I hate being referred to as an anti-vegan bc I'm literally not. Im all about dietary freedom. Eat what you want, without guilt, because food is a necessity. If something is against your personal beliefs, for whatever that reason may be (moral, religious, anything!) Then do what you believe is necessary!! I'll never stop someone from changing their dietary habits. As long as you aren't hurting others, as much as you can help it (because many foods are procured through slave labor and some people can't afford alternatives and still need to eat. I personally try to shop local as much as I can and avoid brands that are known to use slave labor or destroy the ecosystem).

What I AM against is forcing OTHERS to conform to your personal dietary choices (except when it's things like a person with nut allergies who can't even be NEAR nuts). I'm also against ARA rhetoric (I don't blame people for thinking that being an ARA is the right choice though.) I prefer the term Animal Welfarist, because I believe animals deserve to live safe and healthy lives, as close to natural as possible while keeping them out of harms way. I believe you should give an animal enough space to live, and as long as you are feeding them appropriately and taking care of their medical health, then it's fine to eat their meat and use the byproducts from them. This also includes not condemning them to a painful life, like horses with wheelchairs or animals with such severe dietary or mental issues that time very moment is agony for them. On top of this, animals should have the right to a humane, painless death in the event they need to be put down (including for slaughter for food).

Just wanted to highlight some of my beliefs, in case people aren't comfortable with em!
