doug headcanons for the common fellow

-while his parents are very good at making bread, doug has always fallen behind slightly at making treats and snacks. instead, he’s really good at cooking, not baking. he makes all the meals for his parents and when he went off to ‘achieve that grind/die’ they had to use the fantasy alternative to freezer meals.

-doug, despite his attitude, actually developed a small crush on ron since he was a ‘business man’ and doug assumed that meant he was constantly chasing that grind. what a man.

-doug has never had any friends due to him constantly being on that grind— he was actually the top of his class in school and skipped 3 grades— but he has had LOTS of admirers. turns out the hoes love it when you dont talk to anyone and are smart.

-taylor swift (not that one) doesnt actually know who taylor swift (yes that one) is. when he introduced himself as taylor swift on the internet everyone thought he was using a pseudonym and was just a really big swifty. people started editing him to taylor swift (yes that one) songs

-methinks that taylor actually needs his cane due to leg and back pain. but also so he can put decorations. and his sword. its a triple threat. he has so many small little like. bracelets and stickers and doodles on his cane

-was extremely hyperfixated on ‘old anime’ so now he’s a big fan of sailor moon. he actually cosplays sailor mars. shes his favorite.

-expanding on the last one, he cosplays a whole bunch. AND he has a facebook page full of all his cosplays and the process behind making them— he puts up sewing patterns and everything. what a helpful fellow!!

I have like,, 4 main D&D OCS + a fuckton of others but mainly my D&D OCS for the sake of consistency.

I've concluded that my Goliath Monk Vio would be very fond of Henry. They'd get along great as " nature-vegan-love-all" types and Vio would be very into learning about Geology bc he just. Fucking loves new things. Vio would give Henry one of the special enchanted roses that his monastery protects bc he's a kind gentle dude and he'd assume Henry would use it for the good of someone else. Vio would crack Glenn's spine in half if he knew about the UFC betting.

Beacon. Human Paladin. a lot of valor, honor, protection; a little iffy on how far he'll go to trophy hunt monsters but overall pretty chill. I don't think he'd like any of them that much but he'd like Darryl's Protector role in the party and Ron's fishing......hobby??? Might slay Jodie, but would hesitate.

Góban would arm wrestle all of them and would make fun of the losers. She's a human fighter and probably my least defined PC but she wants somebody who will listen to her, will fight her for fun, and carry her in their shoulders if she gets tired. Would think Henry is a wuss, like Darryl and Glenn, and demand that her and Ron compare heights ( she's also short)

Ska'rrva....would fucking hate all of them. Like she's neutral at best but she's an orc body-guard-for-hire and does not fuck around. Stern, strong, easy to irritate if you're a manbaby. Barbarian to Barbarian communication with Darryl, thinks Ron is probably the least annoying out of all of them. Henry needs to shut up and Glenn can stick around is he doesn't sabotage her job.
