Blood Oath magic in Elden Ring is so wild dude like yeah sure let me cast spells by *stabbing and mutilating a formless masochistic elder god and throwing its cursed burning blood at you as an attack* and it's just like a normal school of magic treated like any other as if that isn't the most unbelievably metal shit you could imagine
can you imagine getting killed by a fucking snail. you've fought some valiant warrior's fight to the death to be reborn with the blessing of a goddess into a new life in a new world. battle your way across a continent full of strange monsters and dragons and demigods. and you get killed by a snail that just sits there and shrieks like a baby until a ghost dog shows up to save him.
I disappointed Radahn ☄️ was not included in the newest elden ring fic 🤣🤣🤣💜 I loved how accurately descriptive you were to game play and the environment that I could perfectly envision where Nancy was. Feck Cealid, those dino dogs and birds still haunt me.
Hahaha unfortunately he was part of the many (many) characters who got mostly cut. There’s simply too much elden ring lore!
And thank youuuu <3 I’m glad my love of simply exploring the lands between (and my hatred for caelid) shone through!
I love this fight. To me Mohg is a good balance between hard and fair. He has a decent amount of health, he hits hard, and you have to keep an eye on your surroundings because of the blood he throws around. However, he also has a pretty straightforward move set with nothing too over the top. All round I’d say he’s one of the better fights in the game.
Speaking about Elden Ring cut content, Gowry has this unused line about us Tarnished having "sown a seed in Millicent's heart".
And in the jp version this line says that Millicent seems to have "special feelings" for us. (Which can be interpreted as romantical if you'd like to).
YES during the demo it was a gut feeling. Actually looking at the voice cast list and seeing Anthony Howell didn't help me!
Every time I get called a good boy as he asks me to kill a bunch of people, I instantly surrender
geppetto, every time: won't you help me? won't you be a good boy?
me: yes pls im a good boy 🥺🥺🥺 i killed my boyfriend the king of puppets just as you asked even though im suspecting you experimented on him first before repeating the procedure on me
i think the real issue with botw/totk format is that the exploration is great, but the rewards are fungible so it's not properly incentivized. No matter how many interesting new places you go (and many of the places are very interesting!), you always know what will be there. This wouldn't be a problem in a smaller game but since the game is so big, the novelty wears out well before the end.
Man I wish you could summon people for evergaol bosses tbh, I wanna get summoned into some rando's world, parry the shit out of the Stormhill Crucible Knight, and then just leave immediately after
People who call games ‘dying games’ are either dude bros who think they are too good for the game so no one should ever play or have looked at the game for so long they physically cannot stand it and it’s called gaming burnout
