Also the funniest part in all of the WoF books i think is when Wren meets Undauntable and is immediately like "lol that name fuckin sucks" and then Undauntable is like "i am the prince of this city and the Lord's son"

And Wren is just like "oh my bad. lol that name fuckin sucks, your majesty"

Also I'd just like to clarify that Wren is not blushing at Undauntable, I just give cheek lines to every character I draw its an art style thing lol! Though I do believe Wren and Undauntable could have become a VERY VERY interesting item, as they are in canon I can't bring myself to ship them. I do love their interactions and dynamic though, which is why I added them after all :D!

I may be Undauntable's one and only fan, but it's a title I'll take to my grave. I LOVE that stupid loser with daddy issues yeah I said it!

Weirdly enough, Dragonslayer actually makes Deathbringer’s actions throughout the first arc make so much more sense. Like yeah if I were a very lonely assassin who already didn’t really want to be one, and I met a talking animal who I presumed was a hallucination, and it told me that it was my conscience and to not go through with my next assignment and then threatened me to take it to an enemy palace, maybe I’d throw away everything for the first charming stranger I was supposed to kill too. Idk, sounds like a real life-changing experience.

Rose (Flower) the Human

(I'm not well practiced with drawing humans by any means. I was initially going to hold off on drawing any scavengers until I get to Dragonslayer, but I think Rose is an important character in The Brightest Night that deserves a mention)

Random thought yet again. Do you think that there could be a dragon equivalent of Gordan Ramsey in Pyrrhia and Pantala? Like some random SkyWing/HiveWing chef who has restaurants all over Pyrrhia/Pantala and has a terrible temper?

Like in Dragonslayer that one random SkyWing in the kitchen that helped leaf or whatever his name was and walked off with the dragonet?

Just some super prickly dragon who has a soft spot for dragonets and is always gentle with them

here's an actual confession: when reading re-reading dragonslayer i pretty much half-hallucinated leaf's character being good. i got so bored reading his dialogue and interactions that i started wondering what he would've instead been if i was writing him instead. my brain autocorrect what he was saying to fit more with the version of him that i conjured up in my head, making adjustments to other characters and their reactions when necessary. at a certain point it wasn't even really a conscious' thing and i continued doing it until almost the end of the book.

"man, i wonder why people give leaf so much shit when he's the only really interesting protagonist" i thought before flipping back to try and see all of his cool lines of dialogue. then i realized that i made it all up and got upset
