humanos con toda crueldad a los monstruos.

Many years ago monsters and humans live peacefully in the supercicie, humans were a little civilized they cared about new notions, lands, kingdoms and many other things, on the other hand the monsters respected the decisions of humans and their Civilization the monsters were very peaceful they preferred the both peace but also they reproduced 5 times more than humans, humans were afraid that the monsters someday come to remove all the civilization they had built and lands so many kingdoms since Then the humans decided to kill and betray the monsters, starting from the youngest this infuriated the monsters and had no choice but to fight, in the end humans won and exiled the monster on the largest mountain they had, since then Was a great drastic change for both races, passed centuries and years until the story was forgotten but never the monster will always remember the tr And exile that humans did with all cruelty to monsters.

la historia entre asriel y chara:

pocos años después de la guerra y la traición un humano cayo por primera ves en la historia, asriel hoyo las plegarias de ayuda y auxilio del humano desde entonces allí conoce a chara desde entonces son amigos pero asriel tenia que ocultar al humano caído debido a que su padre asgore declaro que si un humano cayera debía morir pero si un monstruo se atrevía a ayudar y ocultar al humano, se le declaraba traidor y que debía ser ejecutado, los meses pasaron hasta que el humano enfermo asriel desesperado quiso hacerle una cura pero era tarde chara murió diciéndole en su ultimo aliento que la lleve a la superficie en una pequeña cama de flores, asriel lleno de tristeza cumple el deseo de chara tomo su alma y se vuelve algo mágicamente prohibido, llega a la superficie y recuesta el cuerpo de chara en la cama de flores, llegaron unos humanos creyendo que habían matado al inocente humano apunto de atacar los humanos asriel cae al subsuelo suicidándose así mismo, su polvo se extendió en todo el jardín sin florecer de la pareja pocos minutos después asriel volvió a su forma normal pero el ya sabia que había muerto el ya no era nada pero encontró a chara y esta le dice que no a muerto lo suficiente su alma seguía un poco activa, asriel se la da y chara ya no era la misma ella se había vuelto una bruja del mas allá siendo una poderosa y cruel, pocas horas después asgore se entera de lo ocurrido y empieza a llorar por perder a su hijo y pensar que fue el primer monstruo en traicionarle, desde entonces los monstruos tienen que llevar algo de negro para guardad luto a asriel por su muerte y traición pocos días después nace la primera flor alphys le inyecto algo llamado el suero de la determinación, y al día siguiente para mostrársela a asgore y de allí nace flowey.
