Double life except instead of just the sharing of pain and lives they also share a child together

Exactly what the title says

Like, one month after the gang was all dropped into Double Life, they all got a notif about seven new entities spawning in. When checking spawn, then gang finds six multicolored baskets all containing a child, an egg, and a letter. The letter is from The Watchers or smt, essentially saying “Sup, here’s some kids for y’all, lol take care”. Panic ensues

Also all the names are very arbitrary apart from one being chosen for a dumb pun

Liana no last name given

Professional Scammer and pathological liar, Liana is the fledgling that hatched from the egg belonging to Scar and Grian

She’s a manipulator at heart, a con artist through and through, tho she hides it behind sickeningly sweet words, large puppy eyes and bright colors

Has great relationships with both of her dads, even though their parenting styles are very different

Grian is a total helicopter parent, Liana was barely allowed to leave the base as a kid in fear of her getting hurt

Scar does not give a shit, she could be telling him that she’s off to summon a wither and he’d just ask her to be home for dinner

She inherited the “Looks like a cinnamon roll but can actually kill you” vibe from Grian which she uses fully to her advantage

Scarlet Macaw hybrid, though her wings are too small for her to actually use them to fly, but they do help her glide

Dressed in strikingly bright colored suits just to throw people off, and smokes a pipe for pure aesthetic

Can’t build for shit, she’s a shame to the family

Dating Jassy

Wes Double-SV

Local stressed out mom friend, Wes is the baby from the yellow basket belonging to Impulse and BDubs

He’s an overachiever, always feeling a need to be perfect and do everything right

Suffers from a lot of OCD and anxiety

His relationship with his dads are a bit rocky, especially with BDubs

Both Impulse and BDubs are a bit like those Beauty Pageant moms, always feeling a need to prove that their child is the best. This is partly the reason for Wes’ disorders. Impulse can be a bit more chill than his hubby however

He does love his dads though

A thing that does add to his stress level however is the fact that all his friends are fucking maniacs and he’s the only voice of reason they have

Part imp like his father, his horns are his pride and joy

The tallest of the squad, usually carry the others if they get tired

Gertrude Statz-Diggity Dawg

Chillest person to have ever walked this earth, Gertrude is the pup from the blue basket belonging to Ren and BigB

She’s a Redstoner, a damn good one at that too, and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty

Does not give af about anything, just here to vibe

Her relationship with Ren is very casual, they’re more like dude bros than father and daughter

BigB is the more parental of the two, he’s the one who baked her cookies when she felt sad and told her stories when she couldn’t sleep

Dog hybrid and part werewolf, once every month she becomes ‘Weretrude’ (That was the dumb pun)

A big gal, second tallest of the gang, standing at six five, and ripped af, wears tank tops to show off her muscles

Wears shades so much that the light actually hurts her eyes at this point

Still got a lot of dog instincts to deal with, so don’t go throwing any sticks around her because she will just up and chase them before anyone knows what’s actually going on

Dating Novo

Jonathan ‘Johnny’ Tek

The server’s dashing charmer boy, Johnny is the country boy that was found in the red basket belonging to Jimmy and Tango

A true boy of the farm, this lad gets up every day at five am to do his chores, whistling a country tune as he does so

He takes more after Tango in terms of looks, but Jimmy when it comes to personality. He has his father’s blazing temper though

He’s the apple of his parents eye, an absolute breeze to handle as a kid which helped a lot because they’re both disasters

Talks with a very, very, thick southern accent that no one knows where it comes from, since no one else on the server has it

He plays the banjo, because of course he does

Demon hybrid, tries to hide his more demonic features like the horns and tail as to not scare the animals

Secretly kind of a monster fucker

Aromantic, so not dating anyone

Jassy Smallishbeans

Anime ninja extraordinaire, Jassy is the girl that was found in the gray basket belonging to Etho and Joel

Tries her dang hardest to have a cool and intimidating presence like Etho, but she’s a bit too much of a goofball to be able to

The biggest fucking fan of puns, will go to serious lengths to tell a bad and witty joke

Idolizes Etho, he’s the coolest fucking person in her eyes and she wants to be just like him

He’s very protective and constantly worries about his daughter, even if he tries to act like he’s not

Joel is a bit of an awkward parent, he tries his best with her but he’s not cut out for parenting

Jassy is genuinely a very good fighter, stealthy enough to sneak past skulk sensors with no issue, and a master marksman. She just has a problem keeping a straight face sometimes

Has a few anime attributes, such as the unnatural white and ridiculously styled hair, a very strange way of eating*, and the swirly eyes whenever she gets knocked out

Lean mean speedy machine

Has to wear a mask covering her mouth to hide the goofy smile she gets constantly

Dating Liana

(*That thing Anime girls do when they take the smallest fucking bite out of something and then immediately like, orgasms or something it’s so weird, look it up if you don’t know what I’m talking about)

Jekiv Inthelittlewood

The Half dead sass master, Jekiv is the zombie child that was found in the green basket belonging to Cleo and Martyn

Is very monotone without really meaning to, but yeah this boy will roast the shit out of you

He was mostly raised by Cleo, since Martyn wasn’t too keen on having a child. He gets along great with his mom, but his relationship with his dad is pretty much non existent

Martyn tried to reforge it when Jekiv became a teenager, but the damage was already done and the daddy issues had settled in

Absolutely fucking adores frogs, they’re his buddies and his pockets are filled with them

Kind of hates his sorta Step-Brother Novo

He is a zombie hybrid, which means that he can’t sleep, his skin is rotting away, he limps when he walks, and he’s sensitive to sunlight

Wears a light pink cloak to cover up his skin. Is also always dressed in pastel to counter his kind of horrory and gory look

Dating Wes

Novo Major-Moon

Unhinged freakster of the server, Novo is the half elf in from purple basket belonging to Scott and Pearl

Superstitious as all hell, wears a four clover necklace around his neck, a rabbit foot around his ankle and had his pockets filled with acorns

He thinks his mom is really cool and awesome, and even if Scott had the majority of the custody this bitch still turned out insane

He’s got them crazy eyes, a slight twitch to his movement and absolutely zero filter for his mouth, spouting out every random thought he could think of

He’s absolutely tiny, standing at barely five feet, with zero muscle, which makes him the ultimate twink

His makeup look consists of heavy eyeliner and then a spray bottle to the face, giving him the running mascara look. He knows he’s unhinged and he commits to the aesthetic

His dad thinks he should calm down a little and such, but he does support his son in his weird makeup and his beliefs

Adores annoying his kinda Step-Brother Jekiv

Dating Gertrude

Was this an excuse for me to make a bunch of fankids? Yes. Am I ashamed? Not in the slightest, no

Also if ur wondering Wtf kinda names these are, I was just sitting with a document typing random shit in until I found something that fit. Sometimes I got something nice, like Gertrude, and sometimes I just got a random bunch of letters, like Jekiv

I made some cute ship names for the couples as well, so we’ve got Stress and Sass, Tol and Smol, and Pirate and Parrot. Y’all can probs figure out who’s who.

But yeah I had fun doing this, character creation is one of my favorite things and I’d say it’s one of my biggest strengths as well, which is actually kind of sad

Also when I started this it was just the end of session three, and like now two couples have died so rip Team Ranchers and The Box duo, you’ll forever live in my heart

Who are “the kids”?

My friend, at this point it’s better that you just see for yourself of what’s going on with them than ask for a recap, because whew a lot has happened

But quick rundown, the kids were created when I had the idea of an au where in double life, they didn’t just share their life with their soulmates but also a child. The AU was more about how the couples would be as parents and less about the kids themselves, and their personalities were mostly made to fit fun scenarios

But then people liked that post a lot, and wanted to know more, so here we are

There’s Liana, the Scar + Grian child, who’s a business woman with wings but can’t fly, also she’s half watcher, has lost a foot plus half her eyesight, has heavy trauma from watching her dad die in front of her,is a superhero, and became Pixl’s adopted daughter ish, also her and Jassy are married

There’s Wes, the BDubs + Impulse child, who’s a gentle giant, but more in the way that he’s constantly stressed out, and he has a lot of OCD and anxiety, a bad relationship with both of his dads, a real passion for mining, and is engaged to Jekiv. Their relationship is a whole mess too

There’s Gertrude, the Rendog + BigB child, who’s a pretty chill redstoner with a big passion and love for classic fairytales and princesses, also she’s a werewolf but kept that a secret from her mentor for a while, also she caught her dad cheating when she was like ten, and she wears sunglasses so much that she’s near blind because of the light when she takes them off, and she’s dating Novo

Johnny, the Tango + Jimmy child, who’s like a pure southern country boy, very sweet and kind and friendly, plays the banjo and absolutely adores goats, he had an absolutely awful time after double life ended, and he suffers from major codependency issues to his dads, also he becomes an explorer with his horse Butternut, and he can speak to wardens, and he’s aromantic.

Jassy, the Etho + Joel child, who’s a pun loving ninja with a huge identity problem, has a lot of anime traits including the crazy hair that changes every day, is also a little green in some places because ogre, has a whole arc of figuring out who she was and wanted to be, is a huge horror fan, was a pirate for a while, she has a rough ass relationship with Joel, and she’s married to Liana.

Jekiv, the Cleo + Martyn child, who’s a monotone pastel clad half zombie with more daddy issues than all the bat kids combined, he has a lot of zombie traits that affect his day to day life, he kept a journal after his parents death, he became a necromancer for the heck of it, gore and corpses is his favorite thing in the world apart from frogs, and he’s engaged to Wes.

Novo, the Pearl + Scott child, who’s more nutty that a peanut in a nut factory, used to be a total momma’s boy but now hates both of his parents, loves the aesthetic of running mascara and has been doing it since he was eleven, has an accent that no one can understand, became a bard without being able to play an instrument or sing, and managed to become incredibly rich just by people paying him to shut up and go away, and he’s dating Gertrude.

Actual Baby children who have no idea what they’re in for

So the Double Life anniversary is coming up, which is insane, and I thought I’d celebrate it! Kinda ish I guess?

I just did more designs of da kids

Buuuuut, this time I took it one step further to show them as actual children, together with their favorite parent (Apart from Johnny cause he loves both)

It was incredibly fun and I had a blast trying to make the lil block men in Hero Forge, maybe I’ll do it again some other time just by themselves lol

Baby Liana and Scar

Scar is the favorite parent cause he’s more chill and also he didn’t betray the family. Had a blast making him and his ranger outfit, I tried my best to get it as accurate as possible and I think I turned out great. Baby Liana’s outfit is really cute, it reminds me of the lil suit for the toddlers in The Sims 4. Also Jellie <3

Baby Wes and Impulse

Impulse is the favorite cause BDubs is…well he’s BDubs. Impulse was also a lot of fun, especially the more non human features, but the stupid I on his T-Shirt tripped me up, It's literally just a yellow blood stain lol. Seeing Baby Wes is also so strange, cause he's like without his shaggy stubble, dyed hair, and thicc af body. Now he's just a lil guy.

Baby Gertrude and Ren

Ren is the favorite because...well he didn't cheat. Very easy answer there. I've said this with everyone so far, but Ren was so fricking fun, I love his shirt and its colors, had a fricking blast. Gertrude is just a precious baby in a full princess costume, getting read a bedtime story, just an absolute gem. Also this is pre-sunglasses, mainly cause it looked weird with the plastic tiara she’s wearing.

Baby Johnny and both his dads :D

They good parents. Also, FUCK Jimmy, FUCK his bland generic looking ass skin, and FUCK hero forge for making it so hard to translate it. Zero enjoyment in the making of it, but Tango was hella fun. Baby Johnny is honestly just my lad but smaller. He probably has a lil tooth gap too. Prime boy.

Baby Jassy and Etho

Etho is the favorite because Jassy finds him very cool lol. Etho was more difficult than I first thought, mostly because I wanted to make him more than just Kakashi so I avoided the Anime hairstyle and customed the hell out of the patchy hair, but he looks great! Baby Jassy was a huge Etho fangirl (The OG Ethogirl lol), so her look is Just Him but smaller.

Baby Jekiv and Cleo

They’re the favorite because she didn’t fucking leave, Martyn. Cleo was surprisingly easy honestly, but that shouldn’t really have shocked me. Just any green skinned person with red hair kinda looks like Cleo. Wanted to make them look a little different from Jek, but yeah I guess Zombie genetics are just that strong. Baby Jek is without the hood, that’s a later development, so his patchy hair is in plain sight. He hates it.

Baby Novo and Pearl

Pearl is the favorite because she’s more fun. Pearl has a really easy outfit to make, and I thoroughly enjoyed it honestly. Baby Novo doesn’t have the runny makeup yet, so he looks…surprisingly normal. Just an ordinary child honestly. I really liked making his outfit too, especially the colors.

Reminder to everyone, that in the canon of the dlsmp kids lore, during every new life series the kids kinda exist there as well but as ghosts, just being forced to watch their parents remaking the same mistakes over and over and over again

Which also means that Liana saw Scar call Grian the light in his life, saw them ride the camel together, saw them in the desert, and saw them with the cactus

And I don’t think she handled that too well

This is Halloween

We’re just a few days away from the new life series, and judging by the status of a server I’m on and Trafficblr as a whole, none of us are quite ready

But I do what I gotta do, and the spoopy season is upon us, so here we are

I said I would be making Halloween costumes for the kids a few days ago, and I’ve slaves away all night and day preparing this presentation

No but fr, I had fun. Hope you like em

Liana as Mumbo Jumbo

We’re starting out strong boys. Liana considers Mumbo her biggest financial rival, so their relationship is very, well, rivalesk. At least on her end. Mumbo’s still confused. She probably spent the entire Halloween night imitating him the best she could in a half mocking manner, and both her dads found it hilarious

Wes as a cat burglar

Because what is Halloween without someone in a tight latex cat suit? Wes was 100% forced into this, and as much as he’s a little uncomfortable, he also finds it kinda fun. Jassy def tried to make him wear heels as well, but his balance is shit. He also managed to talk his way out of the tail, since he already has one.

Gertrude as a mobster

Well, she is a king, might as well expand on the brand. Absolutely slaying too, I need to put her in more suits. She probably spent the entire Halloween night sitting mysteriously in some corner, “smoking” her fake cigar.

Johnny as an angel

Cute ironic costume. This was actually suggested by someone in my dm’s, so I thank thee for the idea. The little wings were probably hand crafted from chicken feathers that my lad spent months on, and he’s very proud of them. He’s using the wreath crown to hide his horns as well, they ruin the angelic look. The lyre was borrowed from Novo as well, and he absolutely does not know how to play.

Jassy as a ghost

Can you just put a sheet on your head and call it a day? Yes. But is that any fun? Fuck no. Chains will be rattling all night, and she’ll be throwing them around left and right. The white makeup is probably crappy af too and will start to come off after like, half an hour, but she still looks pretty fucking cool. Will try to scare as many people as she can.

Jekiv as the real monster

A lot of Cleo designs incorporate the classic stitches across the skin, and Jekiv does have that as well on some places where his skin has just come off. But dressing as “Frankenstein’s monster” would be too easy. No, let’s go for the true villain of that story, Viktor Frankenstein himself. It’s a bit fitting too tho, since Jek is a necromancer. He’s just a lot nicer to his creations, amongst other things

Novo as little red riding hood

His gf is a wolf, and the reasoning for his costume ends there. Very disappointed that Gert didn’t want to go in a couples costume, but oh well. The red hood is strangely comforting to him as well, what with his mom and all. He’s girlbossing

Having read through all the posts of the dl kids, I just love how all of them have these really complex and complicated relationships with their parents, while Johnny is just "My dads love me and I love them!"

Jassy: I always put one of my dads on a pedestal to an almost unhealthy degree, while I struggle to even somewhat connect to the other one

Liana & Gertrude: I used to have a good relationship with both my dads, until one of them was unfaithful and now I can never look at him the same way again

Wes: My dad treated me more as a way to one up other people than as his actual child

Jekiv: While my mom is great, my dad walked out on us and I barely ever saw him

Novo: Growing up I loved my mom and loathed my dad, but looking back now I realize that to them I was just a tool to spite the other

Johnny: Last week mah pa took meh to the rodeo fo-wah the first time, 'n he even lem-me ride one of the bulls! This week mah other dad is takin' meh to herd ravagers. Gosh, aah love 'em both so much!

Double life kids name meanings

Like I’ve said before, all of the names are very arbitrary, so don’t expect a lot of like, fitting or thematic things

Also we’re doing the middle names too, so Liana’s gonna be fun (Sarcasm, I hate myself)

Liana Sharina Ace Xelqua Sage Aurelia Francesca Octavia Jellie Monroe

Liana means “To Twine Around” and “My god has answered”. Wildly different meanings, and neither really mean anything to her

Sharina means “A gift of god”, and like considering all of the kids are created by the watchers who are kinda gods I guess, so maybe? It would also tie into Liana’s second meaning

Ace means “Expert”, which like alright. She’s good at what she does

Xelqua is Grian’s old username, and a lot of people says it means “Sun” or something of the sort. I guess

Sage means “Wise” or “Healthy”, neither of which Liana is.

Aurelia means “The Golden One”. Her hair is golden? Eh?

Francesca means “Free”. Liana is not free

Octavia means “Eight”. Liana was the last born of the kids, but there’s only seven of them. Nothing in her life has anything to do with the number eight

Jellie means “Worthy”. That’s very cute actually

Monroe means “Mouth of the river roe.” ??????

Wes Ethoslab Double-SV

Wes means “Western Meadow”. He lived on the east side of the map I’m pretty sure. We’re nailing nothing so far.

Etho means "Copycat"? Apparently? Idk what that says about him

Gertrude Praline Statz-Diggity Dawg

Gertrude means "Strength". First name to be actually fitting, huzzah. Gertrude is a strong gal, both physically and emotionally. She's the rock of the kids

Praline doesn't have a clear meaning, from what I've seen. The name comes from one of my favorite cookies, so like yeah

Johnathan 'Johnny' Norman Tek

Johnathan means "God has given". We're involving god a lot in these names

Johnny means "God is gracious". He is not

Norman means "Man from the north". Johnny has a clear Southern accent, so like what the hell

Jassy Slab Smallishbeans

Jassy means "Love". Jassy is from one of the platonic ish pairings on the server, so like we're missing the mark here, come on

I do not think I have to explain Slab

Jekiv Joe Inthelittlewood

Jekiv is a made up name and of course has no meaning, so I thought I'd explain how the hell I came up with it. When making the kids for the first time, I was spitballing names in my head to try and find something that fit them. My mind went to "Kevin" for this lad, but ew. Then came "Jakob". Also a no. And somehow my mind just frankensteined the two names into "Jekiv" Beautiful

Joe means "God will add", because our dear friend god is at it again

Novo Stellar/Cerulean Major-Moon

Novo means "New young", and was apparently used in the middle ages for a child born after a sibling had died. Novo died after Jekiv in the "Dead ending", his brother, but that's the only correlation I can find

Stellar means "Of the stars". I think in the post I made about the Dead Ending, I made some Star symbolism with the kids? Idk

Cerulean means "Dark Blue" or "Sky". Novo is destined to aim for the stars I suppose

Liana

Home girl is on her way to take over the fucking world

Comes from an extremely confusing home life, with her dads splitting up and getting together over and over again, both of them having had other partners during the breakup periods that never really last

In the present she has two dads and an additional step dad. She doesn’t like him that much, but her dads relationship seem more stable with him so she bears with it

Liana lost her leg just as she did in canon, due to frostbite. She got lost in the woods during winter for almost a week, and lost one of her shoes in a hole. She likes to dramatize the story though, to seem cooler

Started her own company at eighteen, and it grew into a multimillion corporation after only two years

She dabbles in a lot of things with her company, everything from movie production to train travel, tech to food items, theme parks to merch, and everything in between. Liana doesn’t calm down until she has control over every major industry in the world

Evil capitalist? Yes but consider this: Sexy evil capitalist lesbian. It makes up for it

She does own a lot of charities too, the majority of which being somewhat bird related, like the preservation of endangered birds, or rehabilitation of birds that have been abused by their owners. She likes birds

Still married to Jassy, her childhood best friend. She spoils her wife absolutely rotten (mostly with anime merch and manga’s), and would give up her entire company for her

Buuuuuut, Jassy hasn’t asked that of her yet, so Double Co. will keep on growing

Wes

Even without the imp genes, he’s still a big fricking boy

I mentioned multiple times that BDubs and Impulse were a bit like beauty pageant moms with Wes. Well…yeah

BDubs and Impulse wasn’t full beauty pageant moms (like those fuckers who like, perform surgeries on their four year olds so they will have fuller lips and shit), but beauty pageants was a huge part of my boy’s childhood, which wasn’t the best thing since he hates the spotlight and when people have their eyes on him. His dads would have stopped signing him up for them if he asked, but he was too nervous to do so, so yeah

But hey, at least my man can play the cello like a champ as an adult, since that was his talent.

He’s studying geology because rocks are cool :)

As an adult is relationship with his dads is…a bit strained, but he’s working through it in therapy

Engaged to his fiancé Jekiv, and has been so for many years now. Both of them are still studying, and even though his best friend (and stepsister’s) rich af wife has offered to handle the budget for the wedding, they want to wait until they can afford it themselves

Still has OCD and a lot of Anxiety, but now there’s at least medicine!

So yeah, Gertrude is actually pretty aight in this universe

I imagine Renchanting is some shop her dad owns, maybe either like a bisexual crystal shop or like a costume place, but she probably works part time there

Volunteers at a lot of dog rescue shelters, and has adopted many of them

Is studying to become a vet, but is also practicing writing on the side. She wants to write children’s fantasy novels, about princesses and magic

Is dating Novo, and has been waiting for him to propose for almost six years. She gonna keep on waiting

Johnny

Man is half British half Arizonan, still somehow speaks with a country accent. Only god knows where he got it from, and I don’t even think he does

Apart from more humane features, nothing about Johnny changes. Still an Aromantic icon, still a sweetie, still a rancher at heart, and he can still absolutely shred it on the Banjo

Suffers from mild anemia and asthma. He sometimes struggles to keep up with his friends, especially when they were children, but he always found ways to keep their pace, even if that means he sometimes had to be carried

He absolutely has one of those trucks that he treats as his baby. He’s worked on it for years, he has a name for it (It’s Butternut), he will cry if it’s even slightly scratched, it’s his child and he loves it very much.

Gertrude probably taught him some mechanics to take care of Butternut

Dreams of one day owning a ranch, but that’s a bit away

He probably volunteers and helps out at a lot of stables and riding schools, wrangling horses and whatnot. He’s got a natural talent, what can I say?

Jassy

She still styles her hair in all of those ridiculous anime styles, but now it takes a considerable amount of more hairspray and time

The way she bonded with her dads as a kid was through their favorite medias, so with Etho they would always talk Naruto and anime while with Joel she would always talk Shrek and Harry Potter

Has taken Ninjitsu and parkour classes since she learned how to walk

The only dyed part of her hair is the green streak. She has incredibly pale blonde hair

Married to one of the most successful entrepreneurs ever, and she pulled that bitch by being a fucking weeb

Is extremely into Cosplay, and has a Naruto OC that is Kakashi’s super cool powerful daughter

Has a job in a book store, mostly because she enjoys having something to do during the days. Is a bad employe tho, spends most of the time reading manga or mystery novels

Collects knives and daggers as a hobby because she’s just that bitch

Jekiv

Imagining Jekiv as not a Zombie is actually very difficult

In canon Martyn just kinda dipped, but imma say he stuck around here, so yeah Jekiv grew up with both of his parents. Separated of course, but they were both present

Still, he’s got a lot better relationship with his mom than his dad. They’re more alike

Suffers from Hyperthyroidism, which is the reason behind his skinny figure, his patchy hair, his weak muscles, and his bulging eyes. He’s had it since he was a tween, and he tries to not let it bother him

He gets sunburnt really easily so he rarely goes outside when the sun is shining. He’s pale af

Is studying forensic pathology, and works part time at a morgue. He’s always had a weird fascination with dead bodies, but hey at least he isn’t a serial killer

Would absolutely be a serial killer if he had the skills and strength to do so

Owns over twenty breeds of frog, two of which is poisonous

Has a resting bitch face, but he also is just a straight up bitch sometimes

Novo

Mans still a lil freak

Has Stahl’s ear syndrome and thinks it’s cool as fuck. Usually has his hair tied up to show it off

Bleaches and dyes his hair a new color every month. His hair is permanently damaged because of it, but he’s mostly fine with it

While his parents are on non speaking terms, they’re a lot more healthy than in canon. Novo is well raised and loved, he’s just Like That

Has a freakish resistance to the cold, like, Canadian level resistance, so mans will just lay in in a t-shirt and skirt in the snow while taking a nap

Picks up a new instrument every few weeks. He can’t play any of them, but he likes to find ways to annoy his friends with them

Is studying law, actually. He may not look or act it, but he’s freakishly smart, and he wants to become a prosecutor

Is dating Gertrude, and has been waiting for her to propose for almost six years. He’s gonna keep on waiting

Yet another design update of The Kids

So for those of you who don't know, every week Hero Forge adds a new item, or "treasure", to its website for people to use, which means that the options for things you can create expand weekly.

Recently they also came out with the update that makes it so you can fully free design the faces of the characters, instead of just giving you like five bases that all look the same.

These two things combined with the fact that I just bought a pro subscription, make it so that I simply must update the kids.

Liana

Girlypop is slayingggggggg. Obsessed with her new vest, like honestly. The hat, cane, and coat all come from the ringleader set that dropped like a month ago, and the moment I saw them I knew they were perfect for Liana. Gosh she's so dapper

Wes

I was in a call with my new girlfriend when I made him, and I wasn't sure for what his posing should be and she just said "Make him girlypop". I mean I tried. This new hair is like my favorite thing in the world, and it fit him so fucking well, I love it. Also he has big ol´ eyes, cause of course.

Gertrude

Gert's most recent designs have all had a pretty extreme look, with full battle armor and such, so I thought a more casual look would be more fun for once. Never goes anywhere without her mace tho lol. Also new ears!

Johnny

We ran out of western inspired outfits many designs ago, so at this point we are just struggling to stay afloat. Just like with Gert, I thought I'd go with a more casual fit, and the skirt was also my gf's idea. Love the wild hair, and also he now has a crossbow because what's a cowboy without a gun?

Jassy

Jassy is slaying so hard in all of her designs, I adore the top. That's kinda all I have to say about it lol.

Jekiv

When you buy a pro subscription, you get access to the beta feature that allows you to cast light and shadow on your minis. So Jekiv looks extra dramatic here lol. Also he has a nose now! Love that for him!

Novo

No one quite does it like him honestly. Accordion is another very annoying instrument when you don't know how to play it, so of course it's one of his favorites. Also, the feathers in his hair belongs to Liana! Because they're besties!

Now, as I'd imagine all of you to be wondering, which you should, when do these take place? Because, Hermitcraft and Empires is over, and the kids were stuck on those servers because their codes were all fucked.

Well, this is from "the good ending", where they fix their codes so they can travel between servers freely, and they all move to a new server together, but visit their parents and friends often. It's all sunshine and rainbows, and everyone lived happily ever after.

Is this the canon ending though? Well, who knows. Or I do, but I'm not telling

Couldn't Liana just have the lastname of Goodtime or Dreamslayer or something?

I mean Goodtime is mostly the name I (and many others) use in modern aus and such for Scar, but Scar Goodtime isn’t his official name, and she couldn’t be called GoodtimeswithLiana because I ensure you, there is not a single good time to be had there

And as funny as Dreamslayer is, I don’t think the country of Ireland or wherever he bought land exists in this universe
