So, I just watched the S3 finale of The Owl House and I have a lot to say. Spoilers ofc. Also please tell me if The Collector's pronouns are He/Him or They/Them. I use He/Him in one paragraph and They/Them in another, so please tell me thanks!

The ending for The Owl House and Amphibia felt similar (IN A GOOD WAY) with the protagonist "dying", coming back to life with grand power to end the massive threat, and then living again with the proper chance to say goodbye. I have to say, this got me crying/tearing up on a few occasions, especially with how childish and pure The Collector is. (I just realized I have to change my pfp I'll do that later) He just wants to make friends, but he's unaware of how to do so because everyone he's met has used him for their own advantage.

The Collector is one of my favorite characters because he's like me; We don't know how to make friends properly and just hope it works. They just want to help and I can't blame them, especially when Luz takes the hit for them. The fact that it took them a bit to realize that Luz was actually gone broke me. The Collector is so pure. I love them and want them to be my friend. Also, when Luz, Eda, and King were showing The Collector how they became friends, they started looking upset and during the games they played. They felt left out and I can understand that, making me relate to them more.

Raine is my most favorite character for various reasons but that's for another post. The fact that they were possessed by Belos as a puppet was like "Bitch what the fuck?!". Also, the fact that the moon sticker came off to reveal Raine's original outfit was like a punch in the stomach and I can't explain why. I wanna give props to them for fighting off the little shit that is Belos and the fact that Raine broke their violin to protect the Titan's heart just shattered me, especially since it didn't work.

Closer to the middle/end where the trio (Luz, Eda, and King) come to save Raine, they were whistling Eda's Requiem and I had to get up from my bed and just stop like "damn stop trying to break my heart" so yeah. At least they and Eda got their happy ending tbh good for them.

There are also a few things I want to point out that aren't long enough to have paragraph explanations, but I don't want to gloss over them:

Camila as a puppet was crying when Luz's light particles(?) entered The Archives, giving her that motherly instinct that her daughter is gone without her even realizing it.

The Collector was going to sacrifice themself to save everyone else in The Archives probably because Luz sacrificed herself for them.

Everyone (I think) understood that The Collector wanted to help and let him.

WILLOW'S DADS GOT TO KISS ON SCREEN AYOO???? I WAS SO FUCKING HAPPY YOU WOULD'VE THOUGHT I WAS ON A SUGAR RUSH!!!

Alador and Darius got a gay scene (okay maybe not gay but it gave off the vibes, especially since I ship them.) (The scene is during the credits when Owlbert is getting the others in The Demon Realm)

The fact that the birds just don't care that the trees on the Titan's arm are sideways and just perch there anyways is amazing.

Everyone got a glow-up and I'm here for it

I love how overly animated some of the scenes are. It makes it more immersive and energetic and I am here for it as well.

The Titan in The Inbetween wearing a Bad Girl Coven shirt and Glyph pajama pants with a little Hooty replacing his right eye is something I thought I'd never see, but I love it. He's such a dad.

The "I loaf you" message The Titan wanted Luz to give to King is such a dad thing to do and I fucking love it. Gave me something to laugh about after the angst I just witnessed.

FLAPJACK'S GRAVE

Hunter working with Eda's dad (I'M SO SORRY I FORGOT HIS NAME I KNEW IT BEFORE) in Palisman carving is just AHHHHHHHH MY HEART

Everyone growing up and doing what they love is so amazing I wish Disney didn't cancel TOH so that we could've had more exploration, especially the lore.

Raine's face is stained from Belos' goop and it looks like they've been crying forever and idk what to say.

GUS' DAD HUGGING THE ILLUSIONS BEFORE HUGGING GUS LIKE IK HE DIDN'T KNOW WHICH ONE WAS GUS BUT THE IDEA THAT HE'S WILLING TO HUG ALL THE ILLUSIONS TO GET TO HIS SON IS JUST AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

18. A memory of a time you felt loved

surprise here's a childhood memory. sometime during my time living with luna and milkail, i had a nightmare (i do not remember exactly what about) that was so bad that I woke up crying. I stayed in bed not wanting to disturb either of them, but luna mustve heard me because they came in. they sat down on the bed and held me until i calmed down, whispering things like 'youre safe now, its alright' to me. i hadn't had any contact from a parental figure in so long that it nearly overwhelmed me. but looking back, it makes me feel really to remember how much they cared even if i didnt understand why.

20. A positive memory of Noe

i remember he used to get injured a lot - they were never serious, usually just bruises or scrapes from 'being clumsy' or murr's claws/teeth. i was more often than not the one who patched him up. he'd apologize profusely and claim he was being a burden, but i (in my own way) kept assuring him it was fine and i didn't care. almost every time though, he'd tell me he was really grateful for it and to have someone like me who was so good at treating injuries around.

21. A negative memory of Noe

cheating and goin with a source memory for this one. the episode i had at the ferris wheel after i realized he'd seen an extension of my memories without my permission and attacked him for it really fucks me up to think about. i can still feel the utter dread and guilt after i snapped out of it and realized what i was doing + that i couldnt go through with what i started.

probably the time i turned bugsy into a baby LOL. fuck banzai lives. or my opening scene in episode 7, both are really fun to watch from a kin perspective

12. A memory of home

before the timeskip in the finale, darius took me in officially. though, sometimes, he'd go over to visit alador/vice versa and brought me along with him since he knew amity and i were (at least from my perspective) becoming friends. there was one specific moment where we were all just sitting around talking in the kitchen, bantering like our usual selves and i had such a warm feeling in my chest the whole time. i never knew what having/being part of a family felt like until then

when i saw barbie (2023) i didnt think i'd kin anyone at all, yet alone ken. however, especially during the climax i started to get kin feelings for him but wasnt sure if they were genuine or just me reacting to scenes i could relate to internally. it wasnt until maybe weeks later that i finally processed the kin related emotions and ended up realizing that i truly did

Timeline

Prior to the series- Atlas was the Golden Guard prior to the one who mentored Darius. So he's 2 generations before Hunter. He accidentally found out about his Grimwalker status and that Belos wasn't as kind and benevolent as he made himself out to be. But that's the extent of his knowledge. He ran away and was able to hide from Belos' troops looking for him. Somehow he gets himself put into suspended animation and he gets out 2 years prior to the start of the show. He spends his time on The Knee and eventually makes his way towards Bonesborough, wandering into the Bat Queen's domain. She finds him....tolerable. He's extremely kind to her wards, befriending a few of them and bonding with one in particular. Oyster the Sea Otter becomes his lifetime companion and he helps rescue other palismen before Belos can get to them and brings them to the Bat Queen.

S2E6- Atlas helps out with Palisman Adoption Day. Since he doesn't have anywhere else to sleep, he stays and guards the Palismen over night. He laughs when he realizes Flapjack had gone with Luz and she was bringing him back. He doesn't actually mind that she crawls in after Flapjack. Just means he can go and grab a snack while she watches. However, Hunter manages to snatch them up just as he's getting back. He follows after them and helps out with that entire debacle all the while trying to avoid Luz's questions of "why do you two look extremely similar?" afterwards. He's honestly glad to see Flapjack find a home. He somehow knows Hunter will be the best companion for him.

S2E11- Atlas definitely thinks Belos removing his mask is just a distraction. A world without wild magic? Fuck that shit, did you see what Belos looks like? He knows his uncle is planning more than what he says he is. And if what Eda and Luz says is true, then he's also building a portal to the human realm. But why?

S2E13- Atlas is curious of what goes on at Hexside so he visits to check out the Club Fair. He wishes he could enroll there, but he thinks he's too old to. He is in his early 20's after all. He encounters Hunter there pretending to be a student and he pulls him aside to make an agreement. Atlas won't let Willow and Gus know he's the Golden Guard if he doesn't do something stupid. He keeps the name Caleb in his memory, thinking it'll come in handy later. Seeing as how it was Flapjack that told him that name. Of course Hunter ends up doing something stupid in the end. But hey Hunter got himself a Scroll and now Atlas can keep an eye on him through Penstagram...if he can figure it out himself too.

S2E16- Atlas is over at the Owl House studying up on Glyph combinations that Luz has written down for the both of them to study and practice with. He's desperately in need of learning more glyphs. However, Eda and King immediately run in with Flapjack and he's forced to help them out with getting Hunter and Luz out of Belos' mind. he takes it upon himself to follow after Hunter once he's out of the mindscape of Belos, knowing what he must be going through and wanting to help him through processing what he must have learned.

S2E18- Amity, Willow, and Gus alert Atlas of the fact that Hunter's at Hexside with them after the whole debacle with Adrien. He tells them the truth of who he is. That he's an Ex-Golden Guard as well that somehow managed to escape Belos by accidentally getting himself in suspended animation for several years. They get angry, understandable so. But he has to explain that he didn't know barely anything either. So what Hunter and Luz discovered about the Day of Unity and all that was news to him. About the Collector. He knew the Grimwalker part, but he keeps that a secret between him, Luz, and Hunter.

S2E20- Atlas is apart of Luz's security detail along with Hunter, Gus, and Willow. Going to get Amity and to tell the Blight's about the truth of the Day of Unity. He guards King while the kids go and do their thing, following him and incidentally finding Alador in the process. He doubts they'll be able to sway Odalia, but Alador. King and him fill Alador in on the details, letting him know all about the Draining Spell. Luz is taken disguised as Hunter and the group go after her.

S2E21- He joins the group to save Luz and fight Belos. He's very creeped out by Belos' goopy monstrous appearance. He uses his own glyph magic to help fight, zipping in front of Hunter to protect him when Belos tries to use some guilt tripping on him. Leave his brother alone, you damn freak. He escapes to the human realm with the others once the Collector arrives.

S3E1- Atlas is honestly having the time of his life in the human realm. He uses it as a chance to bond with Hunter even more and he quickly becomes the proud older brother who cheers Hunter on in all of his endeavors. Whether that be learning Spanish or getting his hair cut. He's saddened to learn that sea otters do not live in Connecticut though. That he'd have to fly to the opposite side of the country to see them. Camilla has been very kind enough to let him order some otter plushies from the internet to help him feel better. Oyster seems to like them enough, cuddling with them at night and keeping them safe. His Halloween costume for the festival in Old Gravesfield is him dressed as a vampire. Cause he thinks vampires are fun. He's absolutely beyond PISSED when he sees Belos has possessed Hunter. He's saddened to see Flapjack go, but if it means keeping Hunter around longer then so be it.

WILL BE FINISHED WHEN THE SERIES CONCLUDES.
